حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عِتْبَانُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ عَمِيَ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ تَعَالَ فَخُطَّ لِي مَسْجِدًا . فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَجَاءَ قَوْمُهُ وَنُعِتَ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ يُقَالُ لَهُ مَالِكُ بْنُ الدُّخْشُمِ . ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ .
আবূ বকর ইবনু নাফি আল আবদী (রহঃ) ..... আনাস (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
ইতবান (রাযিঃ) অন্ধ হয়ে গিয়েছিলেন। তিনি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম এর নিকট এ বলে খবর পাঠালেন, আপনি আমার ঘরে তাশরীফ আনুন এবং আমার জন্য একটি সালাতের স্থান নির্দিষ্ট করে দেন। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম তার সঙ্গীদের নিয়ে তাশরীফ আনলেন এবং মালিক ইবনু দুখশুম নামক এক ব্যক্তির কথা সেখানে উল্লেখ করা হলো ..... তারপর বর্ণনাকারী সুলাইমান ইবনু মুগীরার মতো হাদীসটি বর্ণনা করেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৫৭, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
It is narrated on the authority of Anas that 'Itban b. Malik told him that he became blind. He sent a message to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that he should come and mark a place of worship for him. Thereupon came the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and his people and then there was a discussion among them about a man who was known as Malik b. Dukhshum, and subsequently the narrator described the hadith of Sulaiman b. Mughira as stated above
তিনি বলেন আমাকে মাহমুদ ইবনু রাবী' ইতবান ইবনু মালিক (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণনা করেছেন, মাহমূদ বলেন, আমি মদীনায় আসলাম এবং ইতবানের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করে বললাম, আপনার সূত্রে একটি হাদীস আমার কাছে পৌছেছে (সুতরাং ঘটনাটি আমাকে সবিস্তারে বলুন)। তিনি (ইতবান) বললেন, আমার দৃষ্টিশক্তি কিছুটা কমে যাওয়ায় আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম এর নিকট এ মর্মে সংবাদ পাঠালাম যে, আমার ইচ্ছা আপনি আমার বাড়িতে এসে এক জায়গায় সালাত আদায় করবেন এবং আমি সে জায়গাটি সালাতের জন্য নির্দিষ্ট করে নিবো। তিনি (ইতবান) বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম আসলেন এবং আল্লাহর ইচ্ছায় তার সাথে তার কতিপয় সাহাবাও আসলেন। তিনি ঘরে প্রবেশ করেই সালাত আদায় করতে লাগলেন। আর তার সাহাবাগণ আপোষে কথাবার্তা বলতে থাকলেন। তাদের আলোচনার এক পর্যায়ে এসে তারা মালিক ইবনু দুখশুম* সম্পর্কে মস্ত বড় আপত্তিকর বদদু'আ করুন এবং সে ধ্বংস হয়ে যাক। আবার কেউ এ ইচ্ছাও প্রকাশ করলেন যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম তাকে বদদু'আ করুন এবং সে ধ্বংস হয়ে যাক। আবার কেউ এ বাসনাও প্রকাশ করলেন যে, যদি তার উপর আকস্মিক কোন দুর্ঘটনা নেমে আসতো তাহলে খুবই উত্তম হতো। ইত্যবসরে রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম সালাত সমাপ্ত করলেন এবং জিজ্ঞেস করলে, সে (মালিক) কি এ কথার সাক্ষ্য দেয় না যে, আল্লাহ ব্যতীত প্রকৃত কোন উপাস্য নেই এবং আমি আল্লাহর রাসূল"? লোকেরা বলল, সে মুখে বলে ঠিকই কিন্তু তার অন্তরে এর প্রতি কোন উপাস্য নেই। তিনি বললেন, "যে কেউ এ সাক্ষ্য দিবে যে, "আল্লাহ ব্যতীত প্রকৃত কোন উপাস্য নেই এবং আমি আল্লাহর রাসূল" সে জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে না। অথবা তিনি বলেছেন, আগুন তাকে গ্রাস করবে না। আনাস (রাযিঃ) বলেন, এ হাদীসটি আমার নিকট খুবই চমৎকার মনে হয়েছে। তাই আমি আমার পুত্রকে বললাম, এটা লিখে নাও। সুতরাং সে তা লিখে নিলো। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৫৬, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
It is narrated on the authority of 'Itban b. Malik that he came to Medina and said:Something had gone wrong with my eyesight. I, therefore, sent (a message to the Holy Prophet): Verily it is my ardent desire that you should kindly grace my house with your presence and observe prayer there so, that I should make that corner a place of worship. He said: The Prophet (ﷺ) came there, and those amongst the Companions whom Allah willed also accompanied him. He entered (my place) and offered prayer at my residence and his Companions began to talk amongst themselves (and this conversation centered round hypocrites), and then the conspicuous one, Malik b. Dukhshum was made the target and they wished that he (the Holy Prophet) should curse him and he should die or he should meet some calamity. In the meanwhile the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) completed his prayer and said: Does Malik b. Dukhshum not testify the fact that there is no god but Allah and verily I am the messenger of Allah. They replied: He makes a profession of it (no doubt) but does not do it out of (sincere) heart. He (the Holy Prophet) said: He who testifies that there is no god but Allah and I am the messenger of Allah would not enter Hell or its (flames) would not consume him. Anas said: This hadith impressed me very much and I told my son to write it down
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া আবূ উমার আল মাক্কী ও বিশ্বর ইবনু হাকাম (রহঃ) ..... আব্বাস ইবনু আবদুল মুত্তালিব (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম কে বলতে শুনেছেনঃ সে ব্যক্তি ঈমানের স্বাদ পেয়েছে, যে রব হিসেবে আল্লাহকে, দীন হিসেবে ইসলামকে এবং রাসূল হিসেবে মুহাম্মাদ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম কে সন্তুষ্ট চিত্তে স্বীকার করেছে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৫৮, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
It is narrated on the authority of 'Abbas b. 'Abdul-Muttalib that he heard the Messenger of Allah saying:He has found the taste of faith (iman) who is content with Allah as his Lord, with Islam as his religion (code of life) and with Muhammad (ﷺ) as his Prophet
নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ও মুআয ইবনু জাবাল (রাযিঃ) একই বাহনের পৃষ্ঠে উপবিষ্ট ছিলেন। তারপর নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বললেন, “হে মুআয ইবনু জাবাল! মুআয (রাযিঃ) বলেন, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আমি উপস্থিত, আপনার আনুগত্য শিরোধার্য। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম পুনরায় বললেন, হে মুআয ইবনু জাবাল! মুআয (রাযিঃ) বলেন, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আমি উপস্থিত, আপনার আনুগত্য শিরোধার্য। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম পুনরায় বললেন, হে মুআয ইবনু জাবাল! মুআয (রাযিঃ) বলেন, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আমি হাযির, আপনার আনুগত্য শিরোধার্য। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বললেন, যদি কোন বান্দা সাক্ষ্য দেয় যে, আল্লাহ ছাড়া প্রকৃতপক্ষে কোন ইলাহ নেই এবং মুহাম্মাদ। তার বান্দা ও রাসূল- তবে আল্লাহ তার উপর জাহান্নামের আগুন হারাম করে দিবেন। মু'আয (রাযিঃ) বলেন, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আমি কি লোকদের এ সংবাদ দিব? যাতে তারা সুসংবাদ পায়। রাসূলুল্লাহসাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বললেন, তাহলে লোকেরা এর উপর নির্ভরশীল হয়ে পড়বে। পরে সত্য কথা গোপন রাখার গুনাহের ভয়ে মুআয (রাযিঃ) মৃত্যুর সময় এ খবরটি শুনিয়ে গেছেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৫৫, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
It is reported on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Prophet of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) addressed Mu'adh b. Jabal as he was riding behind him to which he replied:At thy beck and call, and at thy pleasure, Messenger of Allah. He again called out: Mu'adh, to which he (again) replied: At thy beck and call, and at thy pleasure. He (the Holy Prophet) addressed him (again): Mu'adh, to which he replied: At thy beck and call, and at thy pleasure, Messenger of Allah. Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) observed: If anyone testifies (sincerely from his heart) that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His bondsman and His messenger, Allah immuned him from Hell. He (Mu'adh) said: Messenger of Allah, should I not then inform people of it, so that they may be of good cheer? He replied: Then they would trust in it alone. Mu'adh told about it at the time of his death, to avoid sinning
