তিনি বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সালাত আদায়ের সময় যখন বসতেন (বৈঠক করতেন) তখন দু'হাত দু' হাঁটুর উপর রাখতেন। আর ডান হাতের বৃদ্ধাঙ্গুলির পার্শ্ববর্তী (শাহাদাত) আঙ্গুল উঠিয়ে ইশারা করতেন এবং বাঁ হাত বাঁ হাঁটুর উপর ছড়িয়ে রাখতেন। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১১৮৫, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Ibn 'Umar reported that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sat for tashahhud he placed his left hand on his left knee. and his right hand on his right knee. and he raised his right finger, which is next to the thumb, making supplication in this way, and he stretched his left hand on his left knee
কুতায়বাহ (ইবনু সাঈদ) ও আবূ বাকর ইবনু আবূ শায়বাহ (রহঃ) ..... আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু যুবায়র (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যখন দু'আ করার জন্য বসতেন তখন ডান হাতটি ডান উরুর উপর এবং বাঁ হাতটি বাঁ উরুর উপর রাখতেন। আর শাহাদাত আঙ্গুল দ্বারা ইশারা করতেন। এ সময় তিনি বৃদ্ধাঙ্গুলি মধ্যমার সাথে সংযুক্ত করতেন এবং বাঁ হাতের তালু (বাঁ) হাঁটুর উপর রাখতেন। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১১৮৪, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abdullah b. Zubair narrated on the authority of his father that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sat for supplication, i. e. tashahhud (blessing and supplication), he placed his right hand on his right thigh and his left hand on his left thigh, and pointed with his forefinger, and placed his thumb on his (milddle) finger, and covered his knee with the palm of his left hand
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সালাতের মধ্যে "তাশাহহুদ’ পড়তে যখন বসতেন তখন বাঁ হাতটি বা হাঁটুর উপর এবং ডান হাত ডান হাঁটুর উপর রাখতেন। আর (হাতের তালু ও আঙ্গুলসমূহ গুটিয়ে আরবী) তিপ্পান্ন সংখ্যার মতো করে শাহাদাত আঙ্গুল দ্বারা ইশারা করতেন*। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১১৮৬, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Another version on the authority of Ibn Umar says:When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sat for tashahhud, he placed his left hand on his left knee and placed his right hand on his right knee, and he formed a ring like (fifty-three) and pointed with his finger of attestation

তিনি বলেন, সালাত আদায়ের সময় রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যখন বৈঠক করতেন তখন বাঁ পা'টি (ডান পায়ের) উরু ও নলার মধ্যে স্থাপন করতেন, ডান পা'টি বিছিয়ে দিতেন, আর বাঁ হাতটি বাঁ হাঁটুর উপর এবং ডান হাতটি ডান উরুর উপর স্থাপন করতেন। আর আঙ্গুল দিয়ে ইশারা করতেন। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১১৮৩, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
