রেওয়ায়ত ৩৭. মালিক (রহঃ) বলেনঃ তিনি আহলে ইলমকে (বিজ্ঞ উলামা) বলিতে শুনিয়াছেন, সর্বদা রোযা রাখতে কোন দোষ নাই, যদি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যে দিবসে রোযা রাখিতে নিষেধ করিয়াছেন সেই সব দিবসে রোযা রাখা হইতে বিরত থাকে। আর সেই সব দিবস হইল- মিনা-এর দিনগুলি, ফিতর ও আযহা দিবস। আমাদের নিকট এই বিষয়ে যাহা পৌছিয়াছে এবং এই ব্যাপারে আমি যাহা শুনিয়াছি তন্মধ্যে ইহা হইতেছে সর্বাপেক্ষা আমার পছন্দনীয়।
Yahya related to me from Malik that he used to hear the people of knowledge say,"There is no harm in fasting continuously as long as one breaks the fast on the days on which the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade fasting, namely, the days of Mina, the day of Adha and the day of Fitr, according to what we have heard." Malik said, "This is what I like most out of what I have heard about the matter
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، . أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمَيْنِ يَوْمِ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمِ الأَضْحَى .
রেওয়ায়ত ৩৬. আবু হুরায়রা (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম দুই দিবসে রোযা নিষেধ করিয়াছেন- ঈদুল ফিতর ও ঈদুল আযহার দিন।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban from alAraj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade fasting on two days, the day of Fitr and the day of Adha
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ الْوِصَالِ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ فَقَالَ " إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَهَيْئَتِكُمْ إِنِّي أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى " .
রেওয়ায়ত ৩৮. আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত-রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম অনবরত রাত্রেও কিছু না খাইয়া রেযা রাখিতে নিষেধ করিয়াছেন। সাহাবীগণ বললেন, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আপনি যে অনবরত রোযা রাখেন! রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিলেনঃ আমি অবশ্য তোমাদের মত নহি। আমাকে আহার ও পানীয় দেওয়া হয়।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade fasting for two days or more without breaking the fast in between. They said, "But Messenger of Allah, you practise wisal." He replied, "I am not the same as you. I am fed and given to drink
রেওয়ায়ত ৩৫. মালিক (রহঃ) বলেনঃ তাহার নিকট রেওয়ায়ত পৌছিয়াছে যে, উমর ইবন খাত্তাব (রাঃ) হারিস ইবন হিশাম (রাঃ)-এর নিকট খবর পাঠাইয়াছেন, কাল আশুরা দিবস, তুমি নিজেও রোযা রাখ এবং পরিবার-পরিজনকেও রোযা রাখিতে বল।
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Umar ibn al-Khattab had sent (the following message) to al-Harith ibn Hisham, ''Tomorrow is the day of Ashura, so fast (it) and tell your family to fast (also)
