وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ : " لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَمُرَّ الرَّجُلُ بِقَبْرِ الرَّجُلِ فَيَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي مَكَانَهُ " .
রেওয়ায়ত ৫৩. আবু হুরায়রা (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত- রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিয়াছেনঃ কিয়ামত কায়েম হইবে না যতক্ষণ না এক ব্যক্তি অন্য ব্যক্তির কবরের পাশ দিয়া চলিবে এবং বলিবেঃ আহা, যদি আমি এই (কবরবাসী) লোকের জায়গায় হইতাম।

রেওয়ায়ত ৫২. আবু হুরায়রা (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত- রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিয়াছেনঃ (বনি আদমের) প্রতিটি নবাগত সন্তান স্বভাব-এর (فطرة) উপর জন্মায়। অতঃপর তাহার মাতাপিতা তাহাকে ইহুদী বানায়, অথবা খৃস্টান বানায়, যেমন উট জন্ম নেয় সুস্থ-পূর্ণ দেহের উট হইতে। তোমরা কি উহাকে কৰ্ণ কর্তিত দেখিতে পাও? তাহারা বলিলেনঃ ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! যে শিশু শৈশবে মারা যায় সেই শিশু সম্পর্কে আপনার মতামত কি? তিনি বলিলেনঃ তাহারা প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক হইলে কিরূপ কাজ করিত তাহা আল্লাহ অধিক অবগত।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Every child is born on the fitra and it is his parents who make him a jew or a christian. Just as a camel is born whole - do you perceive any defect?" They said, "Messenger of Allah, what happens to people who die when they are (very) young?" He said, "Allah knows best what they used to do
রেওয়ায়ত ৫৪. আবু কাতাদা ইবন রিবরী (রাঃ) বলিতেন যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নিকট দিয়া একটি জানাযা নিয়া যাওয়া হইতেছিল। তিনি বলিলেনঃ (مُسْتَرِيحٌ وَمُسْتَرَاحٌ مِنْهُ) অর্থাৎ সে নিজেও শান্তিপ্রাপ্ত এবং অন্য লোকও তাহা হইতে শান্তি লাভ করিয়াছেন। তাহারা (উপস্থিত সাহাবীগণ) বলিলেনঃ ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! মুসতারাহ এবং মুসতারাহ মিনহু-এর তাৎপর্য কি ? তিনি বলিলেনঃ মু'মিন বান্দা (মৃত্যুর মাধ্যমে) দুনিয়ার দুঃখ-ক্লেশ হইতে (মুক্তি লাভ করিয়া) আল্লাহর রহমতের দিকে গমন করে এবং শান্তি লাভ করে। আর পাপী বান্দা হইতে আল্লাহর বান্দাগণ শহর, নগর, বৃক্ষরাজি ও জীব-জন্তু সবকিছুই শান্তি লাভ করে অর্থাৎ তাহার কষ্ট হইতে মুক্তি পায়। আবুন নাযর (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত- যখন উসমান ইবনে মযউন (রাঃ) ইন্তিকাল করিলেন এবং তাঁহার জানাযা নিয়া যাওয়া হইল, তখন রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিলেনঃ তুমি (দুনিয়া হইতে) চলিয়া গেলে (এমন অবস্থায় যে) দুনিয়ার সাথে কোন সম্পর্ক গড়িলে না।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Halhalaad-Dili from Mabad ibn Kab ibn Malik that Abu Qatada ibn Ribi used to relate that a funeral procession passed by the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said, "One is relieved and another others are relieved from." They said, "Who is the one relieved and the one from whom others are relieved?" He said, "A slave who is mumin is the one who is relieved from the exhaustion and suffering of this world to the mercy of Allah, and a wrong-acting slave is the one from whom people, towns, trees and animals are relieved
রেওয়ায়ত ৫১. আবু হুরায়রা (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত- রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিয়াছেনঃ এক ব্যক্তি কোন সময় নেকী করে নাই, তাহার পরিজনকে বলিলঃ সে মারা গেলে তাহাকে যেন জ্বালাইয়া ফেলে, অতঃপর উহার অর্ধেক শুকনায় ছড়াইয়া দেয়, আর অর্ধেক সাগরে ছিটাইয়া দেয়। আল্লাহর কসম, যদি আল্লাহ তাহার জন্য শাস্তি নির্ধারণ করেন তবে তাহাকে এইরূপ শাস্তি দিবেন জগদ্বাসীদের কাহাকেও সেইরূপ শাস্তি তিনি দিবেন না। সেই ব্যক্তির যখন মৃত্যু হইল, তাহার পরিজন তাহার নির্দেশানুযায়ী কাজ করিল। অতঃপর আল্লাহ্ তা'আলা শুষ্ক ভূমিকে হুকুম করিলেন, সেই ব্যক্তির অংশসমূহকে যাহা তাহার মধ্যে ছিল একত্র করিয়া দিতে, আর সাগরকে হুকুম দিলেন, যাহা তোমার মধ্যে ছিল একত্র করিয়া দিতে। ভূমি সেই ব্যক্তির অংশকে একত্র করিয়া দিল, সাগরও উহাকে একত্র করিয়া দিল। তারপর আল্লাহ বলিলেনঃ তুমি এই কাজ কেন করিলে? সে বলিলঃ আপনার ভয়ে, হে প্ৰভু! আর আপনি অধিক জ্ঞাত। রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিলেনঃ অতঃপর তাহাকে ক্ষমা করিয়া দেওয়া হইল।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "A man said to his family that he had never done a good action, and that when he died they were to burn him and then scatter half of him on the land and half of him on the sea, and by Allah, if Allah destined it for him He would punish him with a punishment which He had not punished anyone else with in all the worlds. When the man died, they did as he had told them. Then Allah told the land to collect everything that was in it, and told the sea to collect everything that was in it, and then He said to the man, 'Why did you do this?' and he said, 'From fear of You, Lord, and You know best.'
