Yahya related to me from Muhammad ibn alMunkadir that Rabia ibn Abdullah ibn alHadir told him that he had seen Umar ibn al-Khattab leading people in front of the bier at the funeral of Zaynab bint Jahsh
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ كَانُوا يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ وَالْخُلَفَاءُ هَلُمَّ جَرًّا وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ .
রেওয়ায়ত ৮. ইবন শিহাব (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত- রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আবু বকর সিদ্দীক (রাঃ), উমর (রাঃ) তাহারা সকলেই জানাযার আগে চলিতেন। তাহাদের পরে খলীফাগণ (যুগে যুগে) এবং আবদুল্লাহ্ ইবনে উমর (রাঃ)-ও এইরূপ করিয়াছেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and Abu Bakr and Umar as well as the khalifas up until this time and Abdullah ibn Umar, would walk in front of the bier
রেওয়ায়ত ১০. হিশাম ইবনে উরওয়াহ্ (রহঃ) বলেনঃ আমি আমার পিতাকে কখনও কোন জানাযায় উহার আগে আগে ছাড়া চলিতে দেখি নাই, কিন্তু বকীতে পৌছার পর সেখানে বসিতেন। লোকজন (জানাযাসহ) তাহার সম্মুখ দিয়া গমন করিতেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik that Hisham ibn Urwa said, "I only ever saw my father in front of a funeral procession." He added, "Then he would come to al-Baqi and sit down until the procession passed him
রেওয়ায়ত ৭ আবদুর রহমান[1] ইবন আমর ইবন আস (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত— তিনি বলেনঃ মুর্দাকে কোর্তা এবং ইযার পরিধান করান হইবে। অতঃপর তৃতীয় কাপড় দ্বারা তাহাকে আবৃত করিতে হইবে। আর যদি একটি কাপড় ব্যতীত অন্য কাপড় না থাকে তবে উহাতেই কাফন দেওয়া হইবে।
