وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعْدَ أَنْ قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ سِتَّةَ عَشَرَ شَهْرًا نَحْوَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ ثُمَّ حُوِّلَتِ الْقِبْلَةُ قَبْلَ بَدْرٍ بِشَهْرَيْنِ .
রেওয়ায়ত ৭. সাঈদ ইবন মুসায়্যাব (রহঃ) বলেনঃ রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম মদীনায় শুভাগমন করার পর ষোল মাস যাবত বায়তুল মুকাদ্দাসের দিকে নামায পড়িয়াছেন। অতঃপর বদরের (যুদ্ধের) দুই মাস পূর্বে কিবলা পরিবর্তিত হয়।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that Said ibn al-Musayyab said, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, prayed towards the Baytal-Maqdis for sixteen months after arriving in Madina. Then the qibla was moved, two months before the battle of Badr
রেওয়ায়ত ৬. আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) বলিয়াছেনঃ যখন লোকজন কাবাগৃহে ফজরের নামাযে ছিলেন এমন সময় একজন আগন্তুক তাহদের নিকট আসিলেন। তিনি (আসিয়া) বলিলেনঃ রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর উপর (গত) রাত্রে কুরআন নাযিল হইয়াছে। তাহাকে নির্দেশ দেওয়া হইয়াছে (নামাযে) কাবা’র দিকে মুখমণ্ডল করার জন্য। অতএব আপনারাও কাবার দিকে মুখ করুন। ইহা শুনিয়া তাহারা কাবা’-র দিকে ঘুরিয়া গেলেন অথবা তাহাদের মুখ ছিল শামের দিকে।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Dinar that Abdullah ibn Umar said, "On one occasion when the people were praying subhat Quba a man came to them and said, 'A piece of Qur'an was sent down to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, last night, and he was ordered to face the Kaba, so face it.' They had been facing ash-Sham, so they turned round and faced the Kaba
রেওয়ায়ত ৮. নাফি' (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, উমর ইবন খাত্তাব (রাঃ) বলিয়াছেনঃ বায়তুল্লাহর দিকে মুখ করিলেই হয়, পূর্বে ও পশ্চিমের মধ্যবর্তী স্থান কিবলা বলিয়া গণ্য করা হয়। (মদীনা হইতে মক্কা দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিমে, পূর্ব ও পশ্চিমের মধ্যবর্তী স্থান বলিতে ইহাই বুঝানো হইয়াছে।)
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Umar ibn al-Khattab said, "Any direction that is between east and west can be taken as a qibla if the person praying is face-on to the House
Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father from A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, mayAllah bless him and grant him peace, that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saw spittle, or mucus or phlegm, on the wall of the qibla and scraped it off
