রেওয়ায়ত ৩. ওয়াসি ইবন হাব্বান (রহঃ) বলেন, আবদুল্লাহ্ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) বলিতেনঃ কিছুসংখ্যক লোক বলিয়া থাকেঃ তুমি যখন তোমার আবশ্যকের জন্য (প্রস্রাব ও পায়খানার জন্য) বস, তখন কিবলা ও বায়তুল মুকাদ্দাসকে সামনে করিবে না। আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) বলেনঃ (একবার) আমি আমাদের গৃহের ছাদে চড়িলাম, তখন আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে (তাহার আবশ্যকের জন্য) দুইটি ইটের উপর উপবিষ্ট দেখিলাম, বায়তুল মুকাদ্দাসকে সামনে রাখিয়া। অতঃপর তিনি বলেনঃ সম্ভবত তোমরা তোমাদের পাছার উপর নামায পড়। রাবী (ওয়াসি ইবন হাব্বান) বলেন- আমি বলিলামঃ আল্লাহর কসম, আমি জানি না আপনি ইহা দ্বারা কি বুঝাইয়াছেন। তখন তিনি বললেনঃ অর্থাৎ যে জমির সাথে পাছা লাগাইয়া সিজদা করে (সে পাছার উপর নামায পড়ে)।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban from his paternal uncle, Wasi ibn Habban, that Abdullah ibn Umar said, "People say, 'When you sit to relieve yourself, do not face the qibla or the Bayt al-Maqdis.' " Abdullah continued, "I went upon top of a house of ours and saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, (squatting) on two unfired bricks facing the Bayt al-Maqdis, relieving himself." Ibn Umar added, "Perhaps you are one of those who pray folded on their haunches." Wasi replied, "I don't know, by Allah
Yahya related to me from Malik from one of the Ansar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade defecating or urinating while facing the qibla
রেওয়ায়ত ৫. নবী করীম সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সহধর্মিণী আয়েশা (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম একবার কিবলার দিকে দেওয়ালে থুথু অথবা কাশ বা নাকের পানি (কোনটি বলিয়াছেন এই বিষয়ে রাবীর সন্দেহ হইয়াছে) দেখিতে পাইলেন, তিনি উহা ঘষিয়া পরিষ্কার করিয়াছিলেন।
Malik said that he meant someone who, when he prostrated, kept his body close to the ground. Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saw spittle on the wall of the qibla and scraped it off. Then he went up to the people and said, "Do not spit in front of you when you are praying, because Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, is in front of you when you pray
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، مَوْلًى لآلِ الشِّفَاءِ - وَكَانَ يُقَالُ لَهُ مَوْلَى أَبِي طَلْحَةَ - أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ الأَنْصَارِيَّ صَاحِبَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ بِمِصْرَ يَقُولُ وَاللَّهِ مَا أَدْرِي كَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ بِهَذِهِ الْكَرَايِيسِ وَقَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا ذَهَبَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْغَائِطَ أَوِ الْبَوْلَ فَلاَ يَسْتَقْبِلِ الْقِبْلَةَ وَلاَ يَسْتَدْبِرْهَا بِفَرْجِهِ " .
রেওয়ায়ত ১. নাফি ইবন ইসহাক (রহঃ) বলেন- নবী করীম সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সাহাবী আবু আইয়ুব আনসারী (রাঃ)-কে আমি মিসরে বলিতে শুনিয়াছিঃ আল্লাহর কসম, আমি জানি না এই শৌচাগারগুলি কি করিব। অথচ রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিয়াছেন তোমাদের কেউ যদি শৌচকার্যের জন্য যায় তবে কিবলাকে সামনেও করিবে না এবং পিছনেও করিবে না।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talha that Rafiibn Ishaq, a mawla of the family of ash-Shifa who was known as the mawla of Abu Talha, heard Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, while he was in Egypt, "By Allah! I don't know how to deal with these lavatories." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "When you go to defecate or urinate, do not expose your genitals towards the qibla, and do not put your back to it
