রেওয়ায়ত ৯২. মালিক (রহঃ) বলেনঃ তাহার নিকট রেওয়ায়ত পৌছিয়াছে যে, আতা ইবন ইয়াসার (রহঃ)-এর (অভ্যাস ছিল) মসজিদে ক্রয়-বিক্রয়কারী কোন ব্যাক্তি তাহার নিকট দিয়া গমন করিলে সেই ব্যক্তিকে ডাকিয়া জিজ্ঞাসা করিতেনঃ তোমার সঙ্গে কি এবং তোমার উদ্দেশ্য কি? যদি সে তাহার নিকট বলিত যে, সে উহা বিক্রয় করিতে চায়, তবে তিনি বলিতেনঃ তুমি দুনিয়ার বাজারে গমন কর, কারণ এইটি হইল আখিরাতের বাজার।
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that if some one passed by Ata ibn Yasar in the mosque with something to trade, he would call him and ask, "What is the matter with you? What do you want?" If the man said that he wished to trade with him, he would say, "You need the market of this world. This is the market of the next world
রেওয়ায়ত ৯১. সা’দ ইবন আবি ওয়াক্কাস (রাঃ) বলেনঃ দুইজন লোক পরস্পর ভাই ভাই, (ঘটনাক্রমে) তাঁহাদের মধ্যে এক ভাই মৃত্যুবরণ করেন অপর ভাইয়ের চল্লিশ রাত্রি পূর্বে। অতঃপর রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সমীপে প্রথম (মৃত্যুবরণকারী) ভাইয়ের ফযীলত আলোচিত হয়। তখন রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিলেনঃ দ্বিতীয় ভাই কি মুসলিম ছিলেন না? (উপস্থিত) সাহাবীগণ বলিলেনঃ হ্যা (তিনিও মুসলিম ছিলেন), ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ্! আর তিনি মন্দলোক ছিলেন না। (ইহা শ্রবণ করার পর) রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিলেনঃ তোমরা জান না, তাহার নামায তাহাকে কোন স্তরে পৌছাইয়াছে। অবশ্য নামাযের দৃষ্টান্ত হইল তোমাদের একজনের দ্বারে অবস্থিত গভীর, পরিপূর্ণ সুমিষ্ট পানির নহরের মত। উক্ত নহরে দৈনিক পাঁচবার যে অবগাহন করে ইহাতে তোমার কি ধারণা, তাহার দেহে কোন ময়লা অবশিষ্ট থাকিবে? অবশ্য তোমরা জান না যে, তাহার নামায তাহাকে মর্যাদার কোন স্তরে নিয়া পৌছাইয়াছে।
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard from Amir ibn Sad ibn Abi Waqqas that his father said, "There were two brothers, one of whom died forty nights before the other. The merit of the first was being mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said, 'Wasn't the other one a muslim?' They said, 'Of course, Messenger of Allah, and there was no harm in him.' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'What will make you realise what his prayer has brought him. The prayer is like a deep river of sweet water running by your door into which you plunge five times a day. How much of your dirtiness do you think that will leave? You do not realise what his prayer has brought him
রেওয়ায়ত ৯৩. মালিক (রহঃ) বলেন, তাহার নিকট রেওয়ায়ত পৌছিয়াছে যে, উমর ইবন খাত্তাব (রাঃ) মসজিদের পার্শ্বে একটি চত্বর তৈয়ার করিয়াছিলেন, যাহাকে বলা হইত বুতায়হা (بطيحاء)। তিনি ঘোষণা করিয়া দিয়াছিলেন, যে ব্যক্তি অনর্থক কথা বলিতে অথবা কবিতা আবৃত্তি করিতে অথবা উচ্চস্বরে কথা বলিতে চায়, সে যেন সেই চত্বরে চলিয়া যায়।
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Umar ibn al-Khattab set aside an area near the mosque called al-Butayha and said, "Whoever wishes to talk nonsense or recite poetry or raise his voice should go to that area
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ أَحَبُّ الْعَمَلِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الَّذِي يَدُومُ عَلَيْهِ صَاحِبُهُ .
রেওয়ায়ত ৯০. নবী করীম সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সহধর্মিণী আয়েশা (রাঃ) বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট সেই আমল ছিল সর্বাধিক প্রিয়, যে আমল উহার সম্পাদনকারী সর্বদা সম্পাদন করিয়া থাকে।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The actions which the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, loved most were those which were done most constantly
