রেওয়ায়ত ২২. নাফি' (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) সফরে ফরয নামাযের সহিত অন্য কোন নামায পড়িতেন না, আগেও না, পরেও না। অবশ্য তিনি মধ্যরাত্রে মৃত্তিকার উপর নামায পড়িতেন, আর পড়িতেন তাহার উটের হাওদার উপর, উট যে দিকেই মুখ করিয়া থাকুক না কেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar never used to pray anything with the fard prayer, either before it or after it, while travelling, except in the depths of the night. He would pray on the ground or on his mount, whichever way it was facing
রেওয়ায়ত ২১. ইবন শিহাব (রহঃ) সাফওয়ান ইবন আবদুল্লাহ ইবন সাফওয়ান (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণনা করেন, তিনি বলিয়াছেন, আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) আবদুল্লাহ ইবন সাফওয়ানকে দেখিতে আসিলেন যখন তিনি অসুস্থ ছিলেন, তখন আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) আমাদের দুই রাকাআত নামায পড়াইলেন। অতঃপর তিনি প্রস্থান করিলেন আর আমরা নামায পূর্ণ করিলাম।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Safwan said, "Abdullah ibn Umar used to come and visit Abdullah ibn Safwan and he would pray two rakas with us, and when he went away we would stand and complete the prayer
রেওয়ায়ত ২৩. মালিক (রহঃ) বলেনঃ তাহার নিকট সংবাদ পৌছিয়াছে যে, কাসিম ইবন মুহাম্মদ, উরওয়াহ ইবন যুবায়র, আবূ বকর ইবন আবদুর রহমান (রহঃ)- তাহারা সকলেই সফরে নফল নামায পড়িতেন। ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) বলেন- মালিক (রহঃ)-কে সফরে নফল পড়া সম্পর্কে প্রশ্ন করা হইলে তিনি বলিয়াছেনঃ দিনে হোক বা রাত্রে হোক, নফল নামায পড়াতে কোন ক্ষতি নাই। তাহার নিকট খবর পৌছিয়াছে যে, কতিপয় আহলে ইলম সফরে নফল পড়িতেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that al-Qasim ibn Muhammad and Urwa ibn az-Zubayr and Abu Bakr ibn Abd ar Rahman used to pray nawafil when travelling. Yahya said that Malik was asked about voluntary prayers when travelling and he said, "There is no harm in them, either at night or during the day. I have heard that some of the people of knowledge used to do that
রেওয়ায়ত ২০. নাফি’ (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) ইমামের ইকতিদা করিয়া নামায পড়িলে মিনাতে চারি রাকাআত পড়িতেন। আর একা পড়িলে তখন দুই রাকাআতই পড়িতেন।
