রেওয়ায়ত ২৮. মালিক (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, তাহার নিকট রেওয়ায়ত পৌছিয়াছে যে, আলী ইবন আবি তালিব ও আবদুল্লাহ ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ) তাহারা উভয়ে বলিতেনঃ সালাতুল উসতা হইল ফজরের নামায। ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) বলেন, মালিক (রহঃ) বলিয়াছেনঃ এ বিষয়ে অন্যান্য উক্তির মধ্যে আমার নিকট আলী ইবন আবি তালিব ও আবদুল্লাহ ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ)-এর উক্তিই পছন্দনীয়।
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that AIi ibn Abi Talib and Abdullah ibn Abbas used to say, "The middle prayer is the prayer of subh." Malik said, "Out of all that I have heard about the matter, I prefer what Ali ibn Abi Talib and Abdullah ibn Abbas said
Yahya related to me from Malik from Da'ud ibn al-Husayn that Ibn Yarbu al-Makhzumi said, "I heard Zayd ibn Thabit say, 'The middle prayer is the prayer of dhuhr
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُشْتَمِلاً بِهِ فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَاضِعًا طَرَفَيْهِ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ .
রেওয়ায়ত ২৯. উমর ইবন আবি সালমা (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, তিনি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম -কে উম্মু সালমা (রাঃ)-এর ঘরে এক কাপড় পরিধান করিয়া নামায পড়িতে দেখিয়াছেন, তিনি তখন চাদরের বাম প্রান্তকে বাম বগলের নিচের দিক দিয়া উঠাইয়া ডান কাধের উপর রাখিতেন এবং চাদরের ডান প্রান্তকে ডান বগলের নিচের দিকে দিয়া উঠাইয়া বাম কাধের উপর রাখিতেন, তাহাতে চাদরের দুই প্রান্ত দুই কাঁধের উপর পড়িয়া থাকিত।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father that Umar ibn Abi Salama saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, praying in one garment in the house of Umm Salama. He was completely covered by it, and had put both ends over his shoulders
রেওয়ায়ত ২৬. আমর ইবন নাফি’ (রহঃ) বলিয়াছেনঃ আমি হাফসা (রাঃ)-এর জন্য মুসহাফ (কুরআন পাক) লিখিতাম, তিনি আমাকে বলিলেন, যখন তুমি (حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى وَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ قَانِتِينَ) এই আয়াতে পৌছ, তখন আমাকে খবর দিও। আমি ঐ আয়াতে পৌছিলে তাহাকে জানাইলাম; তখন তিনি আমার দ্বারা (এইরূপ) লিখাইলেনঃ (حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى وَصَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ وَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ قَانِتِينَ)
Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam that Amr ibn Rafi said, "I was writing a Qur'an for Hafsa, umm al-muminin, and she said, 'When you reach this ayat, let me know, "Guard the prayers carefully and the middle prayer and stand obedient to Allah."
