وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَا مِنْ نَبِيِّ إِلاَّ قَدْ رَعَى غَنَمًا " . قِيلَ وَأَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " وَأَنَا " .
রেওয়ায়ত ১৮. মালিক (রহঃ)-এর নিকট রেওয়ায়ত পৌছিয়াছে যে, রাসূলাল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিয়াছেন, এমন কোন নবী নাই যিনি ছাগল চরান নাই। জিজ্ঞাসা করা হইল, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ্! আপনিও কি (চরাইয়াছেন?) রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিলেন, (হ্যাঁ) আমিও (চরাইয়াছি)।
Malik related to me that he had heard that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "There is no Prophet who has not herded sheep," and someone asked, "You as well, Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Myself as well
রেওয়ায়ত ১৭. ইবন উমর (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, রাসূলল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিয়াছেন যে, মালিকের অনুমতি ব্যতিরেকে তোমরা কোন পশুর দুগ্ধ দোহন করিবে না। তোমাদের কেহ ইহা পছন্দ করিবে কি, কেহ তাহার ঘরে প্রবেশ করিয়া তাহার সিন্দুক ভাঙ্গিয়া তাহার সম্পদ ও খাদ্যসামগ্ৰী লইয়া যাইবে? (অর্থাৎ কখনও পছন্দ করিবে না) পশুর (দুধের) উহার মালিকের খাবারের সিন্দুক (বা গোলা)। সুতরাং মালিকের অনুমতি ব্যতিরেকে কেহ কাহারও জানোয়ারের দুধ দোহন করিবে না।
Malik related to me from Nafi from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "No one should milk someone else's cow without his permission. Would any of you like someone to come to his apartment, break into his larder, and take his food? The udders of cows guard their food for their owners, so no one should milk someone else's cow without his permission
রেওয়ায়ত ১৯. নাফি’ (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, ইবনে উমর (রাঃ)-এর কাছে রাতের খাবার পেশ করা হইত। তিনি তাহার ঘরে বসিয়া ইমামের (ইশার নামাযের) কিরাত শ্রবণ করিতেন। কিন্তু যতক্ষণ তৃপ্ত হইয়া না খাইতেন, খাওয়ার সময় (নামাযের জন্য) তাড়াহুড়া করিতেন না।
Malik related to me from Nafi that one time as Ibn Umar was served his evening meal, he heard the recitation of the Imam while he was in his house and he did not hurry from his food until he had finished what he needed
রেওয়ায়ত ১৬. আবূ সাঈদ খুদরী (রাঃ)-এর বর্ণনা, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিয়াছেন যে, অদূর ভবিষ্যতে কয়েকটি ছাগলই মুসলিমদের উত্তম মাল (বলিয়া বিবেচিত) হইবে। তাহারা ফিতনা-ফাসাদ হইতে নিজেদের দীন রক্ষা করার নিমিত্ত পর্বতের চুড়ায় চলিয়া যাইবে অথবা কোন উপত্যকায় গিয়া আশ্রয় নিবে।
