রেওয়ায়ত ৩. ইবনে শিহাব (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম প্রথমে বেশ কিছু কাল পর্যন্ত স্বীয় চুল (মুবারক) কপালের দিকে ঝুলাইয়া রাখিতেন। পরে উহাতে সিথি বানাইয়া দিতেন (অর্থাৎ চিরুণি দ্বারা চুলকে মাথার মধ্যভাগে দুই ভাগ করিয়া দিতেন)। মালিক (রহঃ) বলেন, পুত্রবধু অথবা শাশুড়ীর চুলের দিকে তাকাইলে গুনাহ হয় না।
Yahya related to me from Malik that Ziyad ibn Sad heard Ibn Shihab say, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, let his hair hang down his forehead as Allah willed, and afterwards he parted it." Malik said, "There is no harm in a man's looking at the hair of his son's wife or the hair of his wife's mother
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ لَهُ أَوْ لِغَيْرِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَهَاتَيْنِ إِذَا اتَّقَى " . وَأَشَارَ بِإِصْبُعَيْهِ الْوُسْطَى وَالَّتِي تَلِي الإِبْهَامَ .
রেওয়ায়ত ৫. সফওয়ান ইবনে সুলাইম (রহঃ)-এর নিকট রেওয়ায়ত পৌঁছিয়াছে যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিয়াছেন, আমি ও ইয়াতীমের অভিভাবক — এই অভিভাবক সংশ্লিষ্ট ইয়াতীমের আত্মীয় হউক কিংবা অনাত্মীয়, যদি তাহারা আল্লাহকে ভয় করে, তবে বেহেশতে আমরা একে অপরের এমন নিকট হইব যেমন এই দুইটি অঙ্গুলি। এই বলিয়া তিনি [অর্থাৎ রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম] শাহাদতের অঙ্গুলি ও মধ্যমার দিকে ইঙ্গিত করিলেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik that Safwan ibn Sulaym heard that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "I and the one who guards the orphan, whether for himself or for someone else, will be like these two in the Garden, when he has taqwa," indicating his middle and index fingers
রেওয়ায়ত ২. আবদুর রহমান ইবন আউফ (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, তিনি মু'আবিয়া ইবন আবূ সুফিয়ান (রাঃ)-এর নিকট সেই বৎসর শুনিয়াছেন, যেই বৎসর তিনি (মু'আবিয়া) হজ্জব্রত পালন করিতে গিয়াছিলেন। তিনি মিম্বরের উপর উপবিষ্ট হইয়া খাদেমের হাত হইতে চুলের একটি গুচ্ছ লইয়া বলিলেন, হে মদীনাবাসিগণ! তোমাদের উলামায়ে কিরাম কোথায়? আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামকে ইহা হইতে নিষেধ করিতে শ্রবণ করিয়াছি। তিনি (অর্থাৎ রাসূলুল্লাহ) ইহাও বলিয়াছেন যে, বনী ইসরাঈলের মহিলাগণ এই কাজ করিয়াছিল বিধায় তাহারা ধ্বংস হইয়াছে।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Humay ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf heard Muawiya ibn Abi Sufyan say from the mimbar in the year that he performed the hajj, holding a lock of hair (i.e. a hairpiece) which he took from one of his guards, "People of Madina! Where are your learned men? I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbid the like of this, saying, 'The Banu Israil were destroyed when their women started to use this
