রেওয়ায়ত ৪৫. মালিক (রহঃ) বলেনঃ তাহার নিকট রেওয়ায়ত পৌছিয়াছে যে, মারওয়ান ইবন হাকাম (রাঃ)-এর শাসনকালে লোকের জন্য কিছু খাদ্যচেক ইস্যু করা হইল জার (جار) এর খাদ্য ভাণ্ডার হইতে। লোকেরা সেই সকল চেক অন্যদের নিকট বিক্রয় করিল খাদ্যশস্য কব্জা করার পূর্বে। তারপর যায়দ ইবন সাবিত (রাঃ) ও রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর জনৈক সাহাবী মারওয়ান ইবন হাকামের নিকট গেলেন। তাহারা উভয়ে বলিলেন, হে মারওয়ান। আপনি সুদী বিক্রয়কে হালাল জানেন? মারওয়ান বলিলেন, আউযুবিল্লাহ! কি ব্যাপার! তাহারা বলিলেন, এই দলীলগুলি লোকে বিক্রয় করিতেছে। অতঃপর (ক্রেতারা) উহা কজা করার পূর্বে বিক্রয় করিয়া দিতেছে। অতঃপর মারওয়ান শান্তিরক্ষক প্রেরণ করিলেন। তাহারা সব দলীল তালাশ করিয়া লোকের হাত হইতে লইয়া উহার মালিকদের নিকট ফেরত দিলেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that receipts were given to people in the time of Marwan ibn al-Hakam for the produce of the market at al-Jar. People bought and sold the receipts among themselves before they took delivery of the goods. Zayd Thabit and one of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, went to Marwan ibn al-Hakam and said, "Marwan! Do you make usury halal?" He said, "I seek refuge with Allah! What is that?" He said, "These receipts which people buy and sell before they take delivery of the goods." Marwan therefore sent a guard to follow them and to take them from people's hands and return them to their owners
রেওয়ায়ত ৪৪. নাফি' (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, হাকিম ইবন হিযাম (রাঃ) খাদ্যদ্রব্য ক্রয় করিলেন। উহা জনসাধারণের নিকট বিক্রয়ার্থে ক্রয় করার জন্য উমর (রাঃ) হুকুম দিয়াছিলেন। হাকিম ইবন হিযাম কব্জা করার পূর্বে সে খাদ্যদ্রব্য বিক্রয় করিলেন। উমর ইবন খাত্তাব (রাঃ)-এর নিকট সেই সংবাদ পৌছিলে তিনি সেই বিক্রয় বাতিল করিয়াছিলেন এবং বলিলেন, তোমার ক্রয়কৃত খাদ্যদ্রব্যকে কব্জা করার পূর্বে বিক্রয় করিও না।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Hakim ibn Hizam traded in food for people as Umar ibn al-Khattab had ordered him to do. Hakim re-sold the food before he had taken delivery of it. That reached Umar ibn al-Khattab and he revoked the sale and said, "Do not sell food which you have purchased until you take delivery of it
রেওয়ায়ত ৪৬. মালিক (রহঃ) বলেন, তাহার নিকট রেওয়ায়ত পৌছিয়াছে যে, এক ব্যক্তি ইচ্ছা করিল অন্য এক ব্যক্তি হইতে খাদ্যশস্য ধারে ক্রয় করিতে। যেই ব্যক্তি তাহার নিকট খাদ্যশস্য বিক্রয় করিতে মনস্থ করিয়াছে সে এই ব্যক্তিকে বাজারে লইয়া গেল। তারপর তাহাকে রূপ দেখাইতে লাগিল এবং তাহাকে বলিল, এই রূপসমূহের কোনটি হইতে আপনার নিকট বিক্রয় করিলে আপনি পছন্দ করিবেন? ক্রেতা বলিল, যেই বস্তু আপনার নিকট মওজুদ নাই আপনি সেই বস্তু আমার কাছে বিক্রয় করিবেন কি? তারপর তাহারা উভয়ে আবদুল্লাহ্ ইবন উমর (রাঃ)-এর নিকট আসিলেন। তাহার কাছে উভয়ে ঘটনা ব্যক্ত করিলেন। আবদুল্লাহ্ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) ক্রেতাকে বলিলেন, তুমি উহা হইতে তাহার নিকট মওজুদ নাই এইরূপ বস্তু ক্রয় করিও না, আর বিক্রেতাকে বলিলেন, তোমার নিকট যাহা মওজুদ নাই উহা বিক্রয় করিও না।
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that a man wanted to buy food from a man in advance. The man who wanted to sell the food to him went with him to the market, and he began to show him heaps, saying, "Which one would you like me to buy for you." The buyer said to him, "Are you selling me what you do not have?" So they came to Abdullah ibn Umarand mentioned that to him. Abdallah ibn Umar said to the buyer, "Do not buy from him what he does not have." He said to the seller, "Do not sell what you do not have
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ كُنَّا فِي زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَبْتَاعُ الطَّعَامَ فَيَبْعَثُ عَلَيْنَا مَنْ يَأْمُرُنَا بِانْتِقَالِهِ مِنَ الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي ابْتَعْنَاهُ فِيهِ إِلَى مَكَانٍ سِوَاهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ نَبِيعَهُ .
রেওয়ায়ত ৪৩. আবদুল্লাহ্ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর যুগে আমরা খাদ্যদ্রব্য ক্রয় করিলে তিনি আমাদের নিকট লোক পাঠাইতেন। প্রেরিত লোক আমাদিগকে ক্রয় স্থল হইতে খাদ্যদ্রব্য বিক্রয়ের পূর্বে অন্যত্র সরাইয়া ফেলার নির্দেশ দিতেন।
