রেওয়ায়ত ৪৩. মুআয ইবন জাবাল (রাঃ) বলিয়াছেনঃ জিহাদ দুই প্রকার। এক হইল যাহাতে একজন সর্বোত্তম সম্পদ ব্যয় করে। সাথীদের সহিত প্রেম-প্রীতির বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ হইয়া থাকে। সেনাধ্যক্ষের নির্দেশ পালন করে এবং বিশৃংখলা সৃষ্টি হইতে সে বাঁচিয়া থাকে। এই ধরনের জিহাদ সম্পূর্ণভাবে সওয়াবের। আরেক ধরনের জিহাদ হইল যাহাতে একজন উত্তম সম্পদ ব্যয় করে না, সঙ্গীদের সহিত প্রীতির সম্পর্ক রাখে না, সেনাধ্যক্ষের নির্দেশের অবাধ্যতা করে এবং বিশৃংখলা সৃষ্টি করা হইতে বিরত থাকে না। এই ধরনের জিহাদে সওয়াব লাভ হওয়া তো দূরের কথা, গুনাহ না লইয়া ফিরিয়া আসিতে পারাটাই অনেক মুশকিল।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that Muadh ibn Jabal said, "There are two military expeditions. There is one military expedition in which valuables are spent, the contributor is willing, the authorities are obeyed, and corruption is avoided. That military expedition is all good. There is a military expedition in which valuables are not spent, the contributor is not willing, the authorities are not obeyed, and corruption is not avoided. The one who fights in that military expedition does not return with reward
রেওয়ায়ত ৪২. ইয়াহইয়া ইবন সাঈদ (রহঃ) বর্ণনা করেন (বদরের যুদ্ধের সময়) রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সাহাবীদেরকে জিহাদের উৎসাহ দিতে যাইয়া জান্নাতের অবস্থা বর্ণনা করেন। এমন সময় জনৈক আনসার সাহাবী[1] যিনি কয়েকটি খেজুর হাতে নিয়া তখন খাইতেছিলেন, তিনি বলিয়া উঠিলেন, এই খেজুরগুলি খাইয়া শেষ করা পর্যন্ত যদি আমি অপেক্ষা করি তবে সত্যি আমি দুনিয়া লোভী বলিয়া প্রমাণিত হইব। শেষ পর্যন্ত বাকি খেজুরগুলি দূরে ছুড়িয়া ফেলিলেন এবং তলোয়ার হাতে নিয়ে লড়াইয়ের ভিড়ে ঢুকিয়া পড়িলেন এবং লড়াই করিতে করিতে শহীদ হইয়া গেলেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, stimulated people for jihad and mentioned the Garden. One of the Ansar was eating some dates in his hand, and said, "Am I so desirous of this world that I should sit until I finish them?" He threw aside what was in his hand and took his sword, and fought until he was slain
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْخَيْلُ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
রেওয়ায়ত ৪৪. আবদুল্লাহ্ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) বর্ণনা করেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিয়াছেনঃ ঘোড়ার কপালে কিয়ামত দিবস পর্যন্ত বরকত এবং মঙ্গল লিখিয়া দেওয়া হইয়াছে।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Blessing is in the forelocks of horses until the Day of Rising
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ أُحُدٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ يَأْتِينِي بِخَبَرِ سَعْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ الأَنْصَارِيِّ " . فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . فَذَهَبَ الرَّجُلُ يَطُوفُ بَيْنَ الْقَتْلَى فَقَالَ لَهُ سَعْدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ مَا شَأْنُكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ بَعَثَنِي إِلَيْكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لآتِيَهُ بِخَبَرِكَ . قَالَ فَاذْهَبْ إِلَيْهِ فَأَقْرِئْهُ مِنِّي السَّلاَمَ وَأَخْبِرْهُ أَنِّي قَدْ طُعِنْتُ اثْنَتَىْ عَشْرَةَ طَعْنَةً وَأَنِّي قَدْ أُنْفِذَتْ مَقَاتِلِي وَأَخْبِرْ قَوْمَكَ أَنَّهُ لاَ عُذْرَ لَهُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ إِنْ قُتِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَوَاحِدٌ مِنْهُمْ حَىٌّ .
রেওয়ায়ত ৪১. ইয়াহইয়া ইবন সাঈদ (রহঃ) বর্ণনা করেন, উহুদ যুদ্ধের দিন রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিলেনঃ সা'দ ইবন রবী ‘আনসারী (রাঃ)-এর খবর আমাকে কে আনিয়া দিতে পরিবে? এক ব্যক্তি উঠিয়া বলিলেনঃ হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আমি পারিব। এই ব্যক্তি সাদকে পড়িয়া থাকা লাশগুলির মধ্যে খুঁজিতে লাগিলেন। এক স্থানে গিয়া তাহাকে আহত হইয়া পড়িয়া থাকিতে দেখিতে পাইলেন। সা'দ বলিলেন, কি ব্যাপার? লোকটি বলিলেনঃ রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তালাশ করিয়া আপনার খবর নিয়া যাইতে আমাকে পাঠাইয়াছেন। সা'দ বলিলেনঃ রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামকে আমার সালাম দিবে। আমার এই শরীরে বারটি আঘাত লাগিয়াছে। প্রত্যেকটি আঘাতই মারাত্মক। তোমার সম্প্রদায়কে বলিবে, তোমাদের একজন জীবিত থাকিতেও যদি আল্লাহ না করুন রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম শহীদ হইয়া যান, তবে আল্লাহর দরবারে তোমাদের কোন ওযর ও জবাবদিহি কবূল হইবে না।
Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya ibn Said said, "On the Day of Uhud, The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'Who will bring me news of Sad ibn al-Rabi al-Ansari?' a man said, 'Me, Messenger of Allah!' So the man went around among the slain, and Sad ibn al-Rabi said to him, 'What are you doing?' The man said to him, 'The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent me to bring him news of you.' He said, 'Go to him, and give him my greetings, and tell him that I have been stabbed twelve times, and am mortally wounded. Tell your people that they will have no excuse with Allah if the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, is slain while one of them is still alive
