। আবদুল্লাহ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যার অন্তরে সরিষার দানা পরিমাণও (সামান্যতম) অহংকার আছে, সে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করতে পারবে না। আর যার অন্তরে সরিষার দানা পরিমাণও ঈমান আছে, সে জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে না।
It was narrated from ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“No one will enter Paradise who has pride in his heart equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and no one will enter Hell who has faith in his heart equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed.”
। আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি মজলিসে বসে প্রজ্ঞাপূর্ণ কথাগুলো গোপন রাখলো, সে এমন এক ব্যক্তির সাথে তুলনীয় যে কোন রাখালের নিকট গিয়ে বললো, হে রাখাল! তোমার পাল থেকে আমাকে একটি বকরী দাও। রাখাল বললো, তুমি যাও এবং তোমার পছন্দমত পালের মধ্যকার উত্তম বকরীটি নাও। কিন্তু সে গিয়ে বকরীর পালের (পাহারারত) কুকুরের কান ধরে নিয়ে এলো। ৫/৪১৭২(১) আবূ হাসান ইবনে সালামা-ইসমাঈল ইবনে ইবরাহীম-মূসা-হাম্মাদ (রাঃ) সূত্রে সামান্য শাব্দিক পার্থক্যসহ পূর্বোক্ত হাদীসের অনুরূপ বর্ণিত হয়েছে।
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“The likeness of the one who sits and listen to wisdom then only speaks of the bad things that he had heard, is that of a man who comes to a shepherd and says: “O shepherd, give me one of your sheep to slaughter,” and (the shepherd) says: “Go and grab the ear of the best of them.” Then he goes and grabs the ear of the sheepdog.’” Another chain reports a similar hadith
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنِ الأَغَرِّ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " يَقُولُ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ رِدَائِي وَالْعَظَمَةُ إِزَارِي مَنْ نَازَعَنِي وَاحِدًا مِنْهُمَا أَلْقَيْتُهُ فِي جَهَنَّمَ " .
। আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ মহান আল্লাহ বলেন, অহংকার আমার চাদর, মহানত্ব আমার লুঙ্গি। কেউ এ দু’টির কোন একটি নিয়ে আমার সাথে বিবাদ করলে, আমি তাকে জাহান্নামে নিক্ষেপ করবো।
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“Allah, the Glorified, says: ‘Pride is My cloak and greatness My robe, and whoever competes with Me with regard to either of them, I shall throw him into Hell.’”
। আবূ আইউব (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, এক ব্যক্তি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম -এর নিকট এসে বললো, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আমাকে সংক্ষেপে শিখিয়ে দিন। তিনি বলেনঃ যখন তুমি তোমার নামাযে দাঁড়াবে, তখন এমনভাবে নামায পড়ো, যেন এটাই তোমার শেষ নামায। তুমি এমন কথা বলো না, যার জন্য তোমাকে কৈফিয়ত দিতে হবে। আর মানুষের হাতে যা আছে তা থেকে নিরাশ হয়ে যাওয়ার ব্যাপারে দৃঢ় প্রতিজ্ঞ হও।
It was narrated that Abu Ayyub said:“A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, teach me but make it concise.’ He said: ‘When you stand to pray, pray like a man bidding farewell. Do not say anything for which you will have to apologize. And give up hope for what other people have.’”
