। হারিস ইবনে হাসসান (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি মদীনায় পৌঁছে দেখলাম, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম মিম্বারের উপর দাঁড়িয়ে আছেন এবং বিলাল (রাঃ) তার গলায় তরবারি ঝুলিয়ে তাঁর সামনে দন্ডায়মান। আরও ছিল একটি কালো পতাকা। আমি বললাম, এই লোক কে? লোকেরা বললো, আমর ইবনুল আস (রাঃ)। তিনি একটি যুদ্ধ থেকে ফিরে এসেছেন।
It was narrated that Harith bin Hassan said:“I came to Al-Madinah and saw the Prophet (ﷺ) standing on the pulpit, and Bilal standing in front of him, with his sword by his side, and (I saw) a black flag. I said: ‘Who is this?’ He said: ‘This is ‘Amr bin ‘As, who has just come back from a campaign.’”
। ইবনে ‘আব্বাস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম একদল লোকের নিকট দিয়ে যাচ্ছিলেন যারা তীরন্দাজী করছিল। তিনি বলেনঃ হে ইসমাঈলের বংশধর! তোমরা তীরন্দাজী করো। কেননা তোমাদের পিতা ছিলেন তীরন্দাজ।
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:“The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by some people who were shooting (arrows) and said: ‘Shoot, Banu Isma’il, for your father was an archer.’”
