। আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু মাসঊদ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আলিমরা যদি জ্ঞানার্জনের পর তা সংরক্ষণ করে এবং তা যোগ্য আলিমদের সামনে রেখে দেয়, তাহলে অবশ্যই তারা নিজ যুগের জনগণের নেতৃত্ব দিবে। কিন্তু তারা তা দুনিয়াদারদের নিকট পেশ করেছে পার্থিব স্বার্থ লাভের জন্য। ফলে তারা তাদের নিকট হেয় প্রতিপন্ন হয়েছে। আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু মাসঊদ হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেনঃ আমি তোমাদের নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছিঃ যে ব্যাক্তি তার সমস্ত চিন্তাকে একই চিন্তায় অর্থাৎ আখিরাতের চিন্তায় কেন্দ্রীভূত করেছে, আল্লাহ তার দুনিয়ার চিন্তার জন্য যথেষ্ট। অপর দিকে যে ব্যাক্তি যাবতীয় পার্থিব চিন্তায় নিমগ্ন থাকবে সে যে কোন উন্মুক্ত মাঠে ধ্বংস হোক, তাতে আল্লাহ্র কিছু আসে যায় না।
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud said:"If the people of knowledge had taken care of it and presented it only to those who cared for it, they would have become the leaders of their age by virtue of that. But they squandered it on the people of wealth and status in this world in order to gain some worldly benefit, so the people of wealth and status began to look down on them. I heard your Prophet say: 'Whoever focuses all his concerns on one issue, the concerns of the Hereafter, Allah will suffice him and spare him the worries of this world. But whoever wanders off in concern over different worldly issues, Allah will not care in which of these valleys he is destroyed.'" (Da'if) Another chain with similar wording
। আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তোমরা জুব্বুল হুযন থেকে আল্লাহ্র নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা কর। সাহাবীগণ জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, হে আল্লাহ্র রাসূল! জুব্বুল হুযন কী? তিনি বলেনঃ জাহান্নামের একটি উপত্যকা, যা থেকে বাঁচার জন্য জাহান্নাম দৈনিক চার শতবার আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করে। তারা বলেন, হে আল্লাহ্র রাসূল! তাতে কারা প্রবেশ করবে? তিনি বলেনঃ যারা প্রদর্শনেচ্ছার বশবর্তী হয়ে কাজ করে সেসব কুরআন পাঠকের জন্য তা তৈরি করা হয়েছে। যে সকল কুরআন পাঠক (বিশেষজ্ঞ) শাসক গোষ্ঠীর সাথে দেখা-সাক্ষাৎ করে তারা আল্লাহ্র কাছে সর্বাপেক্ষা নিকৃষ্ট ক্বারী। মুহারিবী (রহঃ) বলেন, এর দ্বারা যালিম ও অত্যাচারী শাসকদের বুঝানো হয়েছে। ৭/২৫৬ (১) আবূল হাসান-হাযিম ইবনু ইয়াহ্ইয়া- আবূ বাকর ইবনু আবূ শাইবাহ ও মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু নুমায়র-ইবনু নুমায়র-মুআবিয়াহ আন-নাসরী (রহঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি সিকাহ (নির্ভরযোগ্য) রাবী। তিনি এই সানাদে পূর্বোক্ত হাদীসের অনুরূপ বর্ণনা করেছেন। ৭/২৫৬ (২) ইব্রাহীম ইবনু নাসর- আবূ গাসসান ইবনু ইসমাঈল-আম্মার ইবনু সায়ফ- আবূ মুআয-মালিক ইবনু ইসমাঈল বলেন, আম্মার (রহঃ) বলেছেনঃ রাবী আবূ মুআয-এর পর মুহাম্মাদ ছিলেন নাকি আনাস ইবনু সীরীন ছিলেন তা আমি অবগত নই।
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Seek refuge with Allah from the pit of grief.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is the pit of grief?' He said: 'A valley in Hell from which Hell itself seeks refuge four hundred times each day.' It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, who will enter it?' He said: 'It has been prepared for reciters of the Qur'an who want to show off their deeds. The most hateful of reciters of the Qur'an to Allah are those who visit the rulers.'" حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ، وَأَبُو بَدْرٍ عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الْهُنَائِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الْهُنَائِيُّ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ دُرَيْكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَنْ طَلَبَ الْعِلْمَ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ أَوْ أَرَادَ بِهِ غَيْرَ اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
। ইবনু উমার (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ যে ব্যাক্তি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্যের (সন্তুষ্টি লাভের) জন্য জ্ঞানার্জন করে অথবা জ্ঞানার্জনের দ্বারা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্য কিছু লাভের ইচ্ছা করে, সে যেন জাহান্নামে তার বাসস্থান বানিয়ে নিল।
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that:The Prophet said: "Whoever seeks knowledge for a reason other than the sake of Allah, or intends it for a purpose other than for the sake of Allah, let him take his place in hell
। ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ আমার উম্মাতের কতক লোক ধর্মীয় জ্ঞান অর্জন করবে, তারা কুরআন পড়বে এবং বলবে, আমরা শাসকদের নিকট যাবো তাদের নিকট থেকে পার্থিব স্বার্থ প্রাপ্ত হবো এবং আমাদের দ্বীন থেকে তাদের সরিয়ে রাখবো। এরূপ কখনো হতে পারে না। যেমন কাঁটাদার গাছ থেকে ফল আহরণের সময় হাতে কাঁটা ফুটবেই, তদ্রূপ তারা তাদের কাছে গিয়ে গুনাহ থেকে বাঁচতে পারে না। মুহাম্মাদ ইবনুুস সাব্বাহ (রহঃ) বলেন, অর্থাৎ গুনাহ ব্যতীত তারা কিছুই লাভ করতে পারে না।
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that:The Prophet said: "There will be some people among my Ummah (nation) who will gain knowledge of the religion, and they will recite Qur'an, and will say: 'We come to the rulers so that we may have some share of their worldly wealth, and we will make sure that our religious commitment is not affected,' but that will not be the case. Just as nothing can be harvested from the Qatad except thorns, so nothing can be gained from being close to them except (sins).'"
