। আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তিন শ্রেণীর লোকের প্রত্যেককে সাহায্য করা আল্লাহর কর্তব্য (যদিও কোন কাজ তাঁর জন্য বাধ্যতামূলক নয়) আল্লাহর রাস্তায় জিহাদকারী, মুকাতাব চুক্তিবদ্ধ দাস যে তার চুক্তিকৃত অর্থ পরিশোধ করতে সংকল্পবদ্ধ এবং যে বিবাহকারী পূত-পবিত্র থাকতে ইচ্ছুক।
Abu Hurairah (ra) said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said "Three who's support is a right upon Allah:the warrior in the path of Allah, the mukatab seeking to fulfill (his manumission debt), and the one getting married seeking chastity
। জাবির ইবনে আবদুল্লাহ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের মাঝে জীবিত থাকা অবস্থায় আমরা আমাদের যুদ্ধবন্দিনী ক্রীতদাসী ও উম্মু ওয়ালাদ বিক্রয় করতাম। আমরা এটাকে দূষণীয় মনে করতাম না।
Jabir bin `Abdullah was heard to say:“We used to sell our slave women and the mothers of our children (Umahat Awaldina) when the Prophet (ﷺ) was still living among us, and we did not see anything wrong with that.”
। ‘আমর ইবনে শু‘আইব (রাঃ) থেকে পর্যায়ক্রমে তার পিতা ও তার দাদার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যে গোলাম এক শত উকিয়ার বিনিময়ে মুক্তিলাভ করতে চুক্তিবদ্ধ, দশ উকিয়া ব্যতীত বাকিটা পরিশোধ করতে পারলে সে আযাদ।
It was narrated from `Amr bin Shu'aib , from his father, from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“Any slave who has made a contract to buy his freedom for one hundread Uqiyyah and pays it all except ten Uqiyyah; he is still a slave.” (One Uqiyyah is equal to 40 Dirham)
। ইবনে আব্বাস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট (তাঁর পুত্র) ইবরাহীমের মা (মারিয়া কিবতিয়া) ‘র কথা উত্থাপিত হলে তিনি বলেনঃ তার সন্তান তাকে দাসত্বমুক্ত করেছে।
It was narrated that Ibn`Abbas said:“Mention was made of the mother of Ibrahim in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and he said: 'Her son set her free.'”
