। আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম একটি শিশুকে তার পিতা ও মাতার মধ্যে (যাকে ইচ্ছা গ্রহণ করার) এখতিয়ার দিয়ে বলেনঃ হে বৎস! এই তোমার মা এবং এই তোমার বাপ।
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that :the Prophet (ﷺ) gave a child the choice between his father and his mother (i.e., which parent to live with). He said: “O boy, this is your mother and this is your father.”
। ইবনে আব্বাস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। কুরাইশগণ এক জ্যোতিষী নারীর কাছে গিয়ে তাকে বললো, আমাদের মধ্যে মাকামে ইবরাহীমের মালিকের (ইবরাহীম আ) সাথে কার অধিক সদৃশ্য তা বলে দিন। সে বললো, তোমরা যদি এই নরম মাটির উপর দিয়ে একটি চাদর টেনে দেয়ার পর উক্ত মাটির উপর দিয়ে (নগ্নপদে) হেঁটে যাও তবে আমি তোমাদের তা বলতে পারবো। ইবনে আব্বাস (রাঃ) বলেন, অতঃপর তারা একটি চাদ টেনে নেয়ার পর ঐ মাটির উপর দিয়ে হেঁটে গেলো। অতঃপর সেই নারী রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর পদচিহৃ দেখিয়ে বললো, তোমাদের মধ্যে ইনিই তাঁর (ইবরাহীমের) সাথে অধিক সাদৃশ্যপূর্ণ। এই ঘটনার পর তারা আল্লাহর মর্জি বিশ বছর বা ততোধিক অপেক্ষা করলো। শেষে আল্লাহ তা‘আলা মুহাম্মাদ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে নবুয়াত দান করেন।
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that :the Quraish went to a sorceress and they said to her: “Tell us whose footprints most resemble those of the owner of Al-Maqam (the station of Ibrahim).” She said: “If you spread a piece of cloth over this soft earth and walk over it, I will tell you.” So they spread out a piece of cloth and the people walked over it. She saw the footprints of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: “This one most closely resembles him among you.” After that twenty years passed, of as long as Allah willed, then Allah sent Muhammad (ﷺ) (i.e., missioned him as the Prophet)
। আবদুল হামীদ ইবনে সালামা (রাঃ) থেকে তার পিতা ও দাদার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তার পিতা-মাতা নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সামনে (সন্তানের তত্তাবধানের ব্যাপারে) বিবাদ পেশ করে। তাদের একজন ছিল কাফের এবং অপরজন মুসলিম। তিনি সন্তানকে এখতিয়ার দিলে সে কাফেরের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হয়। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ হে আল্লাহ! তাকে হেদায়াত দান করুন। অতঃপর সে মুসলিমের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হয়। অতএব তিনি তাকে মুসলিমের সাথে থাকার ফয়সালা দেন।
It was narrated from 'Abdul-Hamid bin Salamah, from his father, from his grandfather, that :his parents referred their dispute to the Prophet (ﷺ), and one of them was a disbeliever. He (the Prophet (ﷺ)) said: “O Allah, guide him,” and he turned towards the Muslim, and he ruled that he should go with that parent
। আয়েশা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, একদিন রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম প্রফুল্ল মনে ঘরে প্রবেশ করে বলতে লাগলেনঃ হে আয়েশা! তুমি কি দেখোনি যে, মুজাযযায আল-মুদলিজী আমার ঘরে প্রবেশ করে উসামা ও যায়েদকে একটি চাদর মুড়ি দিয়ে তাদের মাথা ঢাকা ও পা বের করা অবস্থায় ঘুমন্ত দেখতে পেলো। সে বললো, এই পান্ডলোর কতক অপর কতক থেকে।
It was narrated that 'Aishah said:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came in one day looking happy, and said: 'O 'Aishah, did you not see that Mujazziz Al-Mudliji entered upon me and saw Usamah and Zaid. There was a blanket over them and their faces were covered but their feet were exposed, and he said: 'These feet belong to one another'.”
