وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { كَانَتِ اَلنُّفَسَاءُ تَقْعُدُ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -بَعْدَ نِفَاسِهَا أَرْبَعِينَ } رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ إِلَّا النَّسَائِيَّ, وَاللَّفْظُ لِأَبِي دَاوُد َ 1 .1 - ضعيف. رواه أبو داود (311)، والترمذي (139)، وابن ماجه (648)، وأحمد (6/300) وقال الترمذي: "غريب".
Narrated Narrated Umm Salamah (RAA):
During the lifetime of the Prophet (Peace be upon him) the women having bleeding after delivery (postnatal or puerperal blood) would refrain (from prayer) for forty days.
وَعَنْ مُعَاذٍ - رضى الله عنه - { أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -مَا يَحِلُّ لِلرَّجُلِ مِنِ اِمْرَأَتِهِ, وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ? قَالَ:
"مَا فَوْقَ اَلْإِزَارِ" } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَضَعَّفَه ُ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه أبو داود (213) وتضعيف أبي داود رحمه الله في محله، ولكنه ينصب على حديث معاذ، إذ إسناده ضعيف، وفيه زيادة وهي قوله: "والتعفف عن ذلك أفضل" وهي زيادة منكرة. وتصحيحي للحديث إنما هو للجملة التي ذكرها الحافظ فقط، إذ يوجد ما يشهد لها كما هو مذكور "بالأصل". والله أعلم.
Narrated Narrated Mu'adh Ibn Jabal (RAA):
He asked the Prophet (Peace be upon him), “What is lawful for a man regarding his wife when she is menstruating?" and he replied, "What is above the waist wrapper (Izar).”
وَفِي لَفْظٍ لَهُ: { وَلَمْ يَأْمُرْهَا اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -بِقَضَاءِ صَلَاةِ اَلنِّفَاسِ } وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلْحَاكِم ُ 1 .1 - ضعيف. كسابقه، وهو عند أبي داود (312)، والحاكم (175).
Narrated In another version of Abu Da’ud:
"The Prophet (Peace be upon him) did not command her to repeat the prayers (missed during the period of bleeding)."
When we came to a place called Sarif, I menstruated and the Prophet (Peace be upon him) told me, "You should perform all that a pilgrim would do, except circumambulation until you are pure (i.e. performed Ghusl)."
