Narrated Qais:
I heard Sa`id bin Zaid saying, "I have seen myself tied and forced by `Umar to leave Islam (Before `Umar himself embraced Islam). And if the mountain of Uhud were to collapse for the evil which you people had done to `Uthman, then Uhud would have the right to do so." (See Hadith No. 202, Vol)
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ الطَّائِفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " ثَلاَثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ وَجَدَ حَلاَوَةَ الإِيمَانِ أَنْ يَكُونَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا سِوَاهُمَا، وَأَنْ يُحِبَّ الْمَرْءَ لاَ يُحِبُّهُ إِلاَّ لِلَّهِ، وَأَنْ يَكْرَهَ أَنْ يَعُودَ فِي الْكُفْرِ، كَمَا يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُقْذَفَ فِي النَّارِ ".
আনাস ইবনু মালিক (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তিনটি জিনিস এমন যার মধ্যে সেগুলো পাওয়া যাবে, সে ঈমানের স্বাদ পাবে। ১. আল্লাহ্ ও তাঁর রাসূল তার কাছে আর সবকিছুর চেয়ে প্রিয় হওয়া। ২. কাউকে কেবল আল্লাহর জন্য ভালবাসা। ৩. জাহান্নামে নিক্ষিপ্ত হওয়াকে যেভাবে অপছন্দ করে, তেমনি পুনরায় কুফরীর দিকে ফিরে যাওয়াকে অপছন্দ করে। [১৬] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৬৪৫৯, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Anas:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever possesses the (following) three qualities will have the sweetness of faith (1): The one to whom Allah and His Apostle becomes dearer than anything else; (2) Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah's Sake; (3) who hates to revert to atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown into the Fire
তিনি বলেন, আমরা রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর কাছে কোন বিষয়ে অভিযোগ পেশ করলাম। তখন তিনি কা‘বা ঘরের ছায়ায় তাঁর চাদরকে বালিশ বানিয়ে বিশ্রাম নিচ্ছিলেন। আমরা বললাম, (আমাদের জন্য কি) সাহায্য চাইবেন না? আমাদের জন্য কি দু‘আ করবেন না? তিনি বললেনঃ তোমাদের আগের লোকদের মাঝে এমন ব্যক্তিও ছিল, যাকে ধরে নিয়ে তার জন্য যমীনে গর্ত করা হত। তারপর করাত এনে মাথায় আঘাত হেনে দু’ টুকরা করে ফেলা হত। লোহার শলাকা দিয়ে তার গোশত ও হাড্ডি খসানো হত। তা সত্বেও তাকে তার দ্বীন থেকে ফিরিয়ে রাখতে পারত না। আল্লাহর কসম! এ দ্বীন অবশ্যই পূর্ণতা লাভ করবে। এমন হবে যে সান‘আ থেকে হাযরামাওত পর্যন্ত ভ্রমণকারী ভ্রমণ করবে। অথচ সে আল্লাহ্ ছাড়া কাউকে ভয় করবে না এবং নিজের মেষ পালের জন্য বাঘের ভয় থাকবে, কিন্তু তোমরা তাড়াহুড়ো করছ। [৩৬১২] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৬৪৬১, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Khabbab bin Al-Art:
We complained to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (about our state) while he was leaning against his sheet cloak in the shade of the Ka`ba. We said, "Will you ask Allah to help us? Will you invoke Allah for us?" He said, "Among those who were before you a (believer) used to be seized and, a pit used to be dug for him and then he used to be placed in it. Then a saw used to be brought and put on his head which would be split into two halves. His flesh might be combed with iron combs and removed from his bones, yet, all that did not cause him to revert from his religion. By Allah! This religion (Islam) will be completed (and triumph) till a rider (traveler) goes from San`a' (the capital of Yemen) to Hadramout fearing nobody except Allah and the wolf lest it should trouble his sheep, but you are impatient." আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সালাতে দু‘আ করতেন। হে আল্লাহ্! আইয়াশ ইবনু আবূ রাবী‘আ, সালামাহ ইবনু হিশাম, ওয়ালীদ ইবনু ওয়ালীদকে মুক্তি দাও। হে আল্লাহ্! দুর্বল মু’মিনদেরকে মুক্তি দাও। হে আল্লাহ্! মুযার গোত্রের উপর তোমার পাঞ্জা কঠোর করে দাও এবং তাদের ওপর ইউসুফের দুর্ভিক্ষের বছরগুলোর মত বছর পাঠিয়ে দাও। [৭৯৭] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৬৪৫৮, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Abi Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to invoke Allah in his prayer, "O Allah! Save `Aiyash bin Abi Rabi`a and Salama bin Hisham and Al-Walid bin Al-Walid; O Allah! Save the weak among the believers; O Allah! Be hard upon the tribe of Mudar and inflict years (of famine) upon them like the (famine) years of Joseph
