حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ (إِنَّ قَدْرَ حَوْضِي كَمَا بَيْنَ أَيْلَةَ وَصَنْعَاءَ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ، وَإِنَّ فِيهِ مِنَ الأَبَارِيقِ كَعَدَدِ نُجُومِ السَّمَاءِ).
আনাস ইবনু মালিক (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ আমার হাউযের প্রশস্ততা হল আয়লা হতে ইয়ামানের সান‘আ নামক স্থানদ্বয়ের দূরত্বের সমান আর তার পানপাত্রগুলোর সংখ্যা আকাশের নক্ষত্ররাজির ন্যায়। [মুসলিম ৪৩/৯, হাঃ ২৩০৩] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৬১২৩, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The width of my Lake-Fount is equal to the distance between Aila (a town in Sham) and Sana' (the capital of Yemen) and it has as many (numerous) jugs as the number of stars of the sky
তিনি বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ আমার হাউযের প্রশস্ততা এক মাসের পথের সমান। তার পানি দুধের চেয়ে সাদা, তার ঘ্রাণ মিশক-এর চেয়ে বেশি সুগন্ধযুক্ত এবং তার পানপাত্রগুলো হবে আকাশের তারকার মত অধিক। তাত্থেকে যে পান করবে সে আর কক্ষনো পিপাসার্ত হবে না। (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৬১২২, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "My Lake-Fount is (so large that it takes) a month's journey to cross it. Its water is whiter than milk, and its smell is nicer than musk (a kind of Perfume), and its drinking cups are (as numerous) as the (number of) stars of the sky; and whoever drinks from it, will never be thirsty
তিনি বলেছেনঃ আমি জান্নাতে ভ্রমণ করছিলাম, এমন সময় এক ঝর্ণার কাছে এলে দেখি যে তার দু’ধারে ফাঁপা মুক্তার গম্বুজ রয়েছে। আমি বললাম, হে জিবরীল! এটা কী? তিনি বললেন, এটা ঐ কাউসার যা আপনার প্রতিপালক আপনাকে দান করেছেন। তার ঘ্রাণে অথবা মাটিতে ছিল উত্তম মানের মিশক এর সুগন্ধি। হুদ্বা (রহ.) সন্দেহ করেছেন। [৩৫৭০] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৬১২৪, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "While I was walking in Paradise (on the night of Mi'raj), I saw a river, on the two banks of which there were tents made of hollow pearls. I asked, "What is this, O Gabriel?' He said, 'That is the Kauthar which Your Lord has given to you.' Behold! Its scent or its mud was sharp smelling musk!" (The sub-narrator, Hudba is in doubt as to the correct expression)
তিনি বলেন, আল-কাউসার হচ্ছে অধিক বা অধিক কল্যাণ, যা আল্লাহ্ মুহাম্মাদ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে দান করেছেন। রাবী আবূ বিশ্র বলেন, আমি সা‘ঈদকে বললাম যে, লোকেরা তো ধারণা করে সেটি জান্নাতের একটা ঝর্ণা। তখন সা‘ঈদ বললেন, ওটা সেই ঝর্ণা যা জান্নাতের মাঝে রয়েছে। তার ভিতর আছে এমন কল্যাণ যা আল্লাহ্ তাঁকে প্রদান করেছেন। (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৬১২১, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
The word 'Al-Kauthar' means the abundant good which Allah gave to him (the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)). Abu Bishr said: I said to Sa`id, "Some people claim that it (Al-Kauthar) is a river in Paradise." Sa`id replied, "The river which is in Paradise is one item of that good which Allah has bestowed upon him (Muhammad)
