আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত যে, একবার এক ব্যক্তি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর খিদমাতে এসে বললঃ হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আমি তো ধ্বংস হয়ে গেছি। তিনি বললেনঃ ‘ওয়াইহাকা’ (আফসোস তোমার জন্য) এরপর সে বললঃ আমি রমাযানের মধ্যেই দিনের বেলায় আমার স্ত্রীর সাথে যৌন সঙ্গম করে ফেলেছি। তিনি বললেনঃ একটা গোলাম আযাদ করে দাও। সে বললঃ আমার কাছে তা নেই। তিনি বললেনঃ তাহলে তুমি এক নাগাড়ে দু’ মাস সওম পালন কর। সে বললঃ আমি এতেও অপারগ। তিনি বললেনঃ তবে তুমি ষাটজন মিসকীনকে খাওয়াও। লোকটি বললঃ আমি এটাও পারি না। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট এক ঝুড়ি খেজুর এলো। তখন তিনি বললেনঃ এটা নিয়ে যাও এবং সদাকাহ করে দাও। সে বললঃ হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! তা কি আমার পরিবার ছাড়া অন্যকে দেব? সেই সত্তার কসম! যাঁর হাতে আমার প্রাণ। মদিনার উভয় প্রান্তের মধ্যস্থলে আমার চেয়ে অভাবী আর কেউ নেই। তখন নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এমনভাবে হাসলেন, তাঁর পার্শ্বের ছেদন দন্ত পর্যন্ত প্রকাশ পেল। তিনি বললেনঃ তবে তুমিই নিয়ে যাও। [১৯৩৬] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫৭২৪, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন- ৫৬২০) যুহরি হতে ইউনুস এরকমই বর্ণনা করেছেন। যুহরি হতে ‘আবদুর রহমান বিন খালিদ ‘ওয়াইলাকা’ বলেছেন।
Narrated Abu Huraira:
A man came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I am ruined!" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Waihaka (May Allah be merciful to you) !" The man said, "I have done sexual intercourse with my wife while fasting in Ramadan." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Manumit a slave." The man said, " I cannot afford that. " The Prophet (ﷺ) said; "Then fast for two successive months." The man said, " I have no power to do so." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Then feed sixty poor persons." The man said, "I have nothing (to feed sixty persons). Later a basket full of dates were brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said (to the man), "Take it and give it in charity." The man said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Shall I give it to people other than my family? By Him in Whose Hand my life is, there is nobody poorer than me in the whole city of Medina." তিনি বলেনঃ একবার নিজ অধিকারভুক্ত কিছু মাল নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বণ্টন করে দিচ্ছিলেন। এমন সময় তামীম গোত্রের যুল খুয়াইসিরা নামক এক ব্যক্তি বলে উঠলঃ হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! ইনসাফ করুন। তখন তিনি বললেনঃ ওয়াইলাকা (তোমার অমঙ্গল হোক) আমি ইনসাফ না করলে আর কে ইনসাফ করবে? তখন ‘উমার (রাঃ) বললেনঃ আপনি আমাকে অনুমতি দিন, আমি এর গর্দান উড়িয়ে দেই। তিনি বললেনঃ না। কারণ, তার এমন কতকগুলো সঙ্গী আছে; যাদের সালাতের সামনে নিজেদের সালাতকে তুচ্ছ মনে করবে এবং তাদের সিয়ামের সামনে তোমাদের নিজেদের সিয়ামকে তুচ্ছ মনে করবে। তারা দ্বীন থেকে এমনভাবে বেরিয়ে যাবে, যেমন তীর শিকার ভেদ করে বেরিয়ে যায় ...... গোবর ও রক্তকে এমনভাবে অতিক্রম করে যায় যে তীরের অগ্রভাগ দেখলে তাতে কোন চিহ্ন পাওয়া যায় না, তার উপরিভাগে দেখলেও কোন চিহ্ন পাওয়া যায় না। তার কাঠামোতেও কোন চিহ্ন নেই। তার পাতির মধ্যেও কোন চিহ্ন নেই। এমন সময় তাদের আবির্ভাব হবে, যখন মুসলিমদের মধ্যে মতপার্থক্য দেখা দিবে। তাদের পরিচয় হলো, তাদের নেতা এমন এক ব্যক্তি হবে, যার একহাত স্ত্রীলোকের স্তনের মত অথবা পিত্তের মত কাঁপতে থাকবে। রাবী আবূ সা‘ঈদ (রাঃ) বলেন, আমি সাক্ষ্য দিয়ে বলছি যে, আমি নিশ্চয়ই নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে এ কথা শুনেছি এবং আরও সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছি যে, আমি নিজে ‘আলী (রাঃ)-এর সাথে ছিলাম যখন তিনি এ দলের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করছিলেন। তখন সে লোকটিকে যুদ্ধে নিহত লোকদের মধ্য থেকে তালাশ করে আনার পর তাকে ঠিক সেই হালাতেই পাওয়া গেল, যে হালাতের বর্ণনা নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম দিয়েছিলেন। [৩৩৪৪] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫৭২৩, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:
While the Prophet (ﷺ) was distributing (war booty etc.) one day, Dhul Khawaisira, a man from the tribe of Bani Tamim, said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Act justly." The Prophets said, "Woe to you! Who else would act justly if I did not act justly?" `Umar said (to the Prophet (ﷺ) ), "Allow me to chop his neck off." The Prophet said, "No, for he has companions (who are apparently so pious that) if anyone of (you compares his prayer with) their prayer, he will consider his prayer inferior to theirs, and similarly his fasting inferior to theirs, but they will desert Islam (go out of religion) as an arrow goes through the victim's body (games etc.) in which case if its Nasl is examined nothing will be seen thereon, and if its Nady is examined, nothing will be seen thereon, and if its Qudhadh is examined, nothing will be seen thereon, for the arrow has gone out too fast even for the excretions and blood to smear over it. Such people will come out at the time of difference among the (Muslim) people and the sign by which they will be recognized, will be a man whose one of the two hands will look like the breast of a woman or a lump of flesh moving loosely." Abu Sa`id added, "I testify that I heard that from the Prophet (ﷺ) and also testify that I was with `Ali when `Ali fought against those people. The man described by the Prophet was searched for among the killed, and was found, and he was exactly as the Prophet (ﷺ) had described him." (See Hadith No. 807, Vol)
একজন গ্রাম্য লোক এসে বললঃ হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আপনি আমাকে হিজরাতের বিষয়ে কিছু বলুন। তিনি বললেনঃ আফসোস তোমার প্রতি, হিজরাত তো খুব কঠিন কাজ। তোমার কি উট আছে? সে বললঃ হাঁ। তিনি জিজ্ঞেস করলেনঃ তুমি কি এর যাকাত দিয়ে থাক? লোকটি বললঃ হাঁ। তিনি বললেনঃ তবে তুমি সমুদ্রের ঐ পাশ থেকেই ‘আমল করে যাও। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তোমার ‘আমল এতটুকু কমিয়ে দিবেন না। (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫৭২৫ ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:
A bedouin said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Inform me about the emigration." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Waihaka (May Allah be merciful to you)! The question of emigration is a difficult one. Have you got some camels?" The bedouin said, "Yes." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do you pay their Zakat?" He said, "Yes." The Prophet said, "Go on doing like this from beyond the seas, for Allah will not let your deeds go in vain
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ أَثْنَى رَجُلٌ عَلَى رَجُلٍ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " وَيْلَكَ قَطَعْتَ عُنُقَ أَخِيكَ ـ ثَلاَثًا ـ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مَادِحًا لاَ مَحَالَةَ فَلْيَقُلْ أَحْسِبُ فُلاَنًا ـ وَاللَّهُ حَسِيبُهُ ـ وَلاَ أُزَكِّي عَلَى اللَّهِ أَحَدًا. إِنْ كَانَ يَعْلَمُ ".
আবূ বাকরাহ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেনঃ এক ব্যক্তি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সামনে অন্য জনের প্রশংসা করলো। তিনি বললেনঃ ‘ওয়াইলাকা’ (তোমার অমঙ্গল হোক) তুমি তো তোমার ভাই এর গর্দান কেটে দিয়েছ। তিনি এ কথাটি তিনবার বললেন। তিনি আরও বললেনঃ যদি তোমাদের কাউকে কারো প্রশংসা করতেই হয়, আর সে তার ব্যাপারে অবগত থাকে, তবে শুধু এতটুকু বলবে যে, আমি এ ব্যক্তি সম্পর্কে এ রকম ধারণা পোষণ করি। প্রকৃত হিসাব নিকাশের মালিক একমাত্র আল্লাহ। আর আমি নিশ্চিতভাবে আল্লাহর সামনে কারো পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করছি না। [২৬৬২] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫৭২২, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Abu Bakra:
A man praised another man in front of the Prophet. The Prophet (ﷺ) said thrice, "Wailaka (Woe on you) ! You have cut the neck of your brother!" The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "If it is indispensable for anyone of you to praise a person, then he should say, "I think that such-and-such person (is so-and-so), and Allah is the one who will take his accounts (as he knows his reality) and none can sanctify anybody before Allah (and that only if he knows well about that person)
