তিনি বলেন যে, মানুষের মধ্যে রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সঙ্গে চাল-চলনে, নীতিতে ও চরিত্রে, যার সবচেয়ে অধিক মিল ছিল, তিনি হলেন ইবনু উম্মু আব্দ। যখন তিনি নিজ ঘর থেকে বের হন, তখন থেকে ঘরে ফিরে আসা পর্যন্ত এ মিল দেখা যায়। তবে তিনি একা নিজ গৃহে কেমন ব্যবহার করেন, তা আমরা জানি না। [৩৭৬২] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫৬৫৮, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Hudhaifa:
From among the people, Ibn Um `Abd greatly resembled Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) in solemn gate and good appearance of piety and in calmness and sobriety from the time he goes out of his house till he returns to it. But we do not know how he behaves with his family when he is alone with them
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " رَأَيْتُ رَجُلَيْنِ أَتَيَانِي قَالاَ الَّذِي رَأَيْتَهُ يُشَقُّ شِدْقُهُ فَكَذَّابٌ يَكْذِبُ بِالْكَذْبَةِ تُحْمَلُ عَنْهُ حَتَّى تَبْلُغَ الآفَاقَ فَيُصْنَعُ بِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ".
সামুরাহ ইবনু জুনদুব (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ আমি আজ রাতে (স্বপ্নে), দু’জন লোককে দেখলাম। তারা বললঃ আপনি যে লোকটির গাল চিরে ফেলতে দেখলেন, সে বড়ই মিথ্যাচারী। সে এমন মিথ্যা বলত যে, দুনিয়ার সর্বত্র তা ছড়িয়ে দিত। ফলে, ক্বিয়ামাত (কিয়ামত) পর্যন্ত তার সাথে এ রকম ব্যবহার চলতে থাকবে। [৮৪৫] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫৬৫৭, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Samura bin Jundub:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I saw (in a dream), two men came to me." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) narrated the story (saying), "They said, 'The person, the one whose cheek you saw being torn away (from the mouth to the ear) was a liar and used to tell lies and the people would report those lies on his authority till they spread all over the world. So he will be punished like that till the Day of Resurrection
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُخَارِقٍ، سَمِعْتُ طَارِقًا، قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ، وَأَحْسَنَ الْهَدْىِ هَدْىُ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
‘আবদুল্লাহ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেনঃ উত্তম বাণী হলো আল্লাহর কিতাব। আর সবচেয়ে উত্তম পথ প্রদর্শন হলো, মুহাম্মাদ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর পথ প্রদর্শন। [৭২৭৭] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫৬৫৯, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Tariq:
`Abdullah said, "The best talk is Allah's Book (Qur'an), and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad
রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ মুনাফিকের চিহ্ন তিনটিঃ যখন সে কথা বলে, তখন মিথ্যা বলে, যখন সে ওয়াদা করে, তখন তা ভঙ্গ করে, আর যখন তার কাছে আমানত রাখা হয় সে তাতে খিয়ানাত করে। (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫৬৫৬, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The signs of a hypocrite are three: Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie; and whenever he promises, he breaks his promise; and whenever he is entrusted, he betrays (proves to be dishonest)
