তিনি বলেন, আমি জিজ্ঞেস করলামঃ হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! কোন্ গুনাহ সব হতে বড়? তিনি বললেনঃ কাউকে আল্লাহর সমকক্ষ গণ্য করা, অথচ তিনিই তোমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। তিনি বললেনঃ তারপরে কোনটি? নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ তোমার সাথে খাবে, এ আশঙ্কায় তোমার সন্তানকে হত্যা করা। [1] তিনি বললেনঃ তারপরে কোনটি? নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ তোমার প্রতিবেশীর স্ত্রীর সাথে যিনা করা। তখন নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর কথার সত্যতা প্রতিপন্ন করে অবতীর্ণ হলোঃ ‘‘আর যারা আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন ইলাহকে ডাকে না’’- (সূরা আল-ফুরক্বান (২৫/৬৮)। [৪৪৭৭] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫৫৬৬, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated `Abdullah:
I said 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Which sin is the greatest?" He said, "To set up a rival unto Allah, though He Alone created you." I said, "What next?" He said, "To kill your son lest he should share your food with you." I further asked, "What next?" He said, "To commit illegal sexual intercourse with the wife of your neighbor." And then Allah revealed as proof of the statement of the Prophet: 'Those who invoke not with Allah any other god)................. (to end of verse)
তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছিঃ আল্লাহ রহমতকে একশ‘ ভাগে বিভক্ত করেছেন। তার মধ্যে নিরানব্বই ভাগ তিনি নিজের কাছে সংরক্ষিত রেখেছেন। আর পৃথিবীতে একভাগ পাঠিয়েছেন। ঐ এক ভাগ পাওয়ার কারণেই সৃষ্ট জগত পরস্পরের প্রতি দয়া করে। এমনকি ঘোড়া তার বাচ্চার উপর থেকে পা উঠিয়ে নেয় এই আশঙ্কায় যে, সে ব্যথা পাবে। [৬৪২৯; মুসলিম ৪৯/৪, হাঃ ৬৪৬৯] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫৫৬৫, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Abu Huraira:
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, Allah divided Mercy into one hundred parts. He kept ninety nine parts with Him and sent down one part to the earth, and because of that, its one single part, His Creations are merciful to each other, so that even the mare lifts up its hoofs away from its baby animal, lest it should trample on it
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَضَعَ صَبِيًّا فِي حِجْرِهِ يُحَنِّكُهُ، فَبَالَ عَلَيْهِ، فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَأَتْبَعَهُ.
‘আয়িশাহ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম একটি শিশুকে নিজের কোলে উঠিয়ে নিলেন। তারপর তাকে তাহনীক [1] করালেন। শিশুটি তাঁর কোলে প্রস্রাব করে দিল। তখন তিনি পানি আনতে বললেন এবং তা প্রস্রাবের জায়গায়) ঢেলে দিলেন। [২২২] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫৫৬৭, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated `Aisha:
The Prophet (ﷺ) took a child in his lap for Tahnik (i.e. he chewed a date in his mouth and put its juice in the mouth of the child). The child urinated on him, so he asked for water and poured it over the place of the urine
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَدِمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَبْىٌ، فَإِذَا امْرَأَةٌ مِنَ السَّبْىِ قَدْ تَحْلُبُ ثَدْيَهَا تَسْقِي، إِذَا وَجَدَتْ صَبِيًّا فِي السَّبْىِ أَخَذَتْهُ فَأَلْصَقَتْهُ بِبَطْنِهَا وَأَرْضَعَتْهُ، فَقَالَ لَنَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَتَرَوْنَ هَذِهِ طَارِحَةً وَلَدَهَا فِي النَّارِ ". قُلْنَا لاَ وَهْىَ تَقْدِرُ عَلَى أَنْ لاَ تَطْرَحَهُ. فَقَالَ " اللَّهُ أَرْحَمُ بِعِبَادِهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ بِوَلَدِهَا ".
‘উমার ইবনু খাত্তাব (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, একবার নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট কতকগুলো বন্দী আসে। বন্দীদের মধ্যে একজন স্ত্রীলোক ছিল। তার স্তন ছিল দুধে পূর্ণ। সে বন্দীদের মধ্যে কোন শিশু পেলে তাকে কোলে তুলে নিত এবং দুধ পান করাত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের বললেনঃ তোমরা কি মনে কর এ স্ত্রীলোকটি তার সন্তানকে আগুনে ফেলে দিতে পারে? আমরা বললামঃ ফেলার ক্ষমতা রাখলেও সে কখনো ফেলবে না। তারপর তিনি বললেনঃ এ স্ত্রীলোকটি তার সন্তানের উপর যতটা দয়ালু, আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দার উপর তার চেয়েও বেশি দয়ালু। [মুসলিম ৪৯/৪, হাঃ ২৭৫৪] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫৫৬৪, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated `Umar bin Al-Khattab:
Some Sabi (i.e. war prisoners, children and woman only) were brought before the Prophet (ﷺ) and behold, a woman amongst them was milking her breasts to feed and whenever she found a child amongst the captives, she took it over her chest and nursed it (she had lost her child but later she found him) the Prophet said to us, "Do you think that this lady can throw her son in the fire?" We replied, "No, if she has the power not to throw it (in the fire)." The Prophet (ﷺ) then said, "Allah is more merciful to His slaves than this lady to her son
