খানসা বিনতে খিযাম আল আনসারিয়্যাহ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বর্ণনা করেন যে, যখন তিনি অকুমারী ছিলেন তখন তার পিতা তাকে বিয়ে দেন। এ বিয়ে তিনি অপছন্দ করলেন। এরপর তিনি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর কাছে আসলেন। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এ বিয়ে বাতিল করে দিলেন। [৫১৩৯, ৬৯৪৫, ৬৯৬৯] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৪৭৫৯, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Khansa bint Khidam Al-Ansariya:
that her father gave her in marriage when she was a matron and she disliked that marriage. So she went to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and he declared that marriage invalid

Narrated `Aisha:
I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! A virgin feels shy." He said, "Her consent is (expressed by) her silence

Narrated `Abdur-Rahman bin Yazid and Majammi bin Yazid:
The same ,Hadith above: A man called Khidam married a daughter of his (to somebody) against her consent. 'If you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphan girls then marry (other) women of your choice.' (4.3) And if somebody says to the guardian (of a woman), "Marry me to so-and-so," and the guardian remained silent or said to him, "What have you got?" And the other said, "I have so much and so much (Mahr)," or kept quiet, and then the guardian said, "I have married her to you," then the marriage is valid (legal). This narration was told by Sahl on the authority of the Prophet
আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) তাদের কাছে বর্ণনা করেন যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, কোন বিধবা নারীকে তার সম্মতি ব্যতীত বিয়ে দেয়া যাবে না এবং কুমারী মহিলাকে তার অনুমতি ছাড়া বিয়ে দিতে পারবে না। লোকেরা জিজ্ঞেস করল, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! কেমন করে তার অনুমতি নেয়া হবে। তিনি বললেন, তার চুপ থাকাটাই হচ্ছে তার অনুমতি। [1] [৬৯৭০; মুসলিম ১৬/৮, হাঃ ১৪১৯, আহমাদ ৯৬১১] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৪৭৫৭, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A matron should not be given in marriage except after consulting her; and a virgin should not be given in marriage except after her permission." The people asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! How can we know her permission?" He said, "Her silence (indicates her permission)
