তিনি বলেন, إِذْ هَمَّتْ طَائِفَتَانِ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ تَفْشَلَا وَاللهُ وَلِيُّهُمَا আয়াতটি আমাদের ব্যাপারেই অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে। তিনি বলেন, আমরা দু’দল বানী হারিসা আর বানী সালিমা। যেহেতু এ আয়াতে وَاللهُ وَلِيُّهُمَا -‘‘আল্লাহ উভয়ের অভিভাবক’’ উল্লেখ আছে, সেহেতু এটা অবতীর্ণ না হওয়া আমরা পছন্দ করতাম না। সুফ্ইয়ান (রহ.)-এর এক বর্ণনায় আছে وَمَا يَسُرُّنِيْ -‘আমাকে ভাল লাগেনি’। [৪০৫১] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৪১৯৭, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:
The Verse:--"When two parties from among you were about to lose heart, but Allah was their Protector," (3.122) was revealed concerning us, and we were the two parties, i.e. Banu Haritha and Banu Salama, and we do not wish (that it had not been revealed) or I would not have been pleased (if it had not been revealed), for Allah says:--"...Allah was their Protector
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة َ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ {كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ} قَالَ خَيْرَ النَّاسِ لِلنَّاسِ، تَأْتُونَ بِهِمْ فِي السَّلاَسِلِ فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ حَتَّى يَدْخُلُوا فِي الإِسْلاَمِ.
আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ আয়াত সম্পর্কে বলেন, মানুষের জন্য মানুষ কল্যাণকর তখনই হয় যখন তাদের গ্রীবাদেশে (আল্লাহর আনুগত্যের) শিকল লাগিয়ে নিয়ে আসে। অতঃপর তারা ইসলামে প্রবেশ করে। [৩০১০] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৪১৯৬, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Verse:--"You (true Muslims) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind." means, the best of peoples for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they embrace Islam
সালিম (রহ.) তার পিতা থেকে বর্ণনা করেন যে, তিনি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে শুনেছেন যে, তিনি ফজরের সালাতের শেষ রাকআতে রুকূ‘ থেকে মাথা তুলে ‘সামি‘আল্লাহু লিমান হামিদাহ্ (আল্লাহ তাঁর প্রশংসাকারীর প্রশংসা শোনেন। হে আমাদের প্রতিালক! তোমার জন্য সমস্ত প্রশংসা)’, ‘রব্বানা ওয়ালাকাল হামদ’ বলার পর এটা বলতেনঃ হে আল্লাহ! অমুক, অমুক এবং অমুককে লানত করুন। তখন আল্লাহ এ আয়াত অবতীর্ণ করলেনঃ لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ ..... فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُوْنَ ‘‘তিনি তাদের প্রতি ক্ষমাশীল হবেন অথবা তাদের শাস্তি দিবেন, এ বিষয়ে তোমার করণীয় কিছুই নেই। কারণ তারা যালিম।’’ ইসহাক ইবনু রাশিদ (রহ.) ইমাম যুহরী (রহ.) থেকে এটা বর্ণনা করেছেন। [৪০৬৯] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৪১৯৮, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Salim's father:
That he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) on raising his head from the bowing in the last rak`a in the Fajr prayer, saying, "O Allah, curse such-and-such person and such-and-such person, and such-and-such person," after saying, "Allah hears him who sends his praises to Him, O our Lord, all praise is for You." So Allah revealed:--"Not for you (O Muhammad) (but for Allah) is the decision, verily they are indeed wrongdoers
ব্যভিচার করেছে এমন এক পুরুষ ও এক মহিলা নিয়ে ইয়াহূদীগণ নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নিকটে উপস্থিত হল। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তাদের বললেন, তোমাদের ব্যভিচারীদেরকে তোমরা কীভাবে শাস্তি দাও? তারা বলল, আমরা তাদের দু’জনের চেহারা কালিমালিপ্ত করি এবং তাদের প্রহার করি। রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, তোমরা তাওরাতে কি প্রস্তর নিক্ষেপের বিধান পাও না? তারা বলল, আমরা তাতে এ ব্যাপারে কিছুই পাই না। তখন ‘আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু সালাম (রাঃ) তাদের বললেন, তোমরা মিথ্যা বলছ, তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও, তবে তাওরাত আন এবং তা পাঠ কর। এরপর তাওরাত পাঠের সময় তাদের তাওরাত-শিক্ষক প্রস্তর নিক্ষেপ সম্পর্কিত আয়াতের উপর স্বীয় হস্ত রেখে তার উপর নীচের অংশ পড়তে লাগল। রজমের কথা লিখা আয়াতটি পড়ছিল না। ‘আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু সালাম (রাঃ) তার হাতটি রজমের আয়াতের উপর থেকে সরিয়ে দিয়ে বললেন, এটা কী? যখন তারা এ অবস্থা দেখল তখন বলল, এটি রজমের আয়াত। অনন্তর রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তাদেরকে রজম করার নির্দেশ দিলেন এবং মসজিদের পার্শ্বে জানাযার স্থানের নিকটে উভয়কে ‘রজম’ করা হল। ইবনু ‘উমার (রাঃ) বলেন, আমি সেই পুরুষটিকে দেখলাম তার সঙ্গীনীর উপরে ঝুঁকে পড়ে তাকে প্রস্তরাঘাত থেকে বাঁচানোর চেষ্টা করছে। [১৩২৯] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৪১৯৫, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:
The Jews brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) a man and a woman from among them who had committed illegal sexual intercourse. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to them, "How do you usually punish the one amongst you who has committed illegal sexual intercourse?" They replied, "We blacken their faces with coal and beat them," He said, "Don't you find the order of Ar-Rajm (i.e. stoning to death) in the Torah?" They replied, "We do not find anything in it." `Abdullah bin Salam (after hearing this conversation) said to them. "You have told a lie! Bring here the Torah and recite it if you are truthful." (So the Jews brought the Torah). And the religious teacher who was teaching it to them, put his hand over the Verse of Ar- Rajm and started reading what was written above and below the place hidden with his hand, but he did not read the Verse of Ar-Rajm. `Abdullah bin Salam removed his (i.e. the teacher's) hand from the Verse of Ar-Rajm and said, "What is this?" So when the Jews saw that Verse, they said, "This is the Verse of Ar-Rajm." So the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered the two adulterers to be stoned to death, and they were stoned to death near the place where biers used to be placed near the Mosque. I saw her companion (i.e. the adulterer) bowing over her so as to protect her from the stones
