নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সালাত আদায় করলেন। রাবী ইব্রাহীম (রহ.) বলেনঃ আমার জানা নেই, তিনি বেশী করেছেন বা কম করেছেন। সালাম ফিরানোর পর তাঁকে বলা হলো, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! সালাতের মধ্যে নতুন কিছু হয়েছে কি? তিনি বললেনঃ তা কী? তাঁরা বললেনঃ আপনি তো এরূপ এরূপ সালাত আদায় করলেন। তিনি তখন তাঁর দু’পা ঘুরিয়ে ক্বিবলা (কিবলা/কেবলা)হমুখী হলেন। আর দু’টি সিজদা আদায় করলেন। অতঃপর সালাম ফিরলেন। পরে তিনি আমাদের দিকে ফিরে বললেনঃ যদি সালাত সম্পর্কে নতুন কিছু হতো, তবে অবশ্যই তোমাদের তা জানিয়ে দিতাম। কিন্তু আমি তো তোমাদের মত একজন মানুষ। তোমরা যেমন ভুল করে থাক, আমিও তোমাদের মত ভুলে যাই। আমি কোন সময় ভুলে গেলে তোমরা আমাকে স্মরণ করিয়ে দেবে। তোমাদের কেউ সালাত সম্বন্ধে সন্দেহে পতিত হলে সে যেন নিঃসন্দেহ হবার চেষ্টা করে এবং সে অনুযায়ী সালাত পূর্ণ করে। অতঃপর যেন সালাম ফিরিয়ে দু’টি সিজদা দেয়। (৪০৪, ১২২৬, ৬৬৭১, ৭২৪৯; মুসলিম ৫/১৯, হাঃ ৫৭২, ৪১৭৪ আহমাদ) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৩৮৬, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated `Abdullah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) prayed (and the sub-narrator Ibrahim said, "I do not know whether he prayed more or less than usual"), and when he had finished the prayers he was asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Has there been any change in the prayers?" He said, "What is it?' The people said, "You have prayed so much and so much." So the Prophet (ﷺ) bent his legs, faced the Qibla and performed two prostration's (of Sahu) and finished his prayers with Taslim (by turning his face to right and left saying: 'As-Salamu `Alaikum- Warahmat-ullah'). When he turned his face to us he said, "If there had been anything changed in the prayer, surely I would have informed you but I am a human being like you and liable to forget like you. So if I forget remind me and if anyone of you is doubtful about his prayer, he should follow what he thinks to be correct and complete his prayer accordingly and finish it and do two prostrations (of Sahu)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ حَيْثُ تَوَجَّهَتْ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ الْفَرِيضَةَ نَزَلَ فَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ.
জাবির ইবনু ‘আবদুল্লাহ (রাযি.) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেনঃ নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম নিজের সওয়ারীর উপর (নফল) সালাত আদায় করতেন- সওয়ারী তাঁকে নিয়ে যে দিকেই মুখ করত না কেন। কিন্তু যখন ফরজ সালাত আদায়ের ইচ্ছা করতেন, তখন নেমে পড়তেন এবং ক্বিবলা (কিবলা/কেবলা)মুখী হতেন। (১০৯৪, ১০৯৯, ৪১৪০) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৩৮৫, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Jabir:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to pray (optional, non-obligatory prayer) while riding on his mount (Rahila) wherever it turned, and whenever he wanted to pray the compulsory prayer he dismounted and prayed facing the Qibla
وَقَدْ سَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي رَكْعَتَيْ الظُّهْرِ وَأَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ بِوَجْهِهِ ثُمَّ أَتَمَّ مَا بَقِيَ. নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যুহরের দু’রাক‘আত সালাত আদায় করে সালাম ফিরিয়ে মুসল্লীগণের দিকে মুখ করলেন। অতঃপর বাকী সালাত পূর্ণ করলেন। ৪০২. আনাস ইবনু মালিক (রাযি.) হতে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, ‘উমার (রাযি.) বলেছেনঃ তিনটি বিষয়ে আমার অভিমত আল্লাহর ওয়াহীর সাথে সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ হয়েছে। আমি বলেছিলাম, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আমরা যদি মাকামে ইব্রাহীমকে সালাতের স্থান বানাতে পারতাম! তখন এ আয়াত নাযিল হয়ঃ ‘‘তোমরা মাকামে ইব্রাহীমকে সালাতের স্থান বানাও’’- (সূরাহ্ আল-বাক্বারাহ ২/১২৫)। (দ্বিতীয়) পর্দার আয়াত, আমি বললামঃ হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আপনি যদি আপনার সহধর্মিণীগণকে পর্দার আদেশ করতেন! কেননা, সৎ ও অসৎ সবাই তাঁদের সাথে কথা বলে। তখন পর্দার আয়াত নাযিল হয়। আর একবার নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম -এর সহধর্মিণীগণ অভিমান সহকারে একত্রে তাঁর নিকট উপস্থিত হন। তখন আমি তাঁদেরকে বললামঃ ‘‘আল্লাহর রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যদি তোমাদের ত্বলাক (তালাক) দেন, তাহলে তাঁর রব তাঁকে তোমাদের পরিবর্তে তোমাদের চেয়ে উত্তম অনুগত স্ত্রী দান করবেন’’- (সূরাহ্ তাহরীম ৬৬/৫)। তখন এ আয়াত অবতীর্ণ হয়। (৪৪৮৩, ৪৭৯০, ৪৯১৬) অপর সনদে হুমায়দ বলেন, আমি আনাস (রাযি.) হতে অনুরূপ শুনেছি। (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৩৮৭, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated `Umar (bin Al-Khattab):
My Lord agreed with me in three things: -1. I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), I wish we took the station of Abraham as our praying place (for some of our prayers). So came the Divine Inspiration: And take you (people) the station of Abraham as a place of prayer (for some of your prayers e.g. two rak`at of Tawaf of Ka`ba)". (2.125) -2. And as regards the (verse of) the veiling of the women, I said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I wish you ordered your wives to cover themselves from the men because good and bad ones talk to them.' So the verse of the veiling of the women was revealed. -3. Once the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) made a united front against the Prophet (ﷺ) and I said to them, 'It may be if he (the Prophet) divorced you, (all) that his Lord (Allah) will give him instead of you wives better than you.' So this verse (the same as I had said) was revealed
