তিনি বলেনঃ নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এক সফরে আমাদের পিছনে রয়ে গিয়েছিলেন, অতঃপর তিনি আমাদের নিকট পৌঁছে গেলেন। তখন আমরা আসরের সালাত শুরু করতে দেরী করে ফেলেছিলাম। তাই আমরা উযূ করছিলাম এবং (তাড়াতাড়ির কারণে) আমাদের পা মাসেহ করার মতো হালকাভাবে ধুয়ে নিচ্ছিলাম। তখন তিনি উচ্চৈস্বঃরে বললেনঃ ‘পায়ের গোড়ালিগুলোর জন্য জাহান্নামের শাস্তি রয়েছে।’ দু’বার অথবা তিনবার তিনি এ কথার পুনরাবৃত্তি করলেন। (৬০) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ১৫৯, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr:
The Prophet (ﷺ) remained behind us on a journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution for the `Asr prayer which was overdue and we were just passing wet hands over our feet (not washing them thoroughly) so he addressed us in a loud voice saying twice , "Save your heels from the fire
আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযি.) হতে বর্ণিত যে, আল্লাহর রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ যখন উযূ করে তখন সে যেন তার নাকে পানি দিয়ে ঝাড়ে। আর যে শৌচকার্য করে সে যেন বিজোড় সংখ্যায় ঢিলা ব্যবহার করে। আর তোমাদের কেউ যখন ঘুম থেকে জাগে তখন সে যেন উযূর পানিতে হাত ঢুকানোর পূর্বে তা ধুয়ে নেয়; কারণ তোমাদের কেউ জানে না যে, ঘুমন্ত অবস্থায় তার হাত কোথায় থাকে। (১৬১) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ১৫৮, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If anyone of you performs ablution he should put water in his nose and then blow it out and whoever cleans his private parts with stones should do so with odd numbers. And whoever wakes up from his sleep should wash his hands before putting them in the water for ablution, because nobody knows where his hands were during sleep
‘উসমান ইবনু ‘আফফান (রাযি.)-এর মুক্ত করা দাস হুমরান (রহ.) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি ‘উসমান (রাযি.)-কে উযূর পানি আনাতে দেখলেন। অতঃপর তিনি সে পাত্র হতে উভয় হাতের উপর পানি ঢেলে তা তিনবার ধুলেন। অতঃপর তাঁর ডান হাত পানিতে ঢুকালেন। অতঃপর কুলি করলেন এবং নাকে পানি দিয়ে নাক ঝাড়লেন। অতঃপর তাঁর মুখমন্ডল তিনবার এবং উভয় হাত কনুই পর্যন্ত তিনবার ধুলেন, অতঃপর মাথা মাসেহ করলেন। অতঃপর উভয় পা তিনবার ধোয়ার পর বললেনঃ আমি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম -কে আমার এ উযূর ন্যায় উযূ করতে দেখেছি এবং আল্লাহর রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ ‘যে ব্যক্তি আমার এ উযূর ন্যায় উযূ করে দু’রাক‘আত সালাত আদায় করবে এবং তার মধ্যে অন্য কোন চিন্তা মনে আনবে না, আল্লাহ্ তা‘আলা তার পূর্বকৃত সকল গুনাহ ক্ষমা করে দেবেন।’ (১৫৯) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ১৬০, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Humran:
(the freed slave of `Uthman bin `Affan) I saw `Uthman bin `Affan asking (for a tumbler of water) to perform ablution (and when it was brought) he poured water from it over his hands and washed them thrice and then put his right hand in the water container and rinsed his mouth and washed his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out. Then he washed his face thrice and (then) forearms up to the elbows thrice, then passed his wet hands over his head and then washed each foot thrice. After that `Uthman said, "I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) performing ablution like this of mine, and he said, 'If anyone performs ablution like that of mine and offers a two-rak`at prayer during which he does not think of anything else (not related to the present prayer) then his past sins will be forgiven
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو إِدْرِيسَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ " مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَلْيَسْتَنْثِرْ، وَمَنِ اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ ".
ذَكَرَهُ عُثْمَانُ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم. ‘উসমান (রাযি.), ‘আবদুল্লাহ্ ইবনু যায়দ (রাযি.) ও ইবনু ‘আব্বাস (রাযি.) নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম হতে এ কথা বর্ণনা করেছেন। ১৬১. আবূ ইদরিস (রহ.) হতে বর্ণিত। তিনি আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযি.)-কে বলতে শুনেছেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি উযূ করে সে যেন নাকে পানি দিয়ে নাক পরিষ্কার করে। আর যে শৌচকার্য করে সে যেন বিজোড় সংখ্যক ঢিলা ব্যবহার করে। (১৬২; মুসলিম ২/৮, হাঃ ২৩৭, আহমাদ ১০৭২৩) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ১৫৭, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
