حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ وَنَحْوِهِمَا مِنَ السُّوَرِ .
। জাবির ইবনু সামুরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যুহর ও ‘আসর সালাতে সূরাহ ‘‘ওয়াস-সামায়ি ওয়াত-ত্বারিক’’ এবং ‘‘ওয়াস-সামায়ি যাতিল-বুরূজ’’ এর অনুরূপ সূরাহ পড়তেন।[1] হাসান সহীহ।
Narrated Jabir ibn Samurah:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite in the noon and afternoon prayer: "By the Heaven and the Morning Star" (Surah 86) and "By the Heaven , holding mansions of the stars" (Surah 85) and similar surahs of equal length
। আবূ সাঈদ আল-খুদরী (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যুহর ও ‘আসর সালাতে কতক্ষণ দাঁড়িয়ে থাকতেন, আমরা তা নির্ণয় করেছি। আমরা নির্ণয় করি যে, তিনি যুহর সালাতে প্রথম দু‘ রাক‘আতে ত্রিশ আয়াত পড়ার পরিমান দাঁড়াতেন- যেমন সূরাহ ‘‘আলিফ লাম মীম আস্-সিজদা্’’ ইত্যাদি এবং শেষের দু‘ রাক‘আতে তিনি প্রথম দু‘ রাক‘আতের চেয়ে অর্ধেক পরিমাণ সময় দাঁড়াতেন। তিনি যুহরের শেষ দু‘ রাক‘আতে যতক্ষণ দাঁড়াতেন ‘আসরের প্রথম দু‘ রাক‘আতেও ততক্ষণ দাঁড়িয়ে থাকতেন। তিনি ‘আসরের শেষ দু‘ রাক‘আতে তার প্রথম দু‘ রাক‘আতে চেয়ে অর্ধেক পরিমাণ সময় দাঁড়াতেন।[1] সহীহ : মুসলিম।
Abu sa’id al Khudri said:We used to estimate how long the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood in the noon and the afternoon prayer, and we estimated that he stood in the first two rak’ahs of the noon prayer as long as it takes to recite thirty verses (of the Qur’an), such as A-L-M Tanzil al-Sajdah. And we estimated that he stood in the last two rak’ahs half the time he stood in the first two rak’ahs. We estimated that he stood in the first two rak’ahs of the afternoon prayer as long as he did in the last two at noon; and we estimated that he stood in the last two rak’ahs of the afternoon prayer half the time he did in first two
। জাবির ইবনু সামুরাহ (রাঃ) হতে। তিনি বলেন, সূর্য যখন পশ্চিম আকাশে ছেলে পড়ত, তখন রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যুহরের সালাত আদায় করতেন এবং তাতে সূরাহ ‘‘ওয়াল-লাইলি ইযা ইয়াগশা’’ এর অনুরূপ সূরাহ পড়তেন। তিনি ‘আসর ও অন্যান্য সালাতেও অনুরূপ সূরাহ পড়তেন। তবে তিনি ফজর সালাতে দীর্ঘ সূরাহ পড়তেন। [1] সহীহ : মুসলিম।
Jabir b. samurah said:When the sun declined, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) offered the noon prayer and recited surahs lie "By the night when it covers over" (92) and (recited similar surahs) in the afternoon prayer, and in the other prayers except the dawn prayer which he used to prolong
। জাবির ইবনু সামুরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, একবার ‘উমার (রাঃ) সা‘দ (রাঃ)-কে বলেন, লোকেরা আপনার প্রতিটি বিষয়ে অভিযোগ করেছে, এমনকি আপনার সালাত সম্পর্কেও। সা‘দ (রাঃ) বলেন, আমি সালাতের প্রথম দু‘ রাক‘আতে কিরাত দীর্ঘ করি এবং শেষের দু‘ রাক‘আতে কেবল সূরাহ ফাতিহা পাঠ করি। তিনি আরো বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর পিছনে যেভাবে সালাত আদায় করেছি- তার কোন ব্যতিক্রম করিনি। ‘উমার (রাঃ) বলেন, আপনার ব্যাপারে আমার ধারণাও তা-ই।[1] সহীহ : বুখরী ও মুসলিম।
Jabir b. Samurah reported:’Umar said to Sa’d: people complain against you for everything, even for prayer. He replied: I prolong the first two rak’ahs of prayer and make the last two rak’ahs brief; I do not fall short of following the prayer offered by the Messenger of Allah(May peace be upon him). He said: I think so about you
