। আল-বারাআ ইবনু আযিব (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাকে বলেছেনঃ যখন তুমি পবিত্র হয়ে বিছানায় বিশ্রাম নিবে তখন তোমার ডান হাত মাথার নীচে রাখবে। অতঃপর উপরের হাদীসের অনুরূপ বর্ণিত।[1] সহীহ।
Al-Bara b. Azib said :The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) said to me: when you go to bed while you are in the state of purification, lay your head on your right hand. He then mentioned the rest of the tradition in a similar manner as above
। আল বারাআ ইবনু আযিব (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, একদা রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাকে বললেনঃ যখন রাতে ঘুমানোর প্রস্তুতি নিবে তখন সালাতের উযুর ন্যায় উযু করে ডান কাতে শুয়ে বলবেঃ ‘‘হে আল্লাহ! আমি নিজেকে আপনার নিকট সমর্পণ করলাম ও আপনার অনুগত হলাম, আমার কাজ আপনার উপর ন্যস্ত করলাম, আমার পিঠ আপনার নিকট সোর্পদ করলাম এবং আপনার সাহায্যের প্রতি আমি ভরসা করলাম আপনার প্রতি আগ্রহে ও ভয়ে। আপনি ছাড়া অন্য কোথাও মুক্তি ও নিরাপত্তার স্থান নেই। আমি আপনার সেই কিতাবে বিশ্বাস করি যা আপনি আপনার প্রেরিত নবীর উপর অবতীর্ণ করেছেন’’ অতঃপর নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ অতঃপর (ঐ রাতে) যদি তোমার মৃত্যু হয় তাহলে তুমি ইসলামের উপরেই মারা গেলে। এটাই হবে তোমার সর্বশেষ কথা। আল বারাআ (রাঃ) বলেন, আমি বললাম, এটি আওড়াতে গিয়ে আমার মুখে ওয়াবিরাসূলিকাল্লাযি আরসালতা’ এসে গেলে তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) বললেনঃ না, বরং ‘‘ওয়া বিনাবিয়্যিকাল্লাযি আরসালতা।’’[1] সহীহ।
Al-Bara b. ‘Azib said :The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) said to me: When you go to your bed, perform ablution like the ablution for prayer, and then lie on your right side and say: O Allah I have handed over my face to thee, entrusted my affairs to thee, and committed my back to thee out of desire for and fear to thee. There is no refuge and no place of safety from thee except by having recource to thee. I believe in Thy Book which Thou hast sent down and in Thy prophet whom thou hast sent down. He said : If you die (that night), you would die in the true religion, and utter these words in the last of that you utter (other prayers). Al-Bara said : I said: I memorise them, and then I repeated, saying “and in Thy Apostle whom Thou hast sent”. He said : No, say : “and in Thy Prophet whom Thou hast sent
। আল-বারাআ (রাঃ) থেকে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সূত্রে উপরোক্ত হাদীস বর্ণিত। সুফিয়ান (রহঃ) বলেন, একজন বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, ‘তুমি পবিত্র হয়ে যখন তোমার বিছানায় আসো।’ অপর বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, ‘তুমি তোমার সালাতের উযুর মতো উযু করো।’ এভাবে হাদীসের বাকী বর্ণনা মু‘তামির বর্ণিত হাদীসের অর্থানুরূপ।[1] সহীহ।
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by al-Bara b. Azil from the prophet (May peace be upon him) to the same effect through a different chain of narrators. One transmitter said:when you go to your bed while you are in the state of purification. The other said: Perform ablution like the ablution for prayer. He then transmitted the tradition to the effect as Mu’tamir transmitted
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ سَوَاءٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْقُدَ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى تَحْتَ خَدِّهِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ " اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ " . ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ .
। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর স্ত্রী হাফসাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যখন শয়ন করতেন তখন তার ডান হাত গালের নীচে রেখে তিনবার বলতেনঃ ‘‘আল্লাহুম্মা কিন্নী আযাবাকা ইয়াওমা তাব‘আসু ইবাদাকা’’ (অর্থঃ হে আল্লাহ! আপনি যেদিন আপনার বান্দাদেরকে কবর থেকে উঠাবেন, সেদিন আমাকে আপনার আযাব থেকে রক্ষা করুন)।[1] সহীহ। তবে ‘তিনবার’ কথাটি বাদে।
Narrated Hafsah, Ummul Mu'minin:
When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wanted to go to sleep, he put his right hand under his cheek and would then say three times: O Allah, guard me from Thy punishment on the day when Thou raisest up Thy servants
