The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu Hurairah through a different chain from the prophet (May peace be upon him). A transmitter Sa’id b. Sa’id said:I know him that he traced this tradition back to the prophet (May peace be upon him). Abu Dawud said: Abu Nu’aim transmitted it from Musa b. Qais, from Muhammad b. Ajlan, from Sa’id, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, from the prophet (May peace be upon him)
। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, তোমার ভাইয়ের হাঁচির উত্তর তিনবার দিবে। এরপরও হাঁচি দিতে থাকলে তবে তার মস্তিষ্কে ঠান্ডা লেগেছে (তাই আর জবাব দিতে হবে না)।[1] হাসান মাওকুফ ও মারফু।
Narrated AbuHurayrah:
Respond three times to your brother when he sneezes, and if he sneezes more often, he has a cold in his head
। উবাইদ ইবনু রিফা‘আহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ হাঁচিদাতার উত্তর তিনবার দাও। এরপরও যদি সে হাঁচি দিতে থাকে তবে তোমার ইচ্ছা উত্তর দিতেও পারো আবার নাও দিতে পারো।[1] দুর্বল।
Narrated Ubayd ibn Rifa'ah az-Zuraqi:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Invoke a blessing on one who sneezes three times; (and if he sneezes more often), then if you wish to invoke a blessing on him, you may invoke, and if you wish (to stop), then stop
। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যদি কেউ হাঁচি দেয় তাহলে সে বলবেঃ আলহামদু লিল্লাহি আলা কুল্লি হাল (সর্বাবস্তায় সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর জন্য। আর তার ভাই অথবা সাথী বলবেঃ ইয়ারহামুকাল্লাহ।’ আর হাঁচিদাতা বলবেঃ ইয়াহদীকুমুল্লাহু ওয়া ইউসলিহু বালাকুম (আল্লাহ তোমাদের সঠিক পথ দেখান এবং তোমাদের সংশোধন করুন)।[1] সহীহ।
Abu Hurairah reported the prophet (May peace be upon him) as saying:When one of you sneezes, he should say: "Praise be to Allah in every circumstance," and his brother or his companion should say: "May Allah have mercy on you!" And he should then reply: "May Allah guide you and set right your affairs
