। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ অন্যায়ভাবে কোনো মুসলিমের মানসম্মানে আঘাত হানা কবীরাহ গুনাহের অন্তর্ভুক্ত এবং একবার গালি দেয়ার পরিবর্তে দু’ বার গালি দেয়াও কাবীরাহ গুনাহর অন্তর্ভুক্ত।[1] দুর্বল।
Narrated AbuHurayrah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The gravest sin is going to lengths in talking unjustly against a Muslim's honour, and it is a major sin to abuse twice for abusing once
। আনাস ইবনু মালিক (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ মি‘রাজের রাতে আমি এমন এক কওমের পাশ দিয়ে অতিক্রম করছিলাম যাদের নখগুলো তামার তৈরী এবং তা দিয়ে তারা অনবরত তাদের মুখমন্ডলে ও বুকে আচড় মারছে। আমি বললাম, হে জিবরীল! এরা কারা? তিনি বললেন, এরা সেসব লোক যারা মানুষের গোশত খেতো (গীবত করতো) এবং তাদের মানসম্মানে আঘাত হানতো।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: When I was taken up to heaven I passed by people who had nails of copper and were scratching their faces and their breasts. I said: Who are these people, Gabriel? He replied: They are those who were given to back biting and who aspersed people's honour. Abu Dawud said: Yahya b. 'Uthman has also transmitted it from Baqiyyah, there is no mention of Anas in it
। আয়িশাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বললাম, সাফিয়্যাহ (রাঃ)-এর ব্যাপারে আপনার জন্য এতটুকুই যে, সে এরূপ অর্থাৎ তিনি খাটো। তিনি বললেনঃ তুমি এমন একটি কথা বলেছ, যা সমুদ্রে মিশিয়ে দিলে তাতে সমুদ্রের পানি রং পাল্টে যাবে। আয়িশাহ (রাঃ) বলেন, আমি এক ব্যক্তিকে অঙ্গভঙ্গির মাধ্যমে নকল করলাম। তিনি বললেনঃ আমাকে এতো এতো সম্পদ দেয়া হলেও আমি কারো অনুকরণ পছন্দ করবো না।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin:
I said to the Prophet (ﷺ): It is enough for you in Safiyyah that she is such and such (the other version than Musaddad's has:) meaning that she was short-statured. He replied; You have said a word which would change the sea if it were mixed in it. She said: I imitated a man before him (out of disgrace). He said: I do not like that I imitate anyone even if I should get such and such
