। দিহয়া ইবনু খলীফা আল-কালবী (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নিকট কিছু মিসরীয় কাপতান কাপড় এলো। তিনি সেগুলো থেকে আমাকে একটি কাতান দিয়ে বললেনঃ এটাকে দু’ টুকরা করো। এক টুকরা কেটে জামা বানাবে এবং অপরটি তোমার স্ত্রীকে ওড়না বানাতে দিবে। তিনি ফিরে যাওয়ার সময় নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বললেনঃ তোমার স্ত্রীকে এর নীচের আর একটি কাপড় লাগিয়ে নিতে বলবে, যেন তার দেহের আকৃতি দেখা না যায়।[1] দুর্বল।
Narrated Dihyah ibn Khalifah al-Kalbi:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was brought some pieces of fine Egyptian linen and he gave me one and said: Divide it into two; cut one of the pieces into a shirt and give the other to your wife for veil. Then when he turned away, he said: And order your wife to wear a garment below it and not show her figure. Abu Dawud said: Yahya b. Ayyub transmitted it and said: 'Abbas b. 'Ubaid Allah b. 'Abbas
। উম্মু সালামাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। একদা নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তাঁর নিকট এলেন, এ সময় তিনি ঘোমটা দেয়া অবস্থায় ছিলেন। তিনি বললেন, একভাঁজে ঘোমটা দাও, দু’ ভাঁজে নয়, দু’ ভাঁজে নয়। ইমাম আবূ দাঊদ (রহঃ) বলেন, তাঁর এ কথার অর্থ হলো, তোমরা পুরুষদের পাগড়ীর মতো একাধিক ভাঁজ করবে না।[1] দুর্বল।
Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Mu'minin:
The Prophet (ﷺ) came to visit her when she was veiled, and said: use one fold and not two. Abu Dawud said: "Use one fold and not two" means: "Do not fold it like the turban of a man. Do not double it up manifolds
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حِينَ ذَكَرَ الإِزَارَ فَالْمَرْأَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ " تُرْخِي شِبْرًا " . قَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ إِذًا يَنْكَشِفُ عَنْهَا . قَالَ " فَذِرَاعًا لاَ تَزِيدُ عَلَيْهِ " .
। সাফিয়্যাহ বিনত আবূ উবাইদ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বর্ণনা করেন যে, একদা নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর স্ত্রী উম্মু সালামাহ (রাঃ) রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে প্রশ্ন করলেন, যখন তিনি পরিধেয় বস্ত্র সম্পর্কে আলোচনা করছিলেন হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! নারীদের ইযার ব্যবহারের বিধান কি? তিনি বললেনঃ তারা এক বিঘত নীচে পর্যন্ত ঝুলিয়ে পড়তে পারে। উম্মু সালামাহ (রাঃ) বলেন, এতেও তার কিছু অংশ খোলা থাকবে। তিনি বলেনঃ তবে এক হাত ঝুলিয়ে পড়বে; এর বেশী নয়।[1] সহীহ।
Safiyyah, daughter of AbuUbayd, said:When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) mentioned lower garment, Umm Salamah, wife of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), asked him: And a woman, Messenger of Allah? He replied: She may hang down a span. Umm Salamah said: Still it (foot) will be uncovered. He said: Then a forearm's length, nor exceeding it
। আমর ইবনু শু‘আইব (রহঃ) থেকে পর্যায়ক্রমে তার পিতা ও তার দাদার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ তোমাদের কেউ তার ক্রীতদাসীকে কৃতদাসের সাথে অথবা মজদুরের সাথে বিয়ে দিলে, সে তার (দাসীর) নাভির নীচে থেকে হাঁটুর উপর পর্যন্ত দেখবে না।[1] হাসান।
Narrated 'Amr b. Suh'aib:
On his father's authority, said that his grandfather reported the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When one of you marries his female servant to his slave or to his employee, he should not look at her private part below the navel and above the knees. Abu Dawud said: The correct name is Sawwad b. Dawud al-Muzani al-Sairafi (and not Dawud b. Sawwad as mentioned in the chain). The narrator waki' misunderstood it
