। জাবির ইবনু আব্দুল্লাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, একদা রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের এখানে এসে এক বিক্ষিপ্ত চুলওয়ালাকে দেখে বললেনঃ লোকটি কি তার চুলগুলো আচড়ানোর জন্য কিছু পায় না? তিনি ময়লা কাপড় পরিহিত অপর ব্যক্তিকে দেখে বলেনঃ লোকটি কি তার কাপড় ধোয়ার জন্য কিছু পায় না?[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) paid visit to us, and saw a dishevelled man whose hair was disordered. He said: Could this man not find something to make his hair lie down? He saw another man wearing dirty clothes and said: Could this man not find something to wash his garments with
। ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তোমরা সাদা পোশাক পরো, কেননা তা তোমাদের সর্বোত্ততম পোশাক। আর তোমাদের মৃতদেরকেও সাদা কাপড়ে কাফন দাও। আর তোমাদের উত্তম সুরমা হলো ‘ইসমিদ’ নামক সুরমা। কেননা তা দৃষ্টিশক্তি বৃদ্ধি করে এবং চোখের পাপড়িতে চুল গজায়।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Wear your white garments, for they are among your best garments, and shroud your dead in them. Among the best types of collyrium you use is antimony (ithmid) for it clears the vision and makes the hair sprout
। আবুল আহওয়াস (রহঃ) থেকে তার পিতার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, একদা আমি কম মূল্যের পোশাক পরে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নিকট আসলে তিনি বললেনঃ তোমার ধন-সম্পদ আছে কি? তিনি বললেনঃ হ্যাঁ। তিনি প্রশ্ন করলেনঃ কোন ধরণের সম্পদ? তিনি বললেন, আল্লাহ আমাকে উট, ছাগল, ঘোড়া ও দাস ইত্যাদি সম্পদ দিয়েছেন। তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) বলেনঃ যেহেতু আল্লাহ তোমাকে সম্পদশালী করেছেন, কাজেই আল্লাহ নেয়ামত ও অনুগ্রহের নিদর্শন তোমার মাঝে প্রকাশিত হওয়া উচিত।[1] সহীহ।
Abu al-Ahwas quoted his father saying:I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) wearing a poor garment and he said (to me): Have you any property? He replied: Yes. He asked: What kind is it? He said: Allah has given me camels. Sheep, horses and slaves. He then said: When Allah gives you property, let the mark of Allah's favour and honour to you be seen
। যায়িদ ইবনুল আসলাম (রহঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। ইবনু উমার (রাঃ) তার দাড়িতে পীত রঙের খেযাব লাগাতেন। এতে তার কাপড়েও ঐ রঙ লেগে যেতো। তাকে প্রশ্ন করা হলো, আপনি পীত রঙ ব্যবহার করেন কেন? তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে এ রঙ ব্যবহার করতে দেখেছি এবং তাঁর নিকট এর চেয়ে প্রিয় অন্য কোনো রঙ ছিলো না। তিনি দাড়িতে রঙ লাগানোর সময় তাঁর কাপড়ে, এমন কি পাগড়িতেও এ রঙ লেগে যেতো।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Zayd ibn Aslam:
Ibn Umar used to dye his beard with yellow colour so much so that his clothes were filled (dyed) with yellowness. He was asked: Why do you dye with yellow colour? He replied: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) dyeing with yellow colour, and nothing was dearer to him than it. He would dye all his clothes with it, even his turban
