। আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। একদা রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম টয়লেট থেকে বেরিয়ে এলে তাঁর সামনে খাবার উপস্থিত করা হলো। সাহাবীগণ বললেন, আপনার জন্য উযুর পানি নিয়ে আনবো কি? তিনি বললেনঃ আমাকে তো সালাতের জন্য উযু করার আদেশ দেয়া হয়েছে।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out from the privy and was presented to him. They (the people) asked: Should we bring you water for ablution? He replied: I have been commanded to perform ablution when I get up for prayer
। আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু উবাইদ ইবনু উমাইর (রহঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনুয যুবায়র (রাঃ)-এর সময় আমার পিতার সঙ্গে আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু উমার (রাঃ)-এর নিকট উপস্থিত ছিলাম। তখন আব্বাদ ইবনু আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনুয যুবায়র বললেন, আমরা শুনেছি, রাতের আহারকে সালাতের উপর (অর্থাৎ আগে খেয়ে নেয়ার) অগ্রাধিকার দেয়া হতো। আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু উমার (রাঃ) তাকে বললেন, তোমার জন্য দুঃখ হয়! তুমি কি মনে করেছে আগেকার লোকদের রাতের আহার তোমার পিতার রাতের আহারের অনুরূপ ছিলো?[1] সনদ হাসান।
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:
Abdullah ibn Ubaydullah ibn Umayr said: I was with my father in the time of Ibn az-Zubayr sitting beside Abdullah ibn Umar. Then Abbad ibn Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr said: We have heard that the evening meal is taken just before the night prayer. Thereupon Abdullah ibn Umar said: Woe to you! what was their evening meal? Do you think it was like the meal of your father?
। সালমান (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আম তাওরাতে পড়েছিঃ ‘‘খাবার শুরুর আগে উযু করার মধ্যেই খাবারের বরকত নিহিত।’’ আমি এ কথা নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নিকট বর্ণনা করলে তিনি বলেনঃ খাদ্য গ্রহণের আগে ও পরে উযু করার (হাত ধোয়ার) মধ্যে খাদ্যের বরকত নিহিত। সুফিয়ান (রহঃ) খাওয়ার পূর্বে উযু করা পছন্দ করতেন না। ইমাম আবূ দাঊদ (রহঃ) বলেন, হাদীসটি যঈফ।[1] দুর্বলঃ যঈফাহ (১৬৮), মিশকাত (৪২০৮)।
Narrated Salman al-Farsi:
I read in the Torah that the blessing of food consists in ablution before it. So I mentioned it to the Prophet (ﷺ). He said: The blessing of food consists in ablution before it and ablution after it. Sufyan disapproved of performing ablution before taking food. Abu Dawud said: It is weak
। জাবির ইবনু আব্দুল্লাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ খাবারের জন্য বা অন্য কোনো কারণে সালাতের জামা‘আত বিলম্বিত করা যাবে না।[1] দুর্বলঃ মিশকাত (১০৭১)।
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Prayer should not be postponed for taking meals nor for any other thing
