। ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। এক মহিলা সমুদ্রে ভ্রমণে গিয়ে মানত করলো, আল্লাহ যদি তাকে নিরাপদে ফেরার সুযোগ দিলে সে একমাস সওম পালন করবে। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাকে সমুদ্রে বিপদ থেকে মুক্তি দিলেন। কিন্তু সওম পালনের পূর্বেই সে মারা গেলো। তার মেয়ে অথবা বোন রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নিকট আসলে তিনি তাকে মৃতের পক্ষ থেকে সওম পালনের নির্দেশ দিলেন।
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
A woman made a voyage and vowed that she would fast one month if Allah made her reach her destination with peace and security. Allah made her reach her destination with security but she died before she could fast. Her daughter or sister (the narrator doubted) came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). So he commanded to fast on her behalf
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، : أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ، اسْتَفْتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ : إِنَّ أُمِّي مَاتَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا نَذْرٌ لَمْ تَقْضِهِ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اقْضِهِ عَنْهَا " .
। ‘আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। সা‘দ ইবনু উবাইদাহ (রাঃ) রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নিকট ফতোয়া জানতে চেয়ে বললেন, আমার মা মারা গেছেন, কিন্তু তার একটি মানত আছে যা তিনি পূরণ করে যেতে পারেননি। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ তুমি তার পক্ষ থেকে তা আদায় করো।
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
Sa'd b. 'Ubadah asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): My Mother has died and she could not fulfill her vow which she had taken. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Fulfill it on her behalf
। বুরাইদাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। এক মহিলা নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর কাছে এসে বললো, আমি আমার মাকে একটি দাসী দিয়েছিলাম। তিনি ঐ দাসী রেখে মারা গেছেন। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ ‘তুমি সওয়াব পেয়েছো এবং ঐ দাসী উত্তরাধিকার সূত্রে পুনরায় তোমার মালিকানায় ফিরে এসেছে।’ সে বললো, তিনি এক মাসের সওম বাকি রেখে মারা গেছেন। হাদীসের বাকি অংশ (উপরের) ‘আমর ইবনু আওন বর্ণিত হাদীসের অনুরূপ।
Narrated Buraidah:
A woman came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: I gave a slave girl to my mother, but she died and left the salve-girl. He said: Your reward became certain for you, and she (the slave-girl) returned to you as inheritance. She said: She died and one month's fast was due from her. He (the narrator) then mentioned the tradition similar to the one mentioned by 'Amr b. 'Awn
। ‘উমার ইবনু ‘আব্দুর রাহমান ইবনু আওফ (রহঃ) থেকে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর কতিপয় সাহাবীর সূত্রে উপরের হাদীসটি বর্ণিত হয়েছে। এতে রয়েছেঃ নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ ঐ সত্ত্বার শপথ! যিনি মুহাম্মাদকে সত্য দীনসহ পাঠিয়েছেন! তুমি এখানে তোমার মানতের সালাত আদায় করে নিলে এটা তোমার বাইতুল মুকাদ্দাসের সালাত আদায়ের জন্য যথেষ্ট হতো।
The tradition mentioned above (No.3299) has also been transmitted by Umar ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf on the authority of his father and the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ). This version has:"The Prophet (ﷺ) said: By Him Who sent Muhammad with truth, if you prayed here, this would be sufficient for you like the prayer in Jerusalem." Abu Dawud said: This tradition has also been transmitted by al-Ansari, from Ibn-Juraij. He said: Ja'far b. 'Umar and 'Amr b. Hayyah. He said: They transmitted from 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf and from the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ)
