। ইবনু আবযা (রহঃ) ‘আম্মার ইবনু ইয়াসির (রাঃ) সূত্রে উপরোক্ত হাদীস বর্ণনা করেন। তাতে রয়েছেঃ নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, হে ‘আম্মার! তোমার জন্য এতটুকুই যথেষ্ট- এই বলে তিনি তাঁর উভয় হাত মাটিতে মারলেন, তারপর এক হাত অপর হাতের উপর মারলেন। তারপর নিজের চেহারা এবং হাতের অর্ধেক পর্যন্ত মাসাহ্ করলেন। তবে মাটিতে একবার হাত মারায় হাতের কনুই পর্যন্ত মাসাহ্ করা যায়নি।[1] সহীহ : উভয় হাত ও কনুইদ্বয় উল্লেখ বাদে।
Ibn Abza reported on the authority of 'Ammar b. Yasir in this tradition as saying (from the Prophet):'Ammar, it would have been enough for you (to do) so. He then stuck only one stroke on the ground with both his hands; he then stuck one with the other; then wiped his face and both arms up to half the forearms and did not reach the elbows. Abu Dawud said: This is also transmitted by Waki' from al-A'mash from Salamah b. Kuhail from 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abza. It is also transmitted through a different chain by Jarir from al-A'mash from Salamah from Sa'id b. 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abza from his father
। ‘আবদুর রহমান ইবনু আবযা (রহঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি ‘উমার (রাঃ)-এর নিকট ছিলাম। এমন সময় এক ব্যক্তি তার নিকট এসে বলল, আমরা কোন (পানিবিহীন) জায়গায় এক-দুই মাস অবস্থান করে থাকি (সেখানে অপবিত্র হলে করণীয় কি?)। ‘উমার (রাঃ) বললেন, আমি তো পানি না পাওয়া পর্যন্ত সালাত আদায় করব না। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, তখন ‘আম্মার (রাঃ) বললেন, হে আমীরুল মু’মিনীন! আপনার কি ঐ ঘটনার কথা মনে নেই, যখন আমি ও আপনি উটের পালে ছিলাম। আমরা জুনুবী হয়ে গেলাম এবং আমি মাটিতে গড়াগড়ি দিলাম। আমরা নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নিকট এসে বিষয়টি জানালে তিনি বললেনঃ তোমাদের জন্য শুধু এতটুকুই যথেষ্ট ছিল- এই বলে তিনি মাটিতে উভয় হাত মেরে হাতে ফুঁ দিলেন। তারপর হাত দিয়ে মুখমন্ডল এবং উভয় হাতের অর্ধেক পর্যন্ত মুছলেন। ‘উমার (রাঃ) বললেন, হে ‘আম্মার! আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। তিনি বললেন, হে আমীরুল মু’মিনীন! আল্লাহর শপথ! আপনি চাইলে আমি আর কখনো তা বর্ণনা করব না। ‘উমার (রাঃ) বললেন, আল্লাহর শপথ! আমার উদ্দেশ্য এরূপ নয়, বরং তুমি চাইলে অবশ্যই তোমার বক্তব্যের স্বাধীনতা তোমাকে দিব।[1] সহীহ। তবে তার ‘উভয় হাতের অর্ধেক পর্যন্ত’- কথাটি বাদে। কেননা তা শায।
Abd al-Rahman b. Abza said:While I was with 'Umar, a man came to him and said: We live at a place (where water is not found) for a month or two (what should we do, if we are sexually defiled). 'Umar said: So far as I am concerned, I do not pray until I find water. 'Ammar said: Commanded of the faithful, do you not remember when I and you were among the camels (For tending them)? There we became sexually defiled. I rolled down on the ground. We then came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and I mentioned that to him. He said: It was enough for you to do so. Then he struck the ground with both his hands. He then blew over them and wiped his face and both hands by means of them up to half the arms. 'Umar said: 'Ammar, fear Allah. He said: Commander of the faithful, if you want, I will never narrate it. 'Umar said: Nay, by Allah, we shall turn you from that towards which you turned (i.e. you have your choice)
। ‘আম্মার (রাঃ) সূত্রে উপরোক্ত ঘটনা বর্ণিত হয়েছে। তাতে রয়েছেঃ নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তোমার জন্য এতটুকুই যথেষ্ট- এই বলে তিনি জমিনে হাত মেরে হাতে ফুঁ দিলেন। এরপর মুখমন্ডল এবং উভয় হাত মাসাহ্ করলেন। সালামাহ এতে সন্দেহ করেছেন। তিনি বলেন, তিনি কনুই পর্যন্ত হাত মাসাহ্ করেছেন নাকি কব্জি পর্যন্ত তা আমার জানা নেই।[1] সহীহ। সন্দেহ করার কথাটি বাদে। মাহফূয হচ্ছে(و كفيك) শব্দে। যেমন সামনে আসছে।
Ibn 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abza reported on the authority of his father this incident from 'Ammar. He said:This would have been enough for you, and the Prophet (ﷺ) struck the ground with his hand. He then blew it and wiped with it his face and hands. Being doubtful Salamah said: I do not know (whether he wiped) up to the elbows or the wrists
। শাকীক সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি ‘আব্দুল্লাহ এবং আবূ মুসা (রাঃ)-এর সামনে বসা ছিলাম। আবূ মুসা (রাঃ) বললেন, হে আবূ ‘আবদুর রহমান! যদি কারো উপর গোসল ফরয হয় এবং এক মাস পর্যন্ত পানি না পায়, তবে সে কি তায়াম্মুম করবে? ‘আব্দুল্লাহ (রাঃ) বললেন, হ্যাঁ, যদিও সে এক মাস পর্যন্ত পানি না পায়। আবূ মুসা (রাঃ) বললেন, তাহলে সূরাহ মায়িদার যে আয়াত রয়েছেঃ ‘‘তারপর তোমরা যদি পানি না পাও তাহলে পবিত্র মাটি দ্বারা তায়াম্মুম করো’’- এ ব্যাপারে কি বলবেন? ‘আব্দুল্লাহ (রাঃ) বললেন, লোকদের তায়াম্মুম করার সুযোগ দেয়া হলে তারা (অত্যধিক শীতের সময়) ঠান্ডা পানি ব্যবহার না করে তায়াম্মুম করা শুরু করে দিবে। আবূ মুসা (রাঃ) তাকে বললেন, এজন্যই তায়াম্মুম করা অপছন্দ করেন? তিনি বললেনঃ হ্যাঁ। আবূ মুসা (রাঃ) তাঁকে বললেন, আপনি কি ‘উমার (রাঃ)-কে উদ্দেশ্য করে বলা ‘আম্মার ইবনু ইয়াসির (রাঃ) বর্ণিত হাদীস শুনেননি? ‘আম্মার (রাঃ) বলেছিলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাকে কোন এক কাজে পাঠালেন। পথিমধ্যে আমি জুনুবী হয়ে গেলাম, কিন্তু পানি পেলাম না। তাই আমি মাটিতে গড়াগড়ি দিলাম যেরূপ চতুষ্পদ প্রাণী মাটিতে গড়াগড়ি দিয়ে থাকে। অতঃপর নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর কাছে এসে আমি তাঁকে বিষয়টি জানালাম। তিনি বললেনঃ তোমার জন্য এতটুকুই যথেষ্ট ছিল- এই বলে তিনি মাটিতে হাত মেরে তা ফুঁ দিয়ে ঝেড়ে ফেললেন। তারপর বাম হাত ডান হাতের উপর মারলেন। তারপর ডান হাত বাম হাতের উপর মারলেন- উভয় হাতের কব্জির উপর। তারপর মুখমন্ডল মাসাহ্ করলেন। ‘আব্দুল্লাহ (রাঃ) তাকে বললেনঃ আপনার কি জানা নেই যে, ‘উমার (রাঃ) ‘আম্মারের এ কথা গ্রহণ করেননি?[1] সহীহ : বুখারী ও মুসলিম।
Shaqiq said:While I was sitting between 'Abd Allah and Abu Musa, the latter said: Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, what do you think if a man becomes defiled (because of seminal omission) and does not find water for a month; should he not perform tayammum ? He replied: No, even if he does not find water for a month. Abu Musa then said: How will you do with the Qur'anic version (about tayammum) in the chapter al-Ma'idah which says: "... and you find no water, then go to clean, high ground" (5:6)? 'Abd Allah (b. Mas'ud) then said: If they (the people) are granted concession in this respect, they might perform tayammum with pure earth when water is cold. Abu Musa said: For this (reason) you forbade it ? He said: Yes. Abu Musa then said: Did you not hear what 'Ammar said to 'Umar ? (He said): The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent me on some errand. I had seminal emission and I did not find water. Therefore, I rolled on the ground just as an animal rolls down. I then came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and made a mention of that to him. He said: It would have been enough for you to do thus. Then he struck the ground with his hands and shook them off and then stuck the right hand with his left hand and his left hand with his right hand (and wiped) over his hands (up to the wrist) and wiped his face. 'Abd Allah then said to him: Did you not see that 'Umar was not satisfied with the statement of 'Ammar ?
