। বনূ সুলাইমের ইবনু সারিয়াহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, ‘আমরা নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর সাথে খায়বারে অবতরণ করলাম। তখন তাঁর সাথে সাহাবীও ছিলেন। খায়বার অঞ্চলের নেতা ছিলো দুষ্টস্বভাবের বিদ্রোহী ব্যক্তি। সে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর সামনে এসে বলরো, হে মুহাম্মাদ! আমাদের গাধাগুলোকে যাবাহ করা, আমাদের ফল খাওয়া এবং আমাদের নারীদের নির্যাতন করা কি তোমাদের জন্য বৈধ? একথা শুনে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম রাগান্বিত হলেন। তিনি ইবনু ‘আওফকে বললেনঃ তুমি ঘোড়ায় চড়ে ঘোষণা করোঃ ‘‘মু‘মিন ব্যক্তি ছাড়া কারো জন্য জান্নাত হালাল নয়; তোমরা সালাতের জন্য একত্র হও।’’ বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, সাহাবীগণ একত্র হলে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তাদেরকে নিয়ে সালাত আদায় করলেন; তারপর দাঁড়িয়ে বললেনঃ তোমাদের কেউ কি তার আসনে হেলান দিয়ে বসে এরূপ মত ব্যক্ত করবে যে, আল্লাহর এই কুরআনে যা আছে তা ব্যতীত আর কিছুই হারাম করেননি। সাবধান! আল্লাহর শপথ! নিশ্চয়ই আমি তোমাদেরকে কোনো কোনো বিষয়ে উপদেশ দিয়েছি। আমি তোমাদেরকে যা কিছু করার নির্দেশ দিয়েছি এবং যা থেকে বিরত থাকতে বলেছি তা কুরআনেরই অনুরূপ বা তার অতিরিক্ত। আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য আহলে কিতাবদের ঘরে তাদের অনুমতি ছাড়া প্রবেশ করা, তাদের নারীদের নির্যাতন করা এবং তাদের উপর ধার্যকৃত জিয্য়া তোমাদের প্রদান করলে তাদের ফল খাওয়া হালাল করেননি।
Narrated Al-Irbad ibn Sariyah as-Sulami:
We alighted with the Prophet (ﷺ) at Khaybar, and he had his companions with him. The chief of Khaybar was a defiant and abominable man. He came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: Is it proper for you, Muhammad, that you slaughter our donkeys, eat our fruit, and beat our women? The Prophet (ﷺ) became angry and said: Ibn Awf, ride your horse, and call loudly: Beware, Paradise is lawful only for a believer, and that they (the people) should gather for prayer. They gathered and the Prophet (ﷺ) led them in prayer, stood up and said: Does any of you, while reclining on his couch, imagine that Allah has prohibited only that which is to be found in this Qur'an? By Allah, I have preached, commanded and prohibited various matters as numerous as that which is found in the Qur'an, or more numerous. Allah has not permitted you to enter the houses of the people of the Book without permission, or beat their women, or eat their fruits when they give you that which is imposed on them
। বনূ সাক্বীকের হারব ইবনু উবাইদুল্লাহ ইবনু উমাইর (রাঃ) থেকে তার নানার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি (নানা) বনূ তাগলিবের লোক ছিলেন। তিনি বলেন, আমি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর কাছে এসে ইসলাম কবূল করি এবং তিনি আমাকে ইসলাম সম্পর্কে শিক্ষা দিলেন। আমার গোত্রের যারা ইসলাম গ্রহণ করবে তাদের কাছ থেকে কিভাবে যাকাত আদায় করবো তাও তিনি আমাকে শিখালেন। আমি তাঁর কাছে পুনরায় এসে বলি, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আপনি আমাকে যা কিছু শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন তার সবই মনে রেখেছি। তবে আমি সাদাকাহর বিধান মনে রাখতে পারিনি। আমি কি তাদের কাছ থেকে উশর নিবো? তিনি বললেনঃ না, উশর ধার্য হবে ইয়াহুদী-খৃষ্টানদের উপর।
Narrated A man of Banu Taghlib:
Harb ibn Ubaydullah ibn Umayr ath-Thaqafi told on the authority of his grandfather, a man of Banu Taghlib: I came to the Prophet (ﷺ), embraced Islam, and he taught me Islam. He also taught me how I should take sadaqah from my people who had become Muslim. I then returned to him and said: Messenger of Allah, I remembered whatever you taught me except the sadaqah. Should I levy tithe on them? He replied: No, tithes are to be levied on Christians and Jews
। জুহাইনাহ গোত্রের এক ব্যক্তির সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ সম্ভবত তোমরা এমন এক সম্প্রদায়ের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করে তাদের উপর বিজয়ী হবে যারা নিজেদের জীবন ও সন্তান রক্ষার্থে তোমাদেরকে তাদের সম্পদ দিয়ে দিবে। সাঈদ (রহঃ) বর্ণিত হাদীসে রয়েছে, তারা তোমাদের সাথে সন্ধি করবে। তোমরা তাদের কাছ থেকে দার্যকৃত মালের অধিক গ্রহণ করবে না। কারণ তোমাদের জন্য এরূপ সমীচীন নয়।
Narrated A man of Juhaynah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Probably you will fight with a people, you will dominate them, and they will save themselves and their children by their property. The version of Sa'id has You will then conclude peace with them. The agreed version goes: Then do no take anything from them more than that, for it is not proper for you
। ‘আতা (রহঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বাকর ইবনু ওয়াইল গোত্রের জনৈক ব্যক্তি থেকে শুনেছেন যিনি তার মামা থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন। তিনি বলেন, আমি বলি, হে আল্লাহ রাসূল! আমি কি আমার গোত্রের লোকদের নিকট থেকে উশর আদায় করবো? তিনি বললেনঃ উশর ইয়াহুদী ও খৃষ্টানদের উপর ধার্য হবে।
A man reported from Bakr bin Wa’il on the authority of his maternal uncle as saying, I said “Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) may I levy tithe on my people.?” He replied “Tithes are to be levied on Jews and Christians.”
