। আল-বারাআ ইবনু ‘আযিব (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, এক ব্যক্তি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নিকট এসে বললো, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! ‘‘লোকেরা তোমাকে কালালাহ সম্পর্কে ফতোয়া জিজ্ঞেস করে।’’ কালালাহ কি? তিনি বললেনঃ যে আয়াত গরমকালে অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে তাই তোমার জন্য যথেষ্ট (অর্থাৎ সূরা আন-নিসার ১৭৬ নং আয়াত)। আমি আবূ ইসহাককে বলি, ‘কালালাহ’ ঐ ব্যক্তিকে বলা হয় যে সন্তানহীন অবস্থায় মারা যায়। তিনি বললেন, হ্যাঁ, লোকদের ধারণা এরূপই।
Narrated Al-Bara' ibn Azib:
A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: Messenger of Allah, they ask thee for a legal decision about a kalalah. What is meant by kalalah? He replied: The verse revealed in summer is sufficient for you. I asked AbuIshaq: Does it mean a person who dies and leaves neither children nor father? He said: This is so. The people think it is so
। আল-বারাআ ইবনু ‘আযিব (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, ‘কালালাহ’ সম্পর্কিত আয়াত সবশেষে অবতীর্ণ হয়ঃ ‘‘লোকেরা তোমার কাছে ফতোয়া জিজ্ঞেস করে। বলো, আল্লাহ তোমাদের কালালাহ সম্পর্কের ফতোয়া দিচ্ছেন...।’’ (সূরা আন-নিসাঃ)
Narrated Al-Bara' bin 'Azib:
The last verse revealed about the decease who left no descendants or ascendants: "They ask thee for the legal decision. Say: Allah directs (thus) about those who leave no descendants or ascendants as heirs
। হুযাইল ইবনু শুরাহবীল আল-আওদী (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, এক ব্যক্তি আবূ মূসা আল-আশ‘আরী (রাঃ) ওসালমান ইবনু রবী‘আহ (রাঃ)-এর নিকট উপস্থিত হয়ে উভয়কে কন্যা, পুত্রের কন্যা ও সহোদর বোনের মীরাস সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করলো। তারা উভয়ে বললেন, মৃতের কন্যা অর্ধেক পাবে এবং সহোদর বোন অর্ধেক পাবে। তারা পুত্রের কন্যা (নাতনীকে) উত্তরাধিকার করেননি। (তারা বললেন) তুমি ইবনু মাসঊদ (রাঃ)-কে গিয়ে জিজ্ঞেস করতে পারো। হয় তো তিনিও আমাদের মতই বললেন। লোকটি তার নিকট এসে প্রশ্ন করলো এবং তাকে তাদের কথাও জানালো। তিনি বললেন, (যদি ঐরূপ অভিমত সমর্থন করি) তবে তো আমি পথভ্রষ্ট হবো এবং হিদায়াতপ্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকবো না। আমি এ বিষয়ে সেই ফায়সালাই দিবো যা রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম দিয়েছেন। মেয়ে পাবে অর্ধেক এবং পুত্রের কন্যা (নাতনী) পাবে ছয় ভাগের এক ভাগ যেন (উভয়টি মিলে) দুই-তৃতীয়াংশ পূর্ণ হয়। আর অবশিষ্ট (এক-তৃতীয়াংশ) অংশ পাবে সহোদর বোন।
Narrated Huzail b. Shurahbil al-Awadi:
A man came to Abu Musa al-Ash'ari and Salman b. Rabi'ah, and asked about a case where there were a daughter, a son's daughter and full sister. They replied: The daughter gets half and the full gets half. The son's daughter gets nothing. Go to Ibn Mas'ud and you will find that he agrees with me. So the man came to him and informed him about their opinion. He said: I would then be in error and not be one of those who are rightly guided. But I decide concerning the matter as the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did: The daughter gets half, and the son's daughter gets a share which complete thirds (i.e. gets a sixth), and what remain to the full sister
। জাবির (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়ি। তখন আমার অধীনে আমার সাতটি বোন ছিলো। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাকে দেখতে আসলেন। তিনি আমার মুখমন্ডলে ফুঁ দিলেন। আমি জ্ঞান ফিরে পেয়ে বলি, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আমি আমার বোনদের জন্য আমার সম্পত্তির দুই-তৃতীয়াংশ ওসিয়াত করবো কি? তিনি বললেনঃ তাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করো। আমি বললাম, তাহলে অর্ধেক? তিনি বললেনঃ তাদেরকে অনুগ্রহ করো। আমাকে ছেড়ে চলে যাবার সময় নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ হে জাবির! এ রোগে তুমি মারা যাবে বলে মনে হচ্ছে না। মহান আল্লাহ আয়াত অবতীর্ণ করেছেন এবং তোমার বোনদের বিষয়টি সুস্পষ্ট করে দিয়েছেন। তিনি তাদের জন্য তোমার সম্পত্তির দুই-তৃতীয়াংশ নির্ধারণ করেছেন। অধস্তন বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, জাবির (রাঃ) বলতেন, আমার ব্যাপারে এ আয়াত অবতীর্ণ হয়ঃ ‘‘লোকেরা তোমার কাছে ফতোয়া জিজ্ঞেস করে। বলো, আল্লাহ তোমাদের কালালাহ সম্পর্কের ফতোয়া দিচ্ছে...।’’ (সূরা আন-নিসাঃ ১৭৬।)
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah:
I fell ill, and I had seven sisters. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to me and blew on my face. So I became conscious. I said: Messenger of Allah, may I not bequeath one-third of my property to my sisters? He replied: Do good. I asked: Half? He replied: Do good. He then went out and left me, and said: I do not think, Jabir, you will die of this disease. Allah has revealed (verses) and described the share of your sisters. He appointed two-thirds for them. Jabir used to say: This verse was revealed about me: "They ask thee for a legal decision. Say: Allah directs (thus) about those who leave no descendants or ascendants as heirs
