। আবুল ‘আশরাআ (রহঃ) থেকে তার পিতার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি (পিতা) বলেন, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! যবাহ কি শুধু কণ্ঠনালী বা সিনার উপর করতে হবে? বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ যদি তুমি তার রানে (বল্লমের) আঘাত করতে পারলে তা তোমার জন্য যথেষ্ট। ইমাম আবূ দাঊদ (রহঃ) বলেন, এরূপ কেবল সংকটাপন্ন অবস্থা বা বন্য প্রাণীর বেলায় প্রযোজ্য। অন্যথায় নয়।
Narrated AbulUshara':
AbulUshara' reported on the authority of his father: He asked: Messenger of Allah, is the slaughtering to be done only in the upper part of the breast and the throat? The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) replied: If you pierced its thigh, it would serve you. Abu Dawud said: This is the way suitable for slaughtering an animal which has fallen into a well or runs loose
। ‘আদী ইবনু হাতিম (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি বললাম, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আমাদের কারো হাতে শিকার আসলে তখন কাছে ছুরি না থাকলে সে কি চকমকি পাথর ও লাঠির ধারালো পার্শ্ব দিয়ে তা যবাহ করবে, এ বিষয়ে আপনার অভিমত কি? তিনি বললেনঃ যেভাবে সম্ভব রক্ত প্রবাহিত করো এবং আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ করো।
Narrated Adi ibn Hatim:
I said: Messenger of Allah, tell me when one of us catches game and has no knife; may he slaughter with a flint and a splinter of stick. He said: Cause the blood to flow with whatever you like and mention Allah's name
। ইবনু ‘আব্বাস (রাঃ) ও আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তারা বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম শয়তানের নিয়মে যবাহ করতে নিষেধ করেছেন। ইবনু ঈসা বর্ণিত হাদীসে রয়েছেঃ ‘শারীতাতিশ শাইতান হলোঃ যবাহের সময় রগ না কেটে কেবল শরীরের চামড়া তুলে পশুকে রেখে দেয়া, ফলে অধিক কষ্ট পেয়ে পশুটি মারা যায়।
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
Ibn Isa added: (Ibn Abbas) and AbuHurayrah said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade the devil's sacrifice. AbuIsa added in his version: This refers to the slaughtered animal whose skin cut off, and is then left to die without its jugular veins being severed
। ‘আতা ইবনু ইয়াসার (রহঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বনূ হারিসাহর জনৈক ব্যক্তির সূত্রে বর্ণনা করেন, সে (লোকটি) উহুদ পাহাড়ের এক উপত্যকায় একটি মাদী উট চড়াচ্ছিল। এমতাবস্থায় উটটি মারা যাওয়ার উপক্রম হলে সে যবাহ করার জন্য কোনো অস্ত্র না পেয়ে একটি পেরেক নিয়ে উটের বুকের উপরের অংশে ঢুকিয়ে দিয়ে রক্ত প্রবাহিত করলো। পরে লোকটি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নিকট এসে বিষয়টি অবহিত করলে তিনি তাকে এর গোশত খাওয়ার অনুমতি দিলেন।

A man of Banu Harith was pasturing a pregnant she-camel in one of the ravines of Uhud, (he saw that) it was about to die; he could find nothing to slaughter it; he took a stake and stabbed it in the upper part of its breast until he made its blood flow. He then came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and informed him about that, and he ordered him to eat it
