। আয-যুহরী (রহঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমাকে ‘আমর ইবনু আবূ সুফিয়ান ইবনু উসাইদ ইবনু জারিয়া আস-সাকাফী এ হাদীস জানিয়েছেন। তিনি আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ)-এর সাথী ছিলেন। উল্লেখিত সনদে তিনি উপরের হাদীসের অনুরূপ বর্ণনা করেছেন।
Al Zuhri said “This tradition has been transmitted to me by ‘Amr bin Abu Sufyan bin Usaid bin Jariyat Al Thaqafi who was an ally of Banu Zuhrah and a companion of Abu Hurairah. He then narrated the tradition.”
। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ‘আসিম ইবনু সাবিতের নেতৃত্বে দশজনকে গুপ্তচর হিসেবে পাঠালেন। হুযাইল গোত্রের প্রায় একশো তীরন্দাজ তাদের মোকাবিলা করতে বের হলো। ‘আসিম (রাঃ) তাদের আগমন টের পেয়ে সাথীদের নিয়ে একটি টিলায় আত্মগোপন কররেন। শত্রুরা তাদেরকে বললো, তোমরা নেমে এসে আত্মসমর্পণ করো। ‘আমরা প্রতিশ্রুতি দিচ্ছি তোমাদের কাউকে হত্যা করবো না। ‘আসিম (রাঃ) বললেন, আমি কাফিরদের দেয়া নিরাপত্তা ওয়াদায় আমি টিলা থেকে নামবো না। তারা তীর ছুঁড়ে ‘আসিম (রাঃ)-সহ সাতজনকে শহীদ করলো। বাকী তিনজন কাফিরদের প্রতিশ্রুতির উপর নির্ভর করে টিলা থেকে নেমে আসেন। এ তিনজন হলেন খুবাইব (রাঃ), যায়িদ ইবনু দাসিনাহ (রাঃ) এবং আরেকজন (‘আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু তারিক)। কাফিররা তাদেরকে কাবূ করে ধনুকের রশি খুলে তা দিয়ে তাদেরকে শক্ত করে বাঁধলো। এ দেখে তৃতীয় জন বললেন, এটা তো বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা। আল্লাহর শপথ! আমি তোমাদের সঙ্গে যাবো না। আমি আমার (নিহত) সাথীদের সাথে মিলিত হওয়াই পছন্দ করি। কাফিররা তাঁকে টেনে-হিঁচড়ে নিতে চাইলে তিনি যেতে অস্বীকার করায় তারা তাকেও শহীদ করলো। খুবাইব (রাঃ) বন্দী অবস্থায় থাকলেন। কাফিররা তাকে হত্যার জন্য একত্র হলে খুবাইব (রাঃ) নাভীর নীচের চুল পরিষ্কার করার জন্য একটা ক্ষুর চেয়ে নিলেন। কাফিররা যখন তাকে হত্যা করার জন্য বের হলো, খুবাইব (রাঃ) তাদেরকে বললেন, আমাকে দু’ রাক‘আত সালাত আদায়ের সুযোগ দাও। অতঃপর তিনি বললেন, আল্লাহর শপথ! আমি যদি তোমাদের এরূপ ধারণা করার আশংকা না করতাম যে, আমি ভয় পেয়েছি, তাহলে আমি সালাত আরো দীর্ঘায়িত করতাম।
Abu Hurairah said “The Prophet (ﷺ) sent ten persons (on an expedition) and appointed ‘Asim bin Thabit their commander. About one hundred men of Hudhail who were archers came out to (attack) them. When ‘Asim felt their presence, they took cover in a hillock. They aid to them “Come down and surrender and we make a covenant and pact with you that we shall not kill any of you”. ‘Asim said “I do not come to the protection of a disbeliever. Then they shot them with arrows and killed ‘Asim in a company of seven persons. The other three persons came down to their covenant and pact. They were Khubaib, Zaid bin Al Lathnah and another man. When they overpowered them, they untied their bow strings and tied them with them”. The third person said “This is the first treachery. I swear by Allaah, I shall not accompany you. In them (my companions) is an example for me. They pulled him, but he refused to accompany them, so they killed him. Khubaib remained their captive until they agreed to kill him. He asked for a razor to shave his pubes. When they brought him outside to kill him. Khubaib said to them “Let me offer two rak’ahs of prayer”. He then said “I swear by Allaah, if you did not think that I did this out of fear. I would have increased (the number of rak’ahs)
। আল-বারাআ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম উহুদের যুদ্ধের দিন ‘আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু জুবাইর (রাঃ)-এর পঞ্চাশজন তীরন্দাজের নেতা নিযুক্ত করলেন। তিনি তাদেরকে সতর্কতামূলক বললেনঃ যদি তোমরা দেখো, পাখি আমাদের গোশত ছিঁড়ে খাচ্ছে, তবুও তোমাদেরকে ডেকে না পাঠানো পর্যন্ত তোমরা এ স্থান ত্যাগ করবে না। আর যদি দেখো, ‘আমরা শত্রুদের পরাজিত করেছি, তবুও ডেকে না পাঠানো পর্যন্ত তোমরা তোমাদের স্থান ত্যাগ করবে না। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, আল্লাহ মুশরিকদের পর্যুদস্ত করলেন। আল্লাহর শপথ! আমি দেখলাম, শত্রু পক্ষের নারীরা (পালানোর জন্য) পাহাড়ে উঠেছে। ‘আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু জুবায়র (রাঃ)-এর সাথীরা বললো, হে লোকেরা! গানীমাতের মাল সংগ্রহ করো। তোমাদের সাথীরা যুদ্ধে বিজয়ী হয়েছে। এখনও কিসের জন্য অপেক্ষা করছো? একথা শুনে ‘আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু জুবায়র (রাঃ) বললেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নির্দেশ কি তোমরা ভুলে গেছো? তারা বললো, আল্লাহর শপথ! ‘আমরা নিশ্চয়ই যাবো এবং গানীমাত সংগ্রহ করবো। তারা চলে গেলো। ফলে তাদের মুখের উপর মারা হলো এবং তারা পরাজিত হলো।
Al bara’ bin Azib said “On the day of the battle of Uhud the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) appointed ‘Abd Allaah bin Jubair commander of the archers who were fifty(in number). He said “If you see that the birds are snatching at us, do not move from this place of yours until I send for you and if you see that we defeated the people (the enemy) and trod them down, do not move until I send for you. Allaah then defeated them. He (narrator) said “I swear by Allaah, I saw women ascending the mountain. The companions of ‘Abd Allaah bin Jubair said “Booty, O People, booty! Your companions vanquished, for what are you waiting?” ‘Ad Allaah bin Jubair said “Have you forgotten what the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) had told you?” They said “We swear by Allaah. We shall come to the people and get the booty. So they came to them. Their faces were turned and they came defeated.”
। জাবির ইবনু আতীক (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলতেনঃ আল্লাহ এক প্রকার আত্মমর্যাদা পছন্দ করেন, এবং আরেক প্রকার আত্মমর্যাদা তিনি ঘৃণা করেন। মহান আল্লাহ যেটা অপছন্দ করেন তা হলো, সন্দেহজনক বিষয় বর্জনের আত্মসম্মানবোধ। সন্দেহজনক বিষয় ব্যতীত অন্য ক্ষেত্রে আত্মসম্মানবোধ প্রদর্শনকে আল্লাহ ঘৃণা করেন। অনুরূপভাবে এক প্রকার অহংকার প্রদর্শনকে আল্লাহ অপছন্দ করেন, আর এক প্রকার অহংকারকে পছন্দ করেন। আল্লাহ যে অহংকার প্রদর্শন পছন্দ করেন তা হলো, যুদ্ধক্ষেত্রে শত্রুর মোকাবিলায় অহংকার প্রদর্শন করা (যেন দুশমন ভয় পায়) এবং সাদাকাহ দেয়ার সময় নিজেকে গৌরবান্বিত মনে করা। মহান আল্লাহ যেরূপ অহংকারকে ঘৃণা করেন তা হলো, যুলম-অত্যাচার ও বিদ্রোহমূলক কাজে অহংকার প্রদর্শন করা। বর্ণনাকারী মূসা স্বীয় বর্ণনায় খুয়ালা শব্দের পর ফাখর (অহংকার) শব্দ উল্লেখ করেছেন।
Narrated Jabir ibn Atik:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: There is jealousy which Allah loves and jealousy which Allah hates. That which Allah loves is jealousy regarding a matter of doubt, and that which Allah hates is jealousy regarding something which is not doubtful. There is pride which Allah hates and pride which Allah loves. That which Allah loves is a man's pride when fighting and when giving sadaqah and that which Allah hates is pride shown by oppression.
