। দামরাহ ইবনু যুগব আল-ইয়াদী (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, একদা ‘আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু হাওয়ালা আল-আযদী (রাঃ) আমার মেহমান হলেন। তিনি আমাকে বললেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম একটি পদাতিক বাহিনীকে গানীমাত লাভের উদ্দেশ্যে যুদ্ধে প্রেরণ করলেন। ‘আমরা ফিরে এলাম, অথচ কোনো গানীমাত পেলাম না। তিনি আমাদের চেহারায় ক্লান্তির ছাপ লক্ষ্য করলেন। তিনি আমাদের মাঝে দাঁড়িয়ে বললেনঃ ‘‘হে আল্লাহ! তাদের ক্লান্তি দূর করতে তাদেরকে আমার দিকে সোপর্দ করো না। এবং তাদেরকে তাদের দিকেও সোপর্দ করো না, তাহলে লোকেরা তাদের উপর প্রভাব বিস্তারের সুযোগ পাবে।’’ (ইবনু হাওয়ালা বলেন), এরপর তিনি আমার মাথা বা মাথার তালুতে হাত রেখে বললেনঃ হে ইবনু হাওয়ালা! যখন তুমি দেখবে যে, বাইতুল মাকদিসে (সিরিয়ার) ভূমিতে খিলাফাত প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে, তখন মনে করবে অধিক ভূমিকম্প, বিপদ-আপদ, মহা দূর্ঘটনা ও পেরেশানী সন্নিকটে। কিয়ামত তখন মানুষের এতই নিকটবর্তী হবে, যেমন আমার এ হাত তোমার মাথার যত নিকটে রয়েছে।
Narrated Abdullah ibn Hawalah al-Azdi:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent us on foot to get spoil, but we returned without getting any. When he saw the signs of distress on our faces, he stood up on our faces and said: O Allah, do not put them under my care, for I would be too weak to care for them; do not put them in care of themselves, for they would be incapable of that, and do not put them in the care of men, for they would choose the best things for themselves. He then placed his hand on my head and said: Ibn Hawalah, when you see the caliphate has settled in the holy land, earthquakes, sorrows and serious matters will have drawn near and on that day the Last Hour will be nearer to mankind than this hand of mine is to your head. । জাবির ইবনু ‘আব্দুল্লাহ (রাঃ) রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর সূত্রে বর্ণনা করেন, একদা তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) যুদ্ধে বের হওয়ার সময় বললেনঃ ‘হে মুহাজির ও আনসার সম্প্রদায়! তোমাদের ভাইদের মধ্যে এমন কিছু লোকও রয়েছে, যাদের যুদ্ধে খরচ করার নিজস্ব আর্থিক সামর্থ্য নেই এবং তাদেরকে সহযোগিতা করার মতো কোনো আত্মীয়-স্বজনও নেই। তোমাদের প্রত্যেকের উচিত নিজ (বাহন ও আহারে) তাদের দু’ কিংবা তিনজনকে শামিল করে নেয়া।’ তখন আমাদের কারো সাথে একের অধিক মালবাহী সাওয়ারী ছিলো না, পালা করা ছাড়া কোনো বিকল্প ছিলো না। জাবির (রাঃ) বলেন, অতঃপর আমি তাদের দু’ বা তিনজনকে আমার সঙ্গে মিলিয়ে নিলাম। জাবির বলেন, আমার মাত্র একটি উট ছিলো। ‘আমিও অন্যদের মতো তাতে পালা করে আরোহন করি।
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah:
Once the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) intended to go on an expedition. He said: O group of the emigrants (Muhajirun) and the helpers (Ansar), among your brethren there are people who have neither property nor family. So one of you should take with him two or three persons; with me. I also rode on my camel by turns like one of them
। ‘আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু মাসঊদ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ আমাদের মহান রব ঐ ব্যক্তির প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হবেন, যে মহান আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদে লিপ্ত হয়েছে। তার সাথীরা পালিয়ে গেছে, কিন্তু সে জানতে পারলো তার উপর আল্লাহর হক রয়েছে। কাজেই সে পুনরায় (যুদ্ধের ময়দানে) ফিরে গেলো। অতঃপর তার রক্ত বয়ে দিয়ে শহীদ হলো। মহান আল্লাহ তাঁর ফিরিশতাদের বলেন, আমার বান্দার দিকে তাকিয়ে দেখো, সে আমার কাছে সাওয়াবের আশা নিয়ে এবং আমার ‘আযাবকে ভয় করে (যুদ্ধের ময়দানে) ফিরে গিয়ে নিজের রক্ত প্রবাহিত করেছে।
Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Our Lord Most High is pleased with a man who fights in the path of Allah, the Exalted; then his companions fled away (i.e. retreated). But he knew that it was a sin (to flee away from the battlefield), so he returned, and his blood was shed. Thereupon Allah, the Exalted, says to His angels: Look at My servant; he returned seeking what I have for him (i.e. the reward), and fearing (the punishment) I have, until his blood was shed
। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ প্রত্যেক শাসকের নেতৃত্বে জিহাদ করা তোমাদের ওপর ওয়াজিব- চাই সে সৎ হোক বা অসৎ। প্রত্যেক মুসলিমের পিছনে সালাত আদায় তোমাদের ওপর ওয়াজিব, চাই সে সৎ হোক বা অসৎ, এমন কি সে কবীরাহ গুনাহ করলেও। প্রত্যেক (মৃত) মুসলিমের জানাযা পড়া ওয়াজিব, চাই সে নেককার হোক অথবা পাপী, এমন কি সে কবীরাহ গুনাহ করলেও।
Narrated AbuHurayrah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Striving in the path of Allah (jihad) is incumbent on you along with every ruler, whether he is pious or impious; the prayer is obligatory on you behind every believer, pious or impious, even if he commits grave sins; the (funeral) prayer is incumbent upon every Muslim, pious and impious, even if he commits major sins
