। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। এক ব্যক্তি বললো, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! এক ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদের ইচ্ছা করেছে এবং সে এর দ্বারা পার্থিব সম্পদও অর্জন করতে চায়, (এ ব্যক্তির কি হবে)? নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ সে কোনো নেকী পাবে না। লোকেরা এতে অবাক হলো। তারা ঐ ব্যক্তিকে বললো, তুমি পুনরায় রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে জিজ্ঞেস করে দেখো। মনে হয় তুমি তাঁকে বুঝিয়ে বলতে পারনি। সে বললো, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদের ইচ্ছা করেছে এবং সে এর দ্বারা পার্থিব সম্পদও অর্জন করতে চায়। তিনি বললেনঃ সে কোনো নেকী পাবে না। লোকেরা বললো, তুমি বিষয়টি আবারো রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে জিজ্ঞেস করো। লোকটি তৃতীয়বার তাঁকে জিজ্ঞেস করলো। তিনি বললেনঃ সে কোনো নেকী পাবে না।
Narrated AbuHurayrah:
A man said: Messenger of Allah, a man wishes to take part in jihad in Allah's path desiring some worldly advantage? The Prophet (ﷺ) said: He will have not reward. The people thought it terrible, and they said to the man: Go back to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), for you might not have made him understand well. He, therefore, (went and again) asked: Messenger of Allah, a man wishes to take part in jihad in Allah's path desiring some worldly advantage? He replied: There is no reward for him. They again said to the man: Return to the Messenger of Allah. He, therefore, said to him third time. He replied: There is no reward for him
। মু‘আয ইবনু জাবাল (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ যুদ্ধ দু’ প্রকার। যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টির জন্য যুদ্ধ করে, ইমামের আনুগত্য করে, উত্তম জিনিস খরচ করে, সহকর্মীর সাথে কোমল ব্যবহার করে এবং বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টিকারী কাজ থেকে বিরত থাকে, তার নিদ্রা ও জাগরণ সব কিছুই সাওয়াবে পরিণত হয়। আর যে ব্যক্তি অহংকার, লোক দেখানো ও সুনামের জন্য যুদ্ধ করে, ইমামের অবাধ্য হয় এবং দুনিয়াতে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করে, সে জিহাদের সামান্য সাওয়াব নিয়েও বাড়িতে প্রত্যাবর্তন করে না।
Narrated Mu'adh ibn Jabal:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Fighting is of two kinds: The one who seeks Allah's favour, obeys the leader, gives the property he values, treats his associates gently and avoids doing mischief, will have the reward for all the time whether he is asleep or awake; but the one who fights in a boasting spirit, for the sake of display and to gain a reputation, who disobeys the leader and does mischief in the earth will not return credit or without blame
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، : أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا، جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ : إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ يُقَاتِلُ لِلذِّكْرِ، وَيُقَاتِلُ لِيُحْمَدَ، وَيُقَاتِلُ لِيَغْنَمَ، وَيُقَاتِلُ لِيُرَى مَكَانُهُ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم : " مَنْ قَاتَلَ حَتَّى تَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ أَعْلَى فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
। আবূ মূসা (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। জনৈক বেদুঈন রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর কাছে এসে বললো, কোনো ব্যক্তি নাম প্রচারের জন্য যুদ্ধ করে, এক ব্যক্তি প্রশংসা লাভের জন্য যুদ্ধ করে, কোনো ব্যক্তি গানীমাত লাভের জন্য যুদ্ধ করে এবং কোনো ব্যক্তি তার বীরত্ব প্রদর্শনের জন্য যুদ্ধ করে। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর কালেমাকে বুলন্দ করার জন্য যুদ্ধ করে কেবল সে-ই মহান আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদরত গণ্য হবে।
Abu Musa said “A beduoin came to the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) and said “One man fights for reputation, one fights for being praised, one fights for booty and one for his place to be seen. (Which of them is in Allaah’s path?)”. The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) replied “The one who fights that Allaah’s word may have pre-eminence is in Allaah’s path.”
। ‘উকবাহ ইবনু ‘আমির আল-জুহানী (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে মিম্বারের উপরে বলতে শুনেছিঃ ‘‘দুশমনের মুকাবিলার জন্য তোমরা যথাসাধ্য শক্তি অর্জন করো।’’[সূরা আল-আনফালঃ আয়াত ৬০] জেনে রাখো! এখানে শক্তির অর্থ হচ্ছে তীরন্দাজী (ক্ষেপনাস্ত্র), জেনে রাখো! এখানে শক্তির অর্থ হচ্ছে তীরন্দাজী (ক্ষেপনাস্ত্র), জেনে রাখো! এখানে শক্তির অর্থ হচ্ছে তীরন্দাজী (ক্ষেপনাস্ত্র)।
‘Uqabah bin Amir Al Juhani said “I heard the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) recite when he was on the pulpit “Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power. Beware, strength is shooting, beware strength is shooting, beware strength is shooting.”
