। আবূ ‘উবাইদ (রহ.) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, একদা উমার (রাযি.)-এর সাথে আমি এক ঈদের সালাতে উপস্থিত ছিলাম। তিনি খুত্ববাহর পূর্বে সালাত পড়লেন। অতঃপর বললেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এ দু‘দিন সওম রাখতে নিষেধ করেছেন। কেননা কুরবানীর দিন তোমরা তোমাদের কুরবানীর পশুর গোশত খেয়ে থাকো। আর ঈদুল ফিতরের দিন হলো তোমাদের সওমের সমাপ্তি।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Abu 'Ubaid:
I attended the 'Id (prayer) along with 'Umar. He offered prayer before the sermon. He then said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited fasting on these two days. As regards Id al-Adha, you eat the meat of your sacrificial animals. As for 'Id al-Fitr, you break (i.e. end) your fast
। আবূ বাকরাহ (রাযি.) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তোমাদের কেউ যেন না বলে, আমি পুরো রমাযান মাস সওম রেখে এবং এর পূর্ণ রাত (সালাতে) দাঁড়িয়ে কাটিয়েছি। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) এরূপ আত্মপবিত্রতা প্রকাশ অপছন্দ করেছেন নাকি কিছু সময় নিদ্রা ও বিশ্রামের প্রয়োজন বলেছেন তা আমার জানা নেই।[1] দুর্বলঃ যঈফ আল-জামি‘উস সাগীর (৬৩৬৭), যঈফ সুনান নাসায়ী
Narrated AbuBakrah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: One of you should not say: I fasted the whole of Ramadan, and I prayed during the night in the whole of Ramadan. I do not know whether he disliked the purification; or he (the narrator) said: He must have slept a little and taken rest
। আবূ সাঈদ আল-খুদরী (রাযি.) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম নিষেধ করেছেনঃ ঈদুল ফিতর ও ঈদুল আযহা- এ দু‘দিন সওম পালন করতে এবং দুই ধরনের পোশাক পরতে (সাম্মা) এক কাপড়ে সমগ্র শরীর পেঁচিয়ে নিয়ে শরীরকে এভাবে ঢাকা যে, হাঁটু উঁচু করে বসলে নীচ থেকে লজ্জাস্থান খোলা থাকে এবং দুই সময়ে সালাত আদায় করতে ফজরের পর এবং ‘আসরের পর।[1] সহীহ।

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade fasting on two days, al-Fitr (breaking the fast of Ramadan) and al-Adha (the day of sacrifice), and wearing a tight single garment the raising of which discloses private parts, and sitting with one's legs drawn up and wrapped in one's garment, and forbade praying at two hours, after the Fajr prayer and after the Asr prayer
