। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযি.) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহন সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ কেউ যদি সওম পালন করেও মিথ্যা বলা ও অপকর্ম ত্যাগ না করে, তাহলে তার পানাহার বর্জন করাতে আল্লাহর কোনো প্রয়োজন নেই।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: If anyone does not abandon falsehood and action is accordance with it, Allah has no need that he should abandon his food and drink. The narrator Ahmad (b. Yunus) said: I learnt the chain of narrators from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, and a man by his side made me understand the tradition. I think he was his cousin
। আবূ সাঈদ আল-খুদরী (রাযি.) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছেনঃ তোমরা বিরতিহীন সওম পালন করো না। অবশ্য কেউ ‘সাওমে বিসাল’ করতে চাইলে সাহারী পর্যন্ত করতে পারে। সাহাবীরা বললেন, আপনি তো ক্রমাগত সওম পালন করেন? তিনি বলেনঃ আমার অবস্থা তোমাদের মতো নয়। আমার খাদ্যদাতা ও পানীয়দাতা আছেন। তিনি আমাকে পানাহার করান।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Abu Sa'id al-Khudri:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: Do not observe perpetual fasting. If any of you wants to observe perpetual fast, he should observe it until the dawn. They (the people) asked: You observe perpetual fast ? He replied: My position is not like that of yours. There is One Who gives me to eat, and there is One who gives me to drink
। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযি.) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ তোমাদের কেউ সওম পালন করলে সে যেন পাপাচারে লিপ্ত না হয় এবং মূর্খের ন্যায় আচরণ না করে। কেউ তার সাথে ঝগড়া করলে বা তাকে গালমন্দ করলে সে যেন বলে, আমি সায়িম (রোযাদার), আমি সায়িম।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: Fast is a shield ; when one of you is fasting, he should neither behave in an obscene manner nor foolishly. If a man fights or abuses him, he should say: I am fasting, I am fasting
। ইবনু উমার (রাযি.) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বিরতিহীন সওম পালন করতে নিষেধ করেছেন। লোকেরা বললো, আপনি তো সাওমে বিসাল রাখেন। তিনি বললেনঃ আমার অবস্থা তোমাদের মতো নয়। কেননা আমাকে পানাহার করানো হয়।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited perpetual fasting. They (the people) said: You keep perpetual fasting, Messenger of Allah. He said: My position is not like that you yours. I am provided with food and drink
