। আবূ মুসহির (রহ.) বলেন, সাঈদ ইবনু ‘আব্দুল ‘আযীয (রহ.) বলতেন, ‘সাররাহ’ অর্থ শা‘বানের প্রথমভাগ।[1] শায। ইমাম আবূ দাঊদ (রহ.) বলেন, কারো মতে, মাসের মধ্যভাগ, কারো মতে, শেষভাগ। সহীহঃ মাসের শেষভাগ।
Narrated Ahmad b. 'Abd al-Wahid:
On the authority of Abu Mushir. He said: Sa'id, that is, Ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz said: The meaning of the word sirraha is "in the beginning of it (the month)
। আবুল ওয়ালীদ (রহ.) বলেন, আমি আবূ ‘আমর আল-আওযাঈকে বলতে শুনেছি, ‘সাররাহ অর্থ মাসের প্রথমভাগ।[1] শায মাকতূ’।
Sulaiman b. 'Abd al-Rahman al-Dimashqi said about this tradition that al-Walid said:I heard Abu 'Amr al-Auza'i say: The word sirrahu means beginning of the month
। ইবনু ‘আব্বাস (রাযি.)-এর আযাদকৃত গোলাম কুরাইব (রহ.) বলেন, উম্মুল ফাদল বিনতুল হারিস তাকে মু‘আবিয়াহ (রাযি.)-এর নিকট সিরিয়াতে কোনো দরকারে পাঠালেন। কুরাইব বলেন, আমি সিরিয়া এসে তার কাজটি পুরা করি। এমতাবস্থায় রমাযানের চাঁদও উদিত হলো। আমরা সেখানে বৃহস্পতিবার সন্ধ্যায় চাঁদ দেখি। রমাযানের শেষদিকে আমি মদীনায় ফিরে এলে ইবনু ‘আব্বাস (রাযি.) বিভিন্ন আলোচনার পর চাঁদ সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, তোমরা কখন চাঁদ দেখেছো? আমি বললাম, আমি বৃহস্পতিবার চাঁদ দেখেছি। তিনি জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, তুমি স্বচক্ষে চাঁদ দেখেছো? আমি বললাম, হ্যাঁ, লোকেরাও দেখেছে এবং তারা সওম রেখেছে আর মু‘আবিয়াহ (রাযি.)-ও সওম রেখেছেন। তিনি বললেন, আমরা চাঁদ দেখেছি শুক্রবার সন্ধ্যায়। সুতরাং আমরা ত্রিশ দিন পূর্ণ হওয়া অথবা (শাওয়ালের) চাঁদ না দেখা পর্যন্ত সওম পালন অব্যাহত রাখবো। তখন আমি বললাম, মু‘আবিয়াহর চাঁদ দেখা ও তাঁর সওম পালন কি আপনার সওম পালন ও ভঙ্গের জন্য যথেষ্ট নয়? তিনি উত্তর দিলেন, না, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদেরকে এরূপই নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Kuraib:
That Umm al-Fadl, daughter of al-Harith, sent him to Mu'aqiyah in Syria. He said: I came to syria and performed her work. The moon of Ramadan appeared while I was in Syria. We sighted the moon on the night of Friday. When I came to Median towards the end of the month (of Ramadan), Ibn 'Abbas asked me about the moon. He said: When did you sight the moon ? I said: I sighted it on the night of Friday. He asked: Did you sight it yourself ? I said: Yes, and the people sighted it. They fasted and Mu'awiyah also fasted. He said: But we sighted it on the night of saturday. Since then we have been fasting until we complete thirty days or we sight it. Then I said: Are the sighting of the moon by Mu'awiyah and his fasts not sufficient for us? He replied: No. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanded us to do so
। আবুল আযহার আল-মুগীরাহ ইবনু ফারওয়াহ (রহ.) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, একদা মু‘আবিয়াহ (রাযি.) হিমস শহরের প্রবেশ দ্বারে অবস্থিত মুসতাহিল বাজারে লোকদের উদ্দেশ্যে দাঁড়িয়ে বললেন, হে জনগণ! আমরা অমুক দিন, অমুক দিন চাঁদ দেখেছি। সুতরাং আমরা সওম আরম্ভ করতে যাচ্ছি। আর যে ব্যক্তি ভালো মনে করে সে যেন এরূপ করে। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, তখন মালিক ইবনু হুবাইরাহ আস-সাবঈ দাঁড়িয়ে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, হে মু‘আবিয়াহ! আপনি কি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে এ বিষয়ে কিছু শুনেছেন, নাকি আপনার ব্যক্তিগত অভিমত? মু‘আবিয়াহ (রাযি.) বললেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছিঃ তোমরা শা‘বান মাসে সওম পালন করো এবং বিশেষভাবে এর শেষদিকে।[1] দুর্বল।
Narrated Mu'awiyah:
AbulAzhar al-Mughirah ibn Farwah said: Mu'awiyah stood among the people at Dayr Mustahill lying at the gate of Hims. He said: O people, we sighted the moon on such-and-such day.
