। আবূ সাঈদ ইবনুল মু‘আল্লা (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। একদা তিনি সালাতে রত থাকাবস্থায় নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তার পাশ দিয়ে যাওয়ার সময় তাকে ডাকলেন। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, আমি সালাত আদায় শেষে তাঁর নিকট এলে তিনি আমাকে জিজ্ঞেস করলেনঃ আমার ডাকে সাড়া দিতে কিসে তোমাকে বাধা দিয়েছে? তিনি বললেন, আমি সালাতে রত ছিলাম। তিনি বললেনঃ মহান আল্লাহ কি বলেননিঃ ‘‘হে মুমিনগণ! যখন আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূল তোমাদেরকে এমন কিছুর দিকে ডাকে যা তোমাদেরকে প্রাণবন্ত করে। (সূরাহ আল-আনফাল : ২৪) আমি মাসজিদ থেকে বের হবার পূর্বেই তোমাকে কুরআনের অত্যধিক মর্যাদা সম্পন্ন একটি সূরাহ শিক্ষা দিবো। আমি বললাম, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! আমি আপনার কথাটি স্মরণ রাখবো। তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) বললেনঃ ‘‘আলহামদু লিল্লাহি রব্বিল ‘আলামীন’’, এটি হচ্ছে সাত আয়াতবিশিষ্ট সূরাহ। আমাকে এটি এবং কুরআনুল ‘আযীম প্রদান করা হয়েছে।[1] সহীহ : বুখারী।
Abu Sa'id b. al-Mu'alla said that when he was praying the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by him and he called him. He said:I prayed ant then I came to him. He asked: What prevented you from answering me ? He replied: I was praying. He said: Has not Allah said: "O you who believe, respond to Allah and the Apostle when he calls you to that which gives you life ? (8:24) Let me teach you the greatest surah from the Qur'an or in the Qur'an (the narrator Khalid doubted) before I leave the mosque. I said: (I shall memorize) your saying. He said: It is: "Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe" which is the seven oft-repeated verses, and the mighty Qur'an
। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ সূরাহ ‘‘আলহামদু লিল্লাহি রব্বিল ‘আলামীন’’ হচ্ছে উম্মুল কিতাব, উম্মুল কুরআন এবং বারবার পঠিতব্য সাতটি আয়াত।[1] সহীহ।
Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying:All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe" (1) is the epitome or basis of the Qur'an, the epitome or basis of the Book, and the seven oft-repeated verses
। ইবনু ‘আব্বাস রাযিয়াল্লাহু ‘আনহুমা সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে সাব‘উ মাসানী (সাত আয়াতবিশিষ্ট) নামক দীর্ঘ সূরাহ দেয়া হয়েছে এবং মূসা (আ)-কে দেয়া হয়েছিল ছয়টি। অতঃপর তিনি তাওরাতের লিখিত ফলকগুলো ছুড়ে ফেলায় দু‘টি উঠিয়ে নেয়া হয় এবং চারটি অবশিষ্ট থাকে।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was given seven repeated long surahs, while Moses was given six, When he threw the tablets, two of them were withdrawn and four remained
। ‘উক্ববাহ ইবনু ‘আমির আল-জুহানী (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, একদা আমরা সুফফাতে (মসজিদে নাববীর আঙ্গিনায়) অবস্থান করছিলাম এমন সময় রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের কাছে এসে বললেনঃ তোমাদের মধ্যে কে পছন্দ করবে যে, ভোরে বুতহান অথবা আক্বীক্ব উপত্যকায় গিয়ে সেখান থেকে আল্লাহর সাথে কোনরূপ অন্যায় না করে ও আত্মীয়তা ছিন্ন না করে উঁচু কুঁজবিশিষ্ট উজ্জল বর্ণের সুন্দর দু‘টি উটনী নিয়ে আসবে? তারা বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! আমরা সবাই। তিনি বললেনঃ অবশ্য তোমাদের কেউ ভোরে মসজিদে এসে আল্লাহর কিতাব হতে দু‘টি আয়াত শিক্ষা করলে এরূপ দু‘টি উটনীর চেয়েও উত্তম এবং তিনটি আয়াত শিক্ষা করলে তিনটি উটের চেয়ে উত্তম হবে। আয়াতের সংখ্যা যত বেশী হবে তা তত সংখ্যক উটের চেয়ে উত্তম হবে।[1] সহীহ : মুসলিম।
Uqbah b. 'Amir al-Juhani said:When we were in the Suffah, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asked: Which of you would like to go out every morning to Buthan or Al-'Aqiq and bring two large humped and fat she-camels without being guilty of sin and severing ties of relationship ? They (the people) said: Messenger of Allah, we would all like that. He said: If any one of you goes out in the morning to the mosque and learns two verses of the Book of Allah, the Exalted, it is better for him than two she-camels, and three verses are better for him than three she-camels, and so on than their numbers in camels
