حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي قَيْسٍ، يَقُولُ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ رضى الله عنها لاَ تَدَعْ قِيَامَ اللَّيْلِ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ لاَ يَدَعُهُ وَكَانَ إِذَا مَرِضَ أَوْ كَسِلَ صَلَّى قَاعِدًا .
। ‘আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু আবূ ক্বায়িস (রহঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, ‘আয়িশাহ্ (রাঃ) বলেছেন, তুমি রাতের ক্বিয়াম ছেড়ে দিবে না। কারণ রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কখনো একে পরিত্যাগ করতেন না। তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) অসুস্থ হলে কিংবা অলসতা বোধ করলে বসে সালাত আদায় করতেন।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin:
Do not give up prayer at night, for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would not leave it. Whenever he fell ill or lethargic, he would offer it sitting
। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ তোমাদের কেউ যখন ঘুমিয়ে পড়ে তখন শয়তান তার মাথার পিছনে তিনটি গিরা দেয় এবং প্রতিটি গিরা দেয়ার সময় বলে, আরো ঘুমাও, রাত এখনো অনেক বাকী। যদি ঐ ব্যক্তি সজাগ হয়ে আল্লাহর যিকির করে, তখন একটি গিরা খুলে যায়। যদি সে অযু করে তাহলে আরেকটি গিরা খুলে যায় এবং যদি সে সালাত আদায় করে, তাহলে শেষ গিরাও খুলে যায়। ফলে ঐ ব্যক্তি সতেজ ও উৎফুলতা নিয়ে সকাল করে। (আর এরূপ না করে ঘুমিয়ে থাকলে) সে অলসতা ও মন্দ মন নিয়ে সকাল করবে।[1] সহীহ : বুখারী ও মুসলিম।
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: When one you sleeps, the devil ties three knots at the back of his neck, sealing every knot with, "You have a long night, so sleep." So if one awakes and mentions Allah, a knot will be loosened; if he performs ablution another knot will be loosened; and if he prays, the third knot will be loosened; and in the morning he will be active and in good spirits; otherwise he will be in bad spirits and sluggish
। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ আল্লাহ এমন ব্যক্তির প্রতি দয়া করুন যে রাতে সজাগ হয়ে নিজে সালাত আদায় করে এবং তার স্ত্রীকেও সজাগ করে। স্ত্রী উঠতে না চাইলে সে তার মুখমন্ডলে পানি ছিটায়।[1] হাসান সহীহ।
Narrated AbuHurayrah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: May Allah have mercy on a man who gets up at night and prays, and awakens his wife; if she refuses, he should sprinkle water on her face. May Allah have mercy on a woman who gets up at night and prays, and awakens her husband; if he refuses, she would sprinkle water on his face
। ইবনু ‘আব্বাস রাযিয়াল্লাহু ‘আনহুমা সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, সূরাহ মুযযাম্মিলের প্রথমাংশ অবতীর্ণ হলে মুসলিমরা রমাযান মাসের ন্যায় রাতে দীর্ঘ ক্বিয়াম (সালাত আদায়) করতে লাগলেন। অতঃপর এ সূরাহর শেষাংশ অবতীর্ণ হয়। এ সূরাহর প্রথম ও শেষাংশ অবতীর্ণের মধ্যে এক বছরের ব্যবধান ছিল।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
When the opening verses of Surah Al-muzammil was revealed, the Companions would pray as long as they would pray during Ramadan until its last verses were revealed. The period between the revelation of its opening and the last verses was one year
