। আবূ আলকামাহ্ সূত্রে বর্ণিত। ‘উসমান (রাঃ) অযুর জন্য পানি চাইলেন। পানি আনা হলে তিনি ডান হাত দিয়ে বাম হাতে পানি নিয়ে উভয় হাত কব্জি পর্যন্ত ধুলেন। এরপর তিনবার কুলি করলেন এবং নাকে পানি দিলেন। অন্যান্য অঙ্গ তিনবার করে ধুলেন ও মাথা মাসাহ্ করলেন। অবশেষে উভয় পা ধুয়ে বললেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে এভাবেই অযু করতে দেখেছি, যেরূপ তোমরা আমাকে অযু করতে দেখলে। অতঃপর বর্ণনাকারী যুহরীর বর্ণিত হাদীসের অনুরূপ পূর্ণাঙ্গ হাদীস বর্ণনা করেন।[1] হাসান সহীহ।
Abu ‘Alqamah said that ‘Uthman called for water and performed ablution. He then poured water with the right hand or the left hand ; he then washed them up to the wrist ; he then rinsed the mouth and snuffed up water three times. The narrator mentioned that ‘ Uthman washed each part three times. He then wiped head and washed his feet. He said :I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performing ablution as you saw me perform ablution. He then reported the tradition like that of al-Zuhrl and completed it
। ‘উসমান ইবনু ‘আবদুর রহমান আত-তাইমী সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, ইবনু আবূ মুলায়কাহকে অযু সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসা করা হলে তিনি বলেন, আমি ‘উসমান ইবনু ‘আফফান (রাঃ)-কে অযু সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসিত হতে দেখেছি। তিনি (‘উসমান) পানি চাইলেন। একটি পাত্রে পানি আনা হলে তিনি প্রথমে উক্ত পাত্র স্বীয় ডান হাতের উপর কাঁত করলেন (অর্থাৎ ডান হাত ধৌত করলেন)। এরপর পাত্রে ডান হাত ডুবিয়ে পানি নিয়ে তিনবার কুলি করলেন, তিনবার নাকে পানি দিলেন, তিনবার মুখমন্ডল ধুলেন, তিনবার ডান হাত ধুলেন, তিনবার বাম হাত ধুলেন, অতঃপর হাত ডুবিয়ে পানি নিয়ে মাথা ও কান মাসাহ্ করলেন- উভয় কানের ভিতর ও বহিরাংশ একবার করে মাসাহ্ করলেন। তারপর উভয় পা ধৌত করে বললেনঃ অযু সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসাকারীরা কোথায়? রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে এরূপই অযু করতে আমি দেখেছি।’ ইমাম আবূ দাউদ (রহঃ) বলেন, ‘উসমান (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত অযু সম্পর্কিত সহীহ হাদীসসমূহের দ্বারা প্রমাণিত হয় যে, মাথা মাসাহ্ কেবল একবারই করতে হয়। কেননা প্রত্যেক বর্ণনাকারী অযুর অঙ্গগুলো তিনবার করে ধোয়ার কথা উল্লেখ করেছেন। তারা প্রত্যেক বর্ণনায় বলেছেন, এবং মাথা মাসাহ্ করেছেন। কিন্তু মাথা মাসাহর কোন সংখ্যা উল্লেখ করা হয়নি; যেরূপ অন্যান্য অঙ্গ-প্রত্যঙ্গ সম্পর্কে করা হয়েছে। [1] সহীহ।
‘Abd al-Rahman al-TamiI reported:Ibn Abi Mulaikah was asked about ablution. He said : I saw ‘Uthman b. ‘Affan who was asked about ablution. He called for water. A vessel was then brought to him. He inclined it towords his right hand (poured water upon it). He then put it in the water three times, and washed his face three times. He then put his hand in the water and took it out; then he wiped his head and ears, in and out only once. He then washed his feet, and said : Where are those who asked me to perform ablution? I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performing ablution like that. Abu Dawud said : All the sound traditions narrated by ‘ Uthman indicated that the head is to be wiped once, because they mentioned (the washing of each part in) ablution three times. In their versions of tradition they mentioned the wordings: “he wiped his head.” In this case they did not mention any number as they did in other cases
। শাকীক ইবনু সালামাহ (রহঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি ‘উসমান ইবনু ‘আফফান (রাঃ)-কে (অযুর সময়) উভয় হাত কনুই পর্যন্ত তিনবার তিনবার করে ধুতে এবং তিনবার মাথা মাসাহ্ করতে দেখেছি। এরপর তিনি বলেছেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে এরূপ করতে দেখেছি। [1] ইমাম আবূ দাউদ (রহঃ) বলেন, ওয়াকী' সূত্রে ইসরাঈলের বর্ণনায় রয়েছে, তিনি অযুর অঙ্গসমূহ মাত্র তিনবার করে ধুলেন। হাসান সহীহ।
Shaqiq b. Salamah said :I saw ‘ Uthman b. ‘ Affan (perform ablution). He washed his forearms three times and washed his head thrice. He then said : I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) doing like that. Abu Dawud said: Another version says: "He performed ablution three times only
। হুমরান সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি ‘উসমান ইবনু ‘আফফান (রাঃ)-কে অযু করতে দেখেছি। অতঃপর পূর্বোক্ত হাদীসের অনুরূপ উল্লেখ করেন। কিন্তু তাতে কুলি করা ও নাকে পানি দেয়ার কথা উল্লেখ নেই। তিনি তাতে বলেনঃ এবং তিনি তিনবার মাথা মাসাহ্ করেছেন, এরপর তিনবার দু’ পা ধুয়েছেন। অবশেষে বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে আমি এভাবে অযু করতে দেখেছি এবং তিনি বলেছেনঃ এর চেয়ে কম করলে (অর্থাৎ দুই অথবা একবার করে ধুলেও) যথেষ্ট হবে। এই হাদীসে সালাতের কথা উল্লেখ নেই।[1] হাসান সহীহ
Humran said :I saw ‘Uthman b. ‘Affan performing ablution. He then narrated the same tradition. In this version there is no mention of rinsing the mouth and snuffing up water. This traditions adds : “He wiped his head three times. He then washed his feet three times. He then said : I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performing ablution in like manner. He (the Prophet) said: He who performs ablution less than this, it is sufficient for him. 73 The narrator did not mention prayer (in this version)
